This raid task begins with Captain Aleeth Zyrv (click for map image) in the Dark Reign camp of the Lavastorm Mountains. Pre-requisites for requesting this task: - Minimum 6 players; maximum 24 players - Minimum "warmly" faction with Dark Reign - Completion of all Tier 4 tasks and flags You say, 'Hail, Captain Aleeth Zyrv' Captain Aleeth Zyrv says 'You must search the blackest recesses of your heart to serve us well, _____. Our endeavors are not for the frail.' You have been assigned the task 'The Curse of Ju`rek'. There is a particularly strong drake within the Nest. It seems when the weak hatchlings were corrupted, this one managed to draw more power within himself and grow strong. Defeat this drake so that we may know more of this power. Task Steps Touch the portal to the Nest 0/1 (The Broodlands) Confront Ju`rek the Corrupted 0/1 (The Accursed Nest) TASK LOCKS HERE Kill Ju`rek the Corrupted 0/1 (The Accursed Nest) The Event The entrance to the instance is in the southeastern part of the Broodlands. Ju`rek the Corrupted hits for a max ~2,300; flurries; has ~545,000 hitpoints; and casts two spells: Decaying Stench: PB AE 100', Disease (-600) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1800 per tick 2: Increase Disease Counter by 45 Ju'Ok's Cry: Targeted AE 100', Poison (-550) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1500 2: Stun (10.00 sec) Also, Ju`rek spawns multiple adds called "a harsh wind" in waves as its health goes down. These proc "Freezing Blast"; have relatively few hitpoints; and are mezzable, but not stunnable: Freezing Blast: PB AE 100', Magic (-300) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 1000 2: Decrease Movement by 70% Completion & Loot Kill Ju`rek the Corrupted to complete the task: Ju`rek the Corrupted has been slain by ______! Ju`rek the Corrupted's corpse falls to the ground, its massive wings beating no more. Your faction standing with Cursed Drakes got worse. Your faction standing with Vishimtar got worse. He has been slain. You found nothing? How worthless. I was able to request this with a group of six characters. No raid required. Only two characters logged in.

OK, forgot I had 3 characters that were logged out in the group too. Never had to log them back in, was able to request with just 3 logged in, and complete the raid.

Captain Aleeth Zyrv gives this quest. Also, the final piece of the death message (quest completion) is, "He has been slain. You found nothing? How worthless."
