This is an aug event in the first Frostcrypt raid expedition.
Lorekeeper Bentolf and a host of meditating shades can be found in the large room south of the maze entrance. a meditating shade softly intones a haunting mystic chant. Neither Bentolf, nor the meditating shades will attack until Bentolf is provoked. You say, 'Hail, Lorekeeper Bentolf' Lorekeeper Bentolf says 'Keep [quiet], we are meditating.' You say, 'We will not be quiet!' Bentolf hits for ~7,000 and is permanently rooted. One by one, the meditating shades will turn into one of four giant types and attack. They are a bit weaker than the trash mobs in the zone: a fuming shade a glaring shade an angry shade an inconsolable shade Kill Lorekeeper Bentolf. During the fight he can emote: Lorekeeper Bentolf focuses on defending against physical attacks! ...In which case he mitigates some damage. Lorekeeper Bentolf has been slain by _____! Your faction standing with Ancestors of Valdeholm got worse. Your faction standing with Valdeholm Citizens could not possibly get any better. Your faction standing with Wraithguard Leadership could not possibly get any better. The remaining adds do not despawn, so you'll have to kill them.
