This solo task does not have a time limit.

This task begins with Rokiln the Hunter in Vergalid Mines.

You say, 'Hail, Rokiln the Hunter'

The spirit speaks slowly, 'Greeetinnngs. . . Though you be not my kindred, you have proven your worth by delivering these noble hunting trophies to honor my grave. In return for this great service, Troll, I will tell you the [tale] of this tomb.'

You say, 'What tale?'

Rokiln the Hunter says 'For many years, my ancestors held these mines, until the dragon men came. . .'

Rokiln now offer his four different tasks...

Rokiln's tomb was once a vestibule for storing artifacts of the giants. The tomb has since been raided and looted by drakkin who have overrun the mines. Among the objects stolen by Dyn'leth's armies was an old giant artifact known as the Shield of the Otherworld. The artifact held special spiritual significance to the giants as it contained the names of all their fallen warriors, heroes, and kings on three interlocking disks. Dyn'leth, realizing this significance, smashed the disk and awarded the broken shards to his various captains and commanders as trophies.

The Disk of the Warriors remained in the Vergalid Mines with the followers of Dyn'Leth assigned there.

Return the remnants of the Disk of the Warriors to Rokiln at his tomb.

Return the First Fragment of the Warrior's Disk to Rokiln's Tomb 0/1 (Vergalid Mines)
Return the Second Fragment of the Warrior's Disk to Rokiln's Tomb 0/1 (Vergalid Mines)
Return the Third Fragment of the Warrior's Disk to Rokiln's Tomb 0/1 (Vergalid Mines)
Return the Fourth Fragment of the Warrior's Disk to Rokiln's Tomb 0/1 (Vergalid Mines)
Return the Fifth Fragment of the Warrior's Disk to Rokiln's Tomb 0/1 (Vergalid Mines)
Return the Sixth Fragment of the Warrior's Disk to Rokiln's Tomb 0/1 (Vergalid Mines)

bottleneck
# Nov 07 2020 at 4:47 PM Rating: Decent
The bottleneck to this quest is the Unearthed Mass and maybe the Surveyor. I think I was really lucky about the surveyor, but the unearthed mass took several spawn cycles. Basically, an entire day was spent on the goo. The rest I was able to complete in about an hour.

Ok, I dont have locs tho will look at my map file in a min, but how to get to the mobs is like this:

NOTE: All pieces are Pre-lootable. While waiting for the first 3 names to spawn, kill goblins and orcs. Look for an Arid Indicolite Shard to drop (No Trade, Temporary). You will need this to get past the door. Also, DO NOT run away while agroed by a named. They do not reset to spawn points and can easily get lost god-knows-where throughout the zone. If you train a named from its loc, you wont find it again until the zone resets, not even with a tracker.

Enter the zone and go down the elevator. Take the tunnel to the north, then east to the room with the tents. The first dead end tunnel to the north has a single roaming drakkin overseer amidst the orcs and goblins. The drakkin is PH for Overseer Dyla (piece 2). Best killed at the dead-end of the tunnel.

Now move across the room with the tents to the southeast. Down the staircase there is a gem-filled room with a Big, green teleport gem. The static drakkin to the right of the green gem is the PH for Surveyor Jezrak (piece 3). Best killed at spawn loc.

Head north to the tunnel that branches from the northeast of the tent room. Again you will see a single roaming drakkin amidst orcs and goblins. This is the PH for Watchman Orak (piece 4). He is best killed at the far end of the tunnel.

Now continue thru the burial chamber and shrine room and you will see a big cluster of blue gems in the center of the room. Put the Arid Shard in a bag slot and right click it while standing as close to the gems as you can. This gives you a Flawless Indicolite Shard which is permanent and will port you thru the statue/door on the east side of the room. You keep the Arid shard. If you have friends with you and not everyone has the key, r-click the arid shard 10 times to make the door disappear entirely. This can only be done with the arid shard.

On the far side of the door, head down the tunnel until you see the large chamber with the water in it. The first undead you see is the main PH for Velosk (piece 6), though he can spawn anywhere a bone grafter can in this room. Best to pull him to the tunnel entrance or the stairs south-east of the cavern depending on where he spawns.

Make your way to the left around the the cavern until you reach the stairs in the southeast area. The blood of Vergalid are all PHs for Unearthed Mass (piece 5). Kill it where you find it.

Continue around the chamber to the exit tunnel in the southwest of the room. Watch for see invis drakkin and you will notice more undead. As you enter the "pit chamber" watch the wall on your left (south). Way up on the wall tucked in cozy like will be a double spawn of a spawn of Vergalid. These are the main PHs for Har'Lak (piece 1 and 6). Just beyond this a bit further down the ramp you will see another spawn of Verg by the blue crystals and another on the wall, these can also be PHs. Fight him on the ledge just below the double spawn after clearing the ledge of adds.

Go back to the burial chamber and head north to find Roklin the Hunter. Get the quest, do the turn in, and Grats!!

Bonus:
This can be soloed by 75-80+ depending on merc and gear. Easy one groupable but takes forever getting them all to spawn for each group member.

You can skip Velosk and see if Har'Lak drops both pieces, he always drops the 1st one and commonly the 6th.

Be careful of adds. All mobs agro on eachother and they are packed tight together in many places. Some like to hide around corners and behind ledges.

Any mob can drop the Arid Shard but goblins and orcs drop it most commonly.

If you are having trouble getting a named to spawn move on to the next and come back later. Its not hard to camp all 3 of the first nameds at once.

Excellent description of where the 6 fragments and their respective named mobs could be located. There was only one confusing part for me: Watchman Orak. I misread the description and assumed that he was the wandering drakkin coming from the short dead end tunnel to the north of where Surveyor Jezrak spawns next to the cluster of crystals. After several clearings of the tunnel mobs and the wanderer, I finally found Watchman Orak's PH to be the wandering Drakkin in the tunnel that leads to the burial chamber (not the dead end tunnel directly to the north of Surveyor Jezrak. Otherwise, the other locations were spot on, and saved me a great deal of time.

I found that standing near 550, -800 gave me easy pulls of the Overseer and the Surveyor, and the Watchman would auto-aggro there without dragging any of the orcs or goblins from the tunnel.

Quite handy.

Har`Lak the Ancient drops both the 1st and 6th disk. When I got mine, he dropped both at the same time. I only killed him once so I dont know if this is common or not.
