This group task is the fifth in a series of five (following "Find Fibblebrap 4: The Korlach") and begins with Bellfast who is located in the southeastern part of Corathus Creep (vicinity of -710, +255).

The trigger for this task seems to be a simple hail (if this does not work for you, say "do it" for the task window):

You say, 'Hail, Bellfast'

Note: There are multiple versions of this task, depending on your group's average level. The only differences are the levels/difficulty of mobs and the quality of loot.

You have been assigned the task 'Find Fibblebrap 5: The Rescue'.
The direction to the entry to your instanced zone(s) have been marked on your compass.

The time has come to rescue Fibblebrap!

Fibblebrap is being held by The Hurt Machine, a giant creation of Taskmaster XVII. With a jaw of sharpened steel and lightning in its veins, The Hurt Machine is programmed for pure evil. Venture into the Creep Reapers' mine, find Fibblebrap and get him out of there.

Enter the Mines 0/1 (Corathus Creep)

LOADING, PLEASE WAIT...
You have entered The Corathus Mines.

NOTE: Trash mobs inside this zone have a very fast respawn timer (about six minutes).

Destroy 10 Creep Reaper Guards 0/10 (Corathus Lair)

Creep Reaper Guards are scattered throughout the zone in groups of twos.

Destroy the Hurt Machine 0/1 (Corathus Lair)

At the end of the tunnel in the northeastern part of the zone is The Hurt Machine. It hits for a max ~1,500 and single-target rampages (no AE ramp; no flurry; no enrage).

You have slain The Hurt Machine!
The Hurt Machine's corpse erupts in a shower of gears, springs, and . . . thingamajigs.
Your faction standing with Creep Reapers got worse.
Your faction standing with Expedition 328 got better.
Your faction standing with Sporali Collective got better.
Your faction standing with Deep Sporali got better.

Your task 'Find Fibblebrap 5: The Rescue' has been updated.

Recover Fibblebrap's Core 0/1 (Corathus Lair)

Fibblereaper's Core drops from The Hurt Machine and random mobs throughout the zone but the task will only update if looted from The Hurt Machine's corpse.

Your task 'Find Fibblebrap 5: The Rescue' has been updated.

Deliver the parts to Bellfast 0/1 (Corathus Creep)

Bellfast says 'You did it! You found Fibblebrap! Thank you so much! I shall begin work on his new body right away! Oh, I wish I had some way to thank you. Please, come back soon, I'm certain Fibblebrap will want to thank you himself.'

If the lever sticks just move the group to the back of the lift and it will go down automatically. The lever will work after this.

Even though the Fibblereaper's Core drops off several trash mobs throughout the zone only the one looted from The Hurt Machine would give the task update.

1- Last step of this task is "Deliver the Parts to Bellfast 0/1 Corathus Creep". You'll just have to give Bellfast "Fibblereaper's Core" ( an item which is commonly dropped by mobs inside this instance, especially by the named "the Hurt Machine" )
Bellfast says nothing when item is given.
"Your task 'Find Fibblebrap 5 : The Rescue' has been updated.
You gain experience!!"

2- With a lvl 67 group, The Hurt Machine conned DB, was fully slowable and rampages. It dropped : "Molt Covered Woven Gloves".

3- The zone is the same than in "Find Fibblebrap 1". It repops very quickly ( every 6 minutes ! ) so be prepared ...

4- "Desiccated Fungus Belt" appeared as a reward on our cursors in the end.

This mission is simple, you can invis all the way to the named from the start (great mission to farm for alts/bots). Follow the Railroad tracks to the left all the way to the far northeast room (circle on map). Click the elevator up with noone in your group on it so that it gets out of your way (i decided to do this because pathing in this instance sux and i had a couple times where elevator started moving mid-fight and instead of him going up with us he ran down the hall till we came back down then came back with all the mobs he had ran past). Kill "The Hurt Machine" loot fibble core (named is the chest loot) from here to farm drop task and repeat, or succor/run back to the first elevator kill the 2 mobs at bottom of first elevator 5times (6min repop and much easier then dealing with the pathing of mobs farther in, also the mobs u need are very scattered so you would end up here alot longer if u decide to plow). Then exit and hand the fibble core to bellfast to complete task.

imho the hardest part of this is completing the first 4 and having enough faction to request it but if u make it this far its a pretty easy mission.

Takes place in the same zone as did the Bellfast 1.

"The time has come to rescue Fibblebrap!

Fibblebrap is being held by The Hurt Machine, a giant creation of Taskmaster XVII. With a jaw of sharpened steel and lightning in its veins, The Hurt Machine was programmed for pure evil. Venture into the Creep Reapers' mine, find Fibblebrap and get him out of there."

6 hours on mission timer, first step out of 6 is to Enter the Mines. (From Corathus Creep.)

Will post more information when I do it.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to complete it as I was told right beforehand that it was not needed for the Mask, so the group decided to do Bellfast 3 (fixed finally!) instead.

Can just say that on this mission I can invis through the entire zone and not be seen by anything, so I can tell you that the Hurt Machine named is in the far NE corner of the zone. Good luck to those whom try it, it didn't seem to bad, especially easier time-wise than the Bellfast 1.

Oh, and The Hurt Machine was level 70, looked like a huge clockwork gnome.

I've done every mission except fibblebrap 5. And I just tried to get the mask.

No good. It is required.
Farmable
# Jul 31 2006 at 7:07 AM Rating: Decent
This is dodh is easily farmable, zone in with the group and invis up. Run all the way to the named mob and kill him, pull him off the lift first because if someone hits the level you'll get lots of adds. Kill and repeat. Named mob Rampages, doesn't have loads of HP, is nothing special.

He drops:

Dusty Chain Boots
Engraved Faceplate
Fiebing Dyed Leather Gloves
Worn Plate Bracer
Woven Fungus Armwraps

Can you help us fill in the gaps in information about this task listed above in the write-up? We particularly need logs and/or screenshots.

Thanks in advance.
