Event Coordinator Baublie Diggs says 'I can give you a test of your tradeskill abilities in any of eleven different tradeskills. I can test you on [alchemy], [baking], [brewing], [fletching], [jewelry] making, [poison] making, [pottery], [smithing], spell [research], [tailoring], or [tinkering].' You say, 'Smithing.' She will assign you a task dependent on your skill. The levels appear to be Beginner (50-99), Apprentice (100-149), Freshman (150-199), Journeyman (200-249), Expert (250-299), Master (300). You have been assigned the task 'Master Smith Test'. Event Coordinator Baublie Diggs says 'Ok take this list, make the recipes on it, and give them to the Judge for Approval. You have been given: Master Smith Scorecard Give the scorecard to Baublie. Event Coordinator Baublie Diggs says 'Congratulations! That was great work. This trophy is brand new and has yet to evolve. First take your trophy in either your left or right hand then take the certificate that I am also giving you and put it in the appropriate tradeskill container and your trophy will evolve to the proper level for the test you have taken.' You receive the Beginner Smith Trophy and a Master Smith Certificate. Equip the trophy, then combine the certificate by itself in a forge and your trophy will evolve to a Master Smith Trophy. The trophies are evolving items that also evolve as you craft recipes within a certain non-trivial range (reportedly 100) above your current skill level. Once you pass into the next skill level bracket, the trophy should evolve soon afterward. The trophies can also summon weight-reducing bags like the older trophies. When you take these bags to Jolum in the Bazaar, you get an Essence, and can combine the Essence in a forge to get a permanent weight-reducing bag specific to smithing. On a 512 trivial item. I went up 1 percent every 7.5 successful combines.
I had this done after a few hours of farming. The fletching test, on the other hand, took me several days of farming to get 2 drops, spread out over several weeks.
Wish I had done the trophy quests early!

Can you just buy the items and give them to him?
No you can't, the first half of the quest is to craft the items, the delivery options only ungrey after you actually craft those items in the forge.

RE: just a small correction, the step for "create 80 forged velium shuriken" actually has to be done 4 times. (so in essence you have to make 320 :\
I do not believe that is correct, as I recall.
The Shurikens are made 20 at a time -- and four combines make the 80 -- thus the four steps.
It isn't 80 Shurikens four times -- it is four combines period (making the 80).

Turn in 4 Velium Forged Shurikens to the Judge.
