Find Smithy Bronson in the forge area of Crescent Reach (location -1422, -1624, -87).

Or perhaps you've been sent here to [help] me out? You say, 'I will help' Smithy Bronson says 'Are you daft or do you like repeating what has already been said? Don't answer that. Anyhow as you can see, the rate at which this city is growing is drowning me in orders. Here is a quick list of things I could use a hand with.' Among the tasks you can select is "Kindling for the Fires". The city's militia is quickly getting too large for me to handle making armor and weapons on my own. Why I can't even gather wood for my own cooking fires at home any more. Since you hardly look like you have any experience with smithing, perhaps you'd be willing to gather some firewood from the marsh for me? That way I can at least concentrate on my work here. Bring back four branches from the Hedge Devils in the Moors. You can find them near the road out to Highpass. - Leave Crescent Reach and enter the Moors - Kill 10 Hedge Devils - Look 4 Hedge Devil Branchs (stackable) - Return 4 Hedge Devil Branchs to Smithy Bronson Reward for task completion: Experience | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

As of this post, this is a Repeatable Task, just wish it was for more XP & maybe some loot.

i got this quest with a halfling druid, lvl 25 so i think it lvl based?
level 24 cleric couldn't get this quest.
I imagine with all of Atkins quests being moved up 5 levels in order to get. Instead of level 10, can start his quest line at level 15. Suspect that this quest has been moved from level 20 to level 25 requirement.

I was able to get this quest at level 26 , not sure if you can get earier tho.
I had also done the other quest that Smithy Bronson has also so not sure if they are the key or just level.

Smithy didn't offer this quest to me at level 20. So I wonder if there is something I haven't completed yet or if it's just level related.
