This task is the second in a series of six. It begins with Dorina in Goru'kar Mesa atop the Windwillow plateau with the other dryads. Upon completion of the previous task...
Dorina says, 'I told you he loves me. The way he [moped] about all day. Can you take a letter to him for me? I don't want him to spend any longer pining over me.' You gain experience!! You say, 'It didn't look like he moped about' Dorina says 'Yes, moping. It may not have seemed that way, but I promise you he was having a [horrible] day without me.' You say, 'Oh, yeah... looked really horrible...' Dorina says 'Yes. Take this letter to him for me. I am sure it will be a big relief for him to know that I return his feelings.' You have the option to accept 'Dorina's Love Letter' task. You have been assigned the task 'Dorina's Love Letter'. Dorina has asked you to bring a letter to Simu and return to her with any comments he might have. Receive the item Letter to Simu. Deliver 1 Letter to Simu Goru`kar Mesa Give the letter to Simu. Your task 'Dorina's Love Letter' has been updated. Give Simu some space and time to read the letter Goru`kar Mesa Your task 'Dorina's Love Letter' has been updated. Speak with Simu Goru`kar Mesa You say, 'Hail, Simu' Your task 'Dorina's Love Letter' has been updated. Simu says 'Um, who is [Dorina]?' You say, 'Dorina is a dryad who says she loves you.' Simu says 'If you say so. I really do not know her. Go ahead and thank her for the letter' Speak with Dorina � Goru`kar Mesa You say, 'Hail, Dorina' Your task 'Dorina's Love Letter' has been updated. Dorina says, 'He said he did not know me? Such wonderful games he plays! I think I will get him a [gift]. Yes that is it, a gift!' You gain experience!! After awhile I said, "Dorina" to him and he responded. I think there's a line you're supposed to say to him that we don't know about.

Gave Simu the letter, and waited and waited because I was not next to campfire. I talked to Simu anyway. Task updated and I returned to Dorina. Hailed her and dhe said" OK sisters I will dance with you. Quest disappeared from Quest journal. A bit perplexed about this, I couldn't remove it and star over, so I tracked Dorina and repeated the last thing I said to her. Which was "It didn't look as if he moped about all day". Bingo, she gave me the next task, "Dorina's Gift".

Give Simu some space and time to read the letter � Goru`kar Mesa ... anyone know How long? and WHY would this step be in here?!?!?

Ok...now I'm getting pissed. I've let 3 "game" days go by. Still can't talk to Simu. Whats the deal? Any help on triggering the next step would be helpful.

Thanx for updates about being by campfire...The trigger location is ~ -755, 1180
I've logged off and on, zoned, played for a while in other zones, but still not getting anything to happen with this quest. Going to try hanging out in the Mesa for a while and see if I can get anything to move on this. In the mean time anyone else having success with this quest?
Update: Went and hung out by the camp fire in the Minohten camp, as soon as I got close I got the update.

I can confirm Sadenaig's post, just run near the camp fire in the Minohten camp and the quest updates.
