This solo task begins with Johnny the Black Crow who is located at about -1665, 3270 on the island of Jardel's Hook in the Buried Sea.

You say, 'Hail, Johnny the Black Crow'

Johnny the Black Crow squints at you, and bellows, 'Hail? Hail!? No self-respecting seafaring swashbuckler would give a man quarter that had the guts to utter that word. Out here, when you're speaking to me, a proper greeting starts with a hearty [yarrg]. Can you give me that?'

You say, 'Yarrg!'

Johnny the Black Crow says 'Har har. That's more like it, _____. I'm liking you already. Now, unless you've got a map of [Redfeather Isle] tattooed to your backside, shove off, swabby. Johnny is a busy man.'

You say, 'Redfeather Isle?'

Johnny the Black Crow leans in close, 'Aye, and you're pressing my patience and your luck, mate. When one or the other gives out I'll give you an opportunity to kiss the gunner's daughter, personally. If it pains you to know, Redfeather is a small isle off to the southeast, inhabited by strange bird creatures. I sailed out there under cover of nightfall, searching for lost [chests] from a sunken vessel, when I spotted the island. I charted it as best I could by the dim light of the moon, but my map is incomplete without the major [landmarks].'

You say, 'What chests?'

Johnny the Black Crow says 'Long story, that, involving bloodshed, betrayal, and burning sails. The long and short of it is that a merchant vessel was downed just off the coast of Redfeather Isle and I've got the impression that the booty washed ashore, among the bird people. If you somehow stumble upon the goods I've a mind to award you for the [effort].'

You say, 'Effort?'

Johnny the Black Crow says 'Alright, if you insist, _____. Head out to Redfeather Isle. Look on the coast for boxes washed up on shore, or perhaps just under the water. The merchant vessel's goods will be of no use to you, but they're of particular importance to some associates of mine.'

A merchant vessel was attacked off the coast of Redfeather Isle. Though the ship capsized and was lost to the briny deep, much of the cargo floated to the shore of the nearby island. Johnny wants you to retrieve several specific items from the cargo and return them to him.
