Cook Idriak may be found at -215, -1725.

You say, 'Hail, Cook Idriak'

Cook Idriak says 'Lovely day, isn't it? What I wouldn't give for some Flutter Soup! Those [pesky Bixies] have been eluding me all day, and honestly they are just delicious. I like to think of myself as something of a chef, you see. There are so many recipes out there waiting to be discovered!'

You say, 'Pesky Bixies?'

Cook Idriak says 'I know, I know. People seem to balk at the idea of actually eating the Bixies, but they just need to keep an open mind! This could be an incredible boon and practically limitless food source for Crescent Reach. Nearly every body part is edible! For instance, all I need to make a delectable soup are some [wings], or a light and fluffy flan from [antennae], and the very best new top secret recipe calls for [heads]! Now, what do you know about [jumjum refining]?'

You say, 'Jumjum refining?'

You have been assigned the task 'Jumjum Research'.

Cook Idriak says 'Bixies are master farmers! Just look at it! They cultivate more graceful vegetables than any farmer this side of Norrath! The subtle variations in jumjum strain, the color, the vitality - it is unmatched! I must see all of it. I will show Farmer Joen what a perfect plant can do to a stew! Bring me some fresh jumjum, jumjum wine, refined jumjum, jumjum jam, and baby jumjum! Ah, the recipes are flowing in my mind already!'

The Bixies have refined the art of jumjum harvesting and cultivation. Collect jumjum in its various forms for Cook Idriak to study.

Loot 2 Fresh Jumjum 0/2 (Stone Hive)

Loot 2 Jumjum Wine 0/2 (Stone Hive)

Loot 2 Processed Jumjum 0/2 (Stone Hive)

Loot 2 Jumjum Jam 0/2 (Stone Hive)

These all drop from various bixies in the zone. They seem to be a bit more common inside the hive then outside. Once you've looted the last item:

You have gathered plenty of jumjum samples. Return to Cook Idriak to share your discoveries.

Deliver 2 pieces of Fresh Jumjum to Cook Idriak 0/2 (Blightfire Moors)

Deliver 2 bottles of Jumjum Wine to Cook Idriak 0/2 (Blightfire Moors)

Deliver 2 pieces of Processed Jumjum to Cook Idriak 0/2 (Blightfire Moors)

Deliver 2 bottles of Jumjum Jam to Cook Idriak 0/2 (Blightfire Moors)

The reward for this task is a Honeycomb Blaster.

This is one of those easy quests, no need for a turn in, just collect the items. Granted the reward only works on Bee's, but if you have a tank, like a warrior, who doesn't have a way to slow the mob, this is a way to hunt and not worry about ads in at least this zone.

Anyone who is doing the series of Bixie quests in Blightfire and Stone Hive should do this quest as early as possible. A lot of the bixies run, but when snared they just turn their back on you. No runners, less adds, safer questing. When you get to high to benefit from bixies, destroy the item. Easy quest for an item of limited use.

I just got this snare on my 55 war and plan on using it in The Plane of Mischief. It's still a nice zone and plenty of bixies to pull at zone in.
holy geeze
