Speaker Grayleaf may be found at +880, -305, +15. You must be at least 55th level and have at least indifferent faction (with which faction?) in order to request this task.
You say, 'Hail, Speaker Grayleaf' Speaker Grayleaf says 'A [curse] is settling in on these woods. Nothing can be done to stop this.' You say, 'What curse?' Speaker Grayleaf says 'Although it has not yet come to pass, I have heard of this curse whispered by the wind and the river. Our roots are too deep to leave. I understand you are from another time? Maybe you will be able to give our spirits [rest] after these woods are enveloped by sand.' You say, 'Rest?' Speaker Grayleaf says 'Good luck, ______. Here is what must be done.' You have been assigned the task 'Tree Heaven'. Deliver the Ancient Treant Spirit Seeds to the Dryad of Tunare - Plane of Growth Speaker Grayleaf says, 'Our spirits must be returned to the source. Take these seeds to the Dryad of Tunare in the Plane of Growth. She lives high in the ancient tree that towers above the rest. Look for it in the northeast. She will reward you for your journey. You receive a Pouch of Treant Spirit Seeds to deliver to the Dryad of Tunare in the Plane of Growth. The Dryad is on the high platform in the giant Tree of Tunare in the northeast part of the zone, at +1295, -1555, +205. Hand in the seeds to receive your reward. The dryad asks, 'What are these? By Tunare! The spirits of the ancient grove have returned at last. Bless you, traveler.' For those with some type of faction flaw with Speaker Grayleaf (I have dubious, don't know why, I've been good). Stand behind the Speaker, click on him, sneak, and then say rest...he should give you the choice of missions. I got them.
You don't have to sneak. He won't give you the task dialogue if you're dubious and hail him, but you will still get the task if you /say "rest".
It appears to me, and this is merely an observation on my part and carry's only what weight you place upon it, that the cloak of the spirit tracker, that can be acquired in Arcstone is far and away superior to this in all regards for casters and other classes.
And furthermore, with the Arcstone cloak, faction is not an issue and will not cause zone wide agro.
The waist item for melee's is very nice and is of a level on par with many other waist items of the lvl requirement range.

If the required level to use the item is level 66 then shouldn't this be a level 66 task instead of level 55?

My 67 necro was able to get the Tree Heaven quest in Elddar Forest,
but was seriously KOS in Plane of Growth. I tried using a rogue
shroud and sneak/hide first, no luck, instant death.
I took my shaman in to scout around -- Tunare's tree has two
entrances on the north side. One takes you inside the tree,
nothing there, the tree's hollow inside. The second entrance
is to the right of the other and takes you up a ramp that
spirals around the tree to the turn-in NPC.
So I took my necro to PoK, got some HP and spell resist buffs,
went to Wakening Land at the PoG zone-in tree, clicked mana skin
buff, clicked 18 second invulnerability, clicked tree to zone in,
and ran like hell. The invulnerabilty probably didn't help much
because I was using Philter of Wolf V from bazaar, and could
outrun almost everything.
Huge train, the PoGs and every mob in between zone-in and tree aggro.
I had planned on FDing half way there, but decided to run all the
way to tree first. This was a good choice, because FD did not work.
I lost 3/4 health because of that. I ran up the ramp and was able
to complete the turn-in with only a few seconds to spare.
So, a suicide run is possible. The cloak has decent stats for a
back slot, nothing in bazaar even comes close.

I am a 67th Ranger with great faction in PoG and I hail Speaker Grayleaf and get no response, I'm not invisable, and see no reason why it won't respond, is this bugged? Or an I doing something wrong?
the "ancient treant spirit seeds" (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=85640) are not used in this quest.
grayleaf gives you "pouch of treant spirit seeds" (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=85645) which is what you deliver to the dryad in PoG. the pouch is the only item involved in this quest

my faction with faydark champions is maxed, is that the faction i need? im a iksar bst so whats a good way to get this quest done?

My zerker w/ Rallos Zek religion is kos in PoG and a number of mobs see thru invis there. Anyone have any tips on getting up the tree to the dryad w/out dying?

Take a mage with you so he can CoH you to the fairy? If needed be rdy with feign death. And im not sure but can you do hand ins when you are FD? If that works, have mage run back from tree into a safe area CoH you agian and gate out.

did quest on my druid today and went through the hails and such so atm hes up and working right...

You can obtain this quest at level 55. Tried at level 54 and Speaker Grayleaf wouldn't give the quest.
Oh yeah you can get the quest at 55 but cannot use it till 66 I guess you could do it destroy it and go back but Im not sure.

After feeding Pandos 3,000 muffins to get to amiable I did the turn in in PoG using a 70 rogue shroud.
Loc of Dryad of tunare is 1297, -1554, 204 in the big tree with tunare in the NE.

I'm not quite sure what the faction is either, but I got the quest and did it all with my level 70 necromancer. Took a couple deaths to get it figured out in Plane of Growth, but overall a nice cloak.
Can't do this quest on apprehensive faction.
lol ok he wont talk to you when you hail him unless youre indifferent or better, but if you say "rest" he gives you the task!

I was dubiuos to him and I went behind him and said "rest" and he gave me task.
Which faction?
