Ozzana the Trapper may be found at -50, 660 (Drakkin outpost just southwest of the swamp area in the central part of the zone).

You say, 'Hail, Ozzana the Trapper'

Ozzana the Trapper says 'Careful, ______. These moors can be dangerous but also very profitable if you know where to hunt. Interested in collecting some animal [skins]?'

You say, 'What skins?'

A task window appears with a list of tasks. Pick "The Slashclaw Cliffs."

Ozzana the Trapper says 'Excellent! Then let the hunt begin.'

You have been assigned the task 'The Slashclaw Cliffs'.

You are given a "Slashclaw Cub Trap," which is a LORE ITEM, NO TRADE, QUEST ITEM with a clickable effect called "Slashclaw Cub Trap."

Ozzana says, 'More rare skins can be found amongst the southern cliffs near the gnoll camp. Find the slashclaw den lairs and bring me enough pelts to make a hunting cloak. Use this trap to capture a live slashclaw cub. I hear they can be trained if you catch them young enough.'

Loot 4 Pristine Slashclaw Pelt 0/4 (Blightfire Moors)

South of the Highhold Pass zoneline there are a number of "a moors slashclaw" and "a young slashclaw". Kill these until you loot 4x "Pristine Slashclaw Pelt".

Use the Slashclaw Trap to Capture a Slashclaw Cub 0/1 (Blightfire Moors)

In the same area there are several of "a slashclaw cub". Right-click the Slashclaw Cub Trap while targeted on one and the cub will disappear and give the emote...

The slashclaw cub mews weakly as it is captured in the trap.

Note: Only "a slashclaw cub" will work. No other mob types work for this.

Deliver 1 Slashclaw Cub Trap to Ozzana 0/1 (Blightfire Moors)

Deliver 4 Pristine Slashclaw Pelt to Ozzana 0/4 (Blightfire Moors)

Upon turning in both the pelts and Cub Trap to Ozzana:

Ozzana says, 'Well done. Here is your promised reward. Let me know if you are up for collecting more [skins].'

To the person who said it's not worth it, that's true if you are not doing the entire quest line which gives a reward at the end.
Can't trap cubs.

Right clicking on the trap when a cub targeted doesn't work. Have obtained more than the required 4 pristine pelts and got the update note for that part of the quest. Ideas ?

Is the trap in a bag? ... it must be in a main inventory slot to right-click

I needed more than the note, any slot.... Means any inventory slot... right click when you have the cub targeted and it works.... got the cub and gated out with two moors slashclaw on me.... tried to turn it in and Ozzana would not take it... hopefully only because I have not looted the pristine pelts... will try again another day smile...

I started doing this quest with my nec at lvl 26 and i got around 6-7 % exp and thats it. no factions no coins no reward at all. the time it took me to do the turn in i might as well have killed 2 more slashclaws and gained more exp by that. all in all a waste of time.
