This quest is given by various NPCs, depending on who controls the stronghold, including Skald Jergald, "a dark initiate," "a headhunter," and "a farspirit" (The Ragefang). The NPC is non-KoS and is located just beyond the door to the stronghold.

You may get the task after having looted the items involved. The only step involved in the actual task is delivery.

Deliver 4 Shiliskin Feeding Tentacles (0/4) - Sverag, Stronghold of Rage

Heads, limbs, flesh! Bring whatever it takes to show me that you are willing to fight against our enemy!

Upon turning in four Shiliskin Feeding Tentacles, you receive your class spell:

Bard - Spell: Arcane Aria

Berserker - Skill: Bloodthirst
Cleric - Spell: Elixir of Divinity
Druid - Spell: Barkspur
Enchanter - Spell: Ward of Bedazzlement
Magician - Spell: Spear of Ro
Monk - Skill: Heel of Kanji

Controlling Faction in Stronghold
# Jan 27 2007 at 5:49 AM Rating: Decent
As good luck would have it, I have four tentacles to give in for my spell.

/happy dance

But how can I tell who's currently in command of the stronghold without actually going inside? Do those in command cycle every so often? And are there hordes of unjustifyably angry SEE INVIS mobs waiting outside to steal my lunch money? I want to avoid trying to sneak my way past them only to have to wait an unknown amount of time waiting for Godot.

thx

Ok so i was told about this quest and the way i am seeing it is there are chances of different types of mobs being in the entrance to sverag. well i was told to collect tentacles so i did and took them to turn them in and there were alot of shilliskin guys in there and the one i do turn in to was an acolyte a red con to 70. anyhow he would not give me the task for tentacles nor take them i think it was cuz i had killed his own race to recieve them... so i am guessing i need to wait to see if another guy spawns in his place or does anyone have any advice for me?

Wait for control of severag to shift to a different race, then get the quest, and turn in.
Other faction.

When The Ragefang control the stronghold a red con indifferent mob is just beyond the door.

"Hail, a farspirit"

a farspirit says, "I shall only hold my rage back if you [can prove] your worth"

choose task from list. Turn in, received skill book.

This quest resulted in my 70 clerics 70 spell "elixir of divinity" upon turn in (she has not completed saga skins)
I assume all the other "collect 4" tasks also result in a spell if you have yet to complete saga skins

God, you really need to get a life. I found all these little quests helpful, as i actually kill in these zones, you however, need to go back to Echo Caverns and get level 40, Come back when you get a real toon!

Well... if this contribution of mine (and you'll see my name a lot on this site, check all the MPG trials and most of the post-Tacvi end game encounters - I've even been mentioned on the front page of Alla's a few times) is that trivial and useless why didn't *you* submit the complete info on these quests before I did these worthless submissions when I noticed they weren't listed at all ?

I deeply apologize for not having finished all of those quests and for my mistake in supposing giving people a start might be worthwhile.

My main impetus is improving this site cause I love this game and used this site to my advantage for over 6 years now. The little amount of renown is a bonus, albeit a welcome one :P

Don't let that guy get to you. The vast majority of people who use this site appreciate the time you took, and know that having even a little information, and a spot to post updates in, is better than having nothing.

Plus the irony of his posting a useless post, calling your post useless, is just too funny.

are you really that stupid? Por zones and the associated quests are still very foggy. this person was one of the first people to hail this npc and by listing the quests they give, now people who loot one of these items can some kind of reference as to what its for and maybe it can be solved when people start reading and doing it. and you! you worthless hipocrit you are flamming this person saying "you just want to see your name on the internet" blah blah blah and then you post on every single one of the quests flaming them, get a life sir/maddam.
