This monster mission begins with Biski Teezlen at the Wayfarer's camp in the Butcherblock Mountains.

You say, 'Hail, Biski Teezlen'

Biski Teezlen says 'I see, you want goods in trade for your deeds, do you? Well, I may have something for you, but you will have to work for my treasures! Or perhaps you came to hear of my [travels] with Morden?'

You say, 'Your travels?'

Biski Teezlen says 'You may not know it, but I once travelled extensively with Morden. You haven't even heard half of the adventures we went on in those days. However, I expect you have heard of the [Grozmok Stone].'

You say, 'What is the Grozmok Stone?'

Biski Teezlen says 'A while back you may have heard the rumors of the stone being stolen from the trolls of Grobb by the trolls of the Broken Skull Clan. Those rumors were in truth fact, and shortly after this happened Morden and his companions heard those same tales. It was at that time that Morden made his [vow].'

You say, 'What vow?'

Biski Teezlen says 'He vowed to find the stone and hide it forever, in order to keep Norrath safe from the rule of evil gods. Since we were sailing near the Gulf of Gunthak at that time, Morden, Nedaria, and five others of us sailed into the gulf and set to retrieving the stone. I stayed back with our ship to keep watch while the others went off into the port. From there I kept track of their progress. If you would like, I can give you a [closer look] at their exploits there.'

You say, 'I would like a closer look.'

Biski Teezlen says 'I will prepare the enchantment for you. Prepare yourself and let me know when you are [ready] to begin.'

You have been assigned the task 'The Grozmok Stone'.

The stone should be on one of the ships in the harbor. Nedaria should be able to help detect where the trolls have stashed it. Help Morden retrieve the stone and return to the ship as quickly as possible. Make haste, or this will quickly become a death trap.

In this monster mission, you play Morden Rasp (65th level rogue, required) and Nedaria (65th level enchanter, required), as well as optional characters Yalienn Laeianse (65th level cleric), Mathii Fauris (65th level wizard), Daevyd Londayl (65th level warrior, Gaellane Ivyweaver (65th level druid) and Xyzeleuna Tu'Valzir (65th level warrior).

You say, 'Ready!'

LOADING, PLEASE WAIT...
You have entered Dulak's Harbor: The Grozmok Stone.

Biski Teezlen is at the zone-in and will port you out if you ask her to:

You say, 'Hail, Biski Teezlen'

Biski Teezlen says 'You must hurry. Retrieve the Grozmok Stone while the trolls are still unaware of our presence. I'll stay with the ship and have it ready when the time comes to [leave].'

Find the Grozmok Stone 0/1 (Dulak's Harbor)

Nedaria gets a spell that allows her to sense the location of the stone. The stone is inside of an iron bound chest, located on the upper deck of the Dandolek's Run.
Most pirates have very small aggro ranges, but any watchmen have normal aggro ranges. Being found by or engaging a watchman will cause two Broken Skull guardians to spawn nearby and assist, and the watchman will attempt to leave the fight to announce your presence, which will cause the mission to auto-fail. You can prevent this from happening by staying in combat with them, snaring them, and killing them. Beware the patrollers, they have a level advantage and hit significantly harder.
Take the stone, a shard of wisdom to become eligible for experience, and a loot item from the chest.

a Broken Skull watchman shouts 'Intruders! Guards get them!'
This triggers the additional guards.

A Broken Skull watchman says, 'You two kill them! I'll alert the captains!'
This is triggers the flight mechanic. You must snare and kill the watchman to prevent mission failure.

a Broken Skull watchman shouts 'Intruders at the docks! All ships to arms!'
Your shared task, 'The Grozmok Stone', has ended.

Escape with the Grozmok Stone to the Thorn of the White Rose.

Backtrack to the southwestern dock, where Biski is waiting for you. This will be slow, because the person carrying the stone will be snared, but the mission does not have respawns. To update this step, the person carrying the stone must tell Biski that they are ready to leave.

Do not allow Morden or Nedaria to die 0/1 (Dulak's Harbor)

If either Morden or Nedaria dies, the task auto-fails.

Hail Biski Teezlan.
She will say: "I see, you want goods in trade for your deeds, do you? Well, I may have something for you, but you will have to work for my treasures! Or perhaps you came to hear of my [travels] with Morden?"

