Whoever said this was a solo encounter is retarded. Maybe if you were level 80 with 25k hitpoints. Which naturally is not happening for some time.
Max hit of 1696 on 75 Monk with max AA. Resisted the single FD every time, but the AE stun is basically what got me, Cleric unable to consistently heal.

Sharlash is actually in Relic, not Arcstone.

The quest is given to you in Arcstone, and carried out in Relic.
Although, I guess Sharlash the Ninth Born might have visited Arcstone in the past in order to create the Colossus of Skylance.

Sharlash is easily one-groupable when you figured out how. He is accompanied by his pet Thunderstorm - not splitable.
He has AE stun and PB AE FD - so plan accordingly.
