Beno Targnarle (Warrior Guildmaster) is in the warrior guild in South Kaladim at location +81.11, +405.40. He's on Find (Ctrl+F).

Go and speak with the others. They shall help you. I am afraid I have no time to spend conversing. There is much I have to [ponder].' You say, 'Ponder what?' Beno Targnarle says 'Must you know everyone's business? Hmm.. Maybe you can be of assistance. You see, I have been instructed by Furtog to tend to a matter of extreme urgency, which is keeping me from clearing the mines of rats. Will you assist and [exterminate the rats]?' You say, 'I will exterminate the rats.' Beno Targnarle says 'Very good! I shall reward you for every four giant rat pelts returned to me. And be on the lookout for a [metal rat]!' You say, 'What metal rat?' Beno Targnarle says 'I cannot tell you how many reports I have heard of metal rats in Kaladim. I first thought it was a vision obtained from having too many Tumpy Tonics, but Furtog himself is said to have seen them. If you ever catch sight of the little metal beast, give chase!! Return its metal carcass to me and I shall reward you.' Cleaner VII! is a clockwork rat in North Kaladim. Kill it and loot Scrap Metal. Head back to South Kaladim and hand Beno the Scrap Metal. Beno Targnarle says 'I thank you, my friend. I was to destroy this metal monster months ago. I could never find him. Please accept this reward for such good service. Oh, yes... And take this card to a man named [Doran Vargnus]. He is a fine blacksmith. I am sure he will reward you with one of his finest suits of armor. Perhaps you may now assist in an [important Stormguard matter].' Your faction standing with Storm Guard has been adjusted by 20. Your faction standing with Kazon Stormhammer has been adjusted by 3. Doran Vargnus is one of the dwarven smiths shipwrecked on the Island of Erollisi at at location 2360.88, -7620.08 in the northwest corner. His island is located in the Ocean of Tears between Kaladim and Freeport. Translocator Fithop at the docks in Butcherblock Mountains will teleport you there. Hand Doran the Knight. In return he gives you an item which ranges from cloth to some pretty nice armor pieces such as blackened and bronze, and even dwarven mail, as well as weapons. Doran Vargnus says 'Ahh! You must have been sent by Beno of the Stormguard. I have been wondering when he would return my card. I have not been playing with a full deck. How about a reward? Hmm. If you are in Qeynos, look up the 'Testament of Vanear' quest. In order to get the container, you must give a certain NPC (Cant remember) 4 GP and he will give you a card. IF its a jester, you get the container. If you get a knight, you can keep it.

I tried giving Moodoro money just to get knight cards to do the dwarven OOT quest. Don't bother. After 200gp (50 attempts) I got the following:
Beggar Card: 26 (52%)
King Card: 9 (18%)
Queen Card: 8 (16%)
Jester Card: 7 (14%)
Knight Card: 0 waste o' time and cash

My personal suggestion is to take as many knight cards as possible. They are no drop, but not lore. I didn't do this however, though the two I did have, garnered me a bronze main gauche (wooot) and a Dwarven Ringmail Tunic (WOOOOOOOOOT)
So, take several cards, and don't own a DRT.
Immediately went back to CB and bought the BOB for 30... screaming mace!

How often does this monster spawn? I have a Dwarf Cleric who is bent on completing this quest for the good armor. I saw him but before i could launch a spell he ran and Ran fast. I then waited for @45 minutes and all i saw was 2 Giant rats and a diseased rat. How long does it take for him to spawn again? OH, and the fastes way to get back to BB if your a dwarf is GATE spell.

The cleaner spawns on the railroad tracks in the mines of kaladim every 1-8 minutes as far as I've seen. Giant Rats and Infected Rats are placeholders. From what I can guess, the spawns are random, but after about 3 hours and 1 cleaner, I decided that with nothing else to do I'd turn in the knight card. I got a "I can't give you any of my good armor..." message from Doran and proceeded to realize I need alot better faction than amiable to do this quest and have a decent reward. Cb belts, lego pads, giant rats pelts(warrior version) and general orc genocide should help faction wise. Good luck to you all.

I finished the quest and I'm sitting at the dock waiting for the boat back to BBM. About 10 minutes of sitting around and a pirate aggros on me from half way across the island. Well I was only 6th level at the time so I was dead in 4 hits including a BS for 85 damage when I was jumping in the water to hopefully get him to stop. So I get back on the boat and head to FP and finally back to Erollisi. I think my corpse is in the water so I swim around for about an hour looking and when I decide to give up and I'm sitting on the dock I get mauled by the pirate again. Well I decided to try to go back again and when I get off the boat I do a corpse pull on the dock and my original corpse pops out from the bottom of the dock (I checked there but I couldn't see it before). Luckily I got all my stuff back and made it back on the boat in about 10 seconds. Oh and I did gain over 30 points in swimming and a ringmail neckguard so it was'nt a completely worthless trip.

once you give the card to the dwarf on the island how are you supposed to get back to a island where you can get back to bbm?

The island where you find the dwarven smith, is the island where the boat stops at coming from freeport to BBM, so you can just wait at the docks for the boat, and sail home.

i dont see this dwarf anywere on the island. just to make sure i got this right catching the boat at BBM you stop at a small island on the way, get off there, right? well thats the island im on and i dont see any tents of dwarves for that matter.

No, you are on the WRONG island! You have to go all the way to Freeport on the boat. The boat only stops at Errolisi Island on the way BACK!!!! The correct island is occupied by the Sisters of Errolisi.
As you disembark from the boat, follow the shoreline to the left and you will come to the dwarf camp. This is also where you can purchase the nuts that Tumpy requires to make Tumpy tonics (they do not stack). Also, Purity Belts are dropped by the Sisters when killed. If anyone is camping them, ask if you can buy one from them.
Oh, and be sure to con the Sister on the dock before getting off the boat. At low levels, you will be dead meat if KOS!
