I heard that the Mucktail [gnolls] that fell into the Hollow often carry ore and metal. They do a lot of mining up there. Maybe they'd be willing to donate some of their materials. Ha!' You will only get smithy ore to drop first - once those 5 are collected/looted then the same gnolls will start to drop the smithy bits.

Just a tip, if you do the quest Reakash's Revenge, the clicky mask gives a nice boost to poison saves. Helps against the shamans.