You say: "I have heard of your travels."

She replies: "You may not know it, but I once travelled extensively with Morden. You haven't even heard half of the adventures we went on in those days. However, I expect you have heard of the [Grozmok Stone]."

You say: "What Grozmok Stone?"

She replies: "A while back you may have heard the rumours of the stone being stolen from the trolls of Grobb by the trolls of the Broken Skull Clan. Those rumours were in truth fact, and shortly after this happened Morden and his companions heard those same tales. It was at that time taht Morden made his [vow]."

You say: "What vow?"

She replies: "He vowed to find the stone and hide it forever, in order to keep Norrath safe from the rule of evil gods. If you would like, I can give you a [closer look] at their exploits there."

You say: "I would like a closer look."

You are assigned the task 'The Grozmok Stone'. You are required to choose both Morden Rasp and Nedaria as monsters for this mission. You can then choose any of the other characters.

You have two major objectives: The first is to find the stone. Nedaria gets a spell that allows her to sense the location of the stone. Each time we ran this quest, the hiding place seemed to be in roughly the same direction as the Dandolak's Run.

The second objective is to keep Nedaria and Morden Rasp alive. If either die, the quest will auto-fail.

The mobs seem to have a relatively small aggro radius, and we were able to sneak around or behind them often. Watchmen will call for back-up, and as many as 3 or 4 helpers can show up.

So far, we've run this mission with 4 players, and haven't made it to the chest yet. It seems to require a very delicate combination of sneaking and fighting that we haven't quite gotten yet.

I hope this helps.

Updated, thanks.
Solo?

Can this mission be done solo? I can't see how if two characters are required to begin the mission. I would also like to ask for those who have completed it, is this primarily a stealth mission? Do you need to fight your way to the boats or sneak. It would seem to me that you would need to sneak around as much as possible and only fight when necessary. Any details on this quest would be appreciated.
SoE fixed it

done this quest a couple times now, yet still havent beat it, but have gained some info on it. while killing you way though, the mobs dont seem to see invis except the watchmen, they see invis and when they are pulled they shout for guards and 2 guards will spawn and come to help out. the guards will spawn a ways off so have time to see them coming but even though they are coming straight for the group already they dont aggro other mobs as they come at you. be sure to not let the watchman get away, if he runs off cuz your dealing with the adds he will shout "intruders on the docks all ships to arms" or something like that and after a few times of him shouting that..... you lose because they all know your there. be sure to check your weapons when you start because they have some clicky effects that can really help out. for the AAs i noticed that even though i had maxed out the magic damage AA my nuke was still the same 972 it doesnt seem to have any effect at all so might just want to skip that and spend them elsewhere, but spell crits does work. the enchanter recieves a spell sense magic which points them into the direction of the chest with the stone, also the chanter does have a charm but it only lasts for 18 secs and has about a 3 min recast time on it. i hope this info helps out anyone who wishes to try this quest.

Also note that a druid is a must while this is nerfed. The cleric is worthless in this mm since they made the heals a passive skill by mistake (haha, funny sony.. really). Use the druid to heal and make sure to use the druids Malo that it gets. It helps so much so that the wizard can nuke without being resisted so much and the chanter can slow (i think that's what it was for :P can't remember much about it anymore) :) Was a fun mm, very very long tho because of not being able to use the cleric *peers over at sony, fix it please?*
Are we the first?

Me and some friends from guilds beat this MM despite the fact it's broken. We did it without the cleric. The drop was an aug called Etched Sapphire of the Infiltrator. I sent a picture to Alla, hopefully they'll get it posted soon enough. The aug was type 7, Sta: +7 Wis: +7 Int: +7 Agi: +7 Mana: +65 End: +65
usable in most slots.

Thanks to Isskal, Penvaryen, Cerfing, Aoifa, Mutt, and Smurfy all of Erollisi Marr Server :)

Updated, thanks. Please upload this item to Lucy.
Bugged. =(

Not sure if they have changed it recently, but this MM was bugged by not allowing the clerics and other classes to use thier heals and what not, instead, they act as if they are passive abilities. After a great many times of attempting this mission, I've deamed it pretty much impossible at this point until all the kinks are worked out by SoE, which as we all know, is not likely to be any time soon. Oh well <shrug>.
