Once you have your Fatestealer (rogue epic 1.5), find and hail Lirprin in Nedaria's Landing.

You say, 'Hail, Lirprin, Head of Affairs'

Lirprin, Head of Affairs says 'I'm sure Stanos has already briefed you on his concerns: An assassin is planning to start a war between the Dragorn and the Wayfarer's by offing a well-respected member of their society and making it look like it was us. This is true. I've verified the information myself. What Stanos doesn't know, and I'm embarrassed to admit . . . It's one of my people that's behind it all.' He fumes, and smashes his left fist into his opposite palm. 'Bah. If I ever get my hands on the scoundrel! If I even knew WHICH one it was! We've had a disturbing number of our rank go 'deserter' since my group's last visit to the Realms of Discord. Haven't heard from some of my members in days, weeks, or months. It's one of those scumbags. I'd bet my [bronze breastplate] that it's either [Lairyn Debeian], [Wren Simsy], [Longarm Larithim], [Durgin Skell] or [Keetra the Lost]. If you can prove without a shadow of a doubt, please tell me you [know who is guilty].'

This opens a task in which you must confront the deserters. You can do the first four in any order.

They are Lairyn Debeian (in the Gulf of Gunthak), Longarm Larithim (in Iceclad), Durgin Skell (in Miragul's Menagerie), and Keetra the Lost (in the Bloodfields). Wren Simsy is the guilty party, but you must prove the other four are innocent before moving on to her.

You say, 'Your bronze breastplate, Lirprin?'

Lirprin, Head of Affairs sighs, 'I'm not really wearing a bronze breastplate, _____. That's what we like to call a 'figure of speech'.'

Lairyn Debeian

You say, 'Who is Lairyn Debeian?'

Lirprin, Head of Affairs says 'Yes, Lairyn Debeian. Does his name sound familiar to you? It should - that's Nedaria's brother. He left my side long ago to research new magics, and for the better part of the years he kept in touch. We had been corresponding by mail. The last letter I received from him was written in a desperate scrawl. His tone was fearful and angry, which isn't like him at all. He spoke of shadows and hearing voices in his head. I'm afraid he may have done something rash. Something horrible. Don't let his frail appearance fool you, Atwa. He's from the same blood as Nedaria and very powerful. If you find him, drop my name. Let him know Lirprin sent you and see if he can explain his odd behavior.'

Take 1-2 groups to the Gulf of Gunthak and locate Lairyn Debeian in the second hut behind the lighthouse.

You say, 'Hail, Lairyn Debeian'

Lairyn Debeian stares at you directly in the eyes. 'Greetings, _____. I suppose you're here like everyone else in search of fame and fortune. Good luck to you, and good day. I have many things to attend to.'

You say, 'Liprin sent me'

Lairyn Debeian is disturbingly pale for an Erudite. He looks terribly frightened. 'They'll return any moment! The shadows are everywhere, always watching . . . Waiting for me to rest so they can kill me. I try to fight them off but they always return. They whisper to me when I am all alone. No one else in the gulf believes me. You must help! Please believe that what I say is true! Oh no, here they come - please don't let the shadows take me away!'

Lairyn runs to the beach to approximate location -490, -320.

Lairyn shouts, 'They're still following me! Help!'
a shadowed enforcer says 'Your time has come, Lairyn!'
a shadowed thug says 'Your time has come, Lairyn!'
a shadowed assassin says 'Your time has come, Lairyn!'

There are five waves of shadowed men which you need to protect Lairyn from. There are three per wave. Assassins are mezzable while thugs and enforcers are not. They each hit for up to 785 and have no other special abilities. Most of them drop healing potions which can be given to Lairyn to keep him alive.

a shadowed assassin's corpse says 'It's still too late to stop our plans. . .'
Lairyn Debeian says 'Oh no . . . I'd recognize the echo of those footfalls anywhere. That sounds like Krill . . .'

The final wave is Krill the Backbleeder, who hits for an average of 820, and up to 1669. Kill him and loot the Bloodied Torn Parchment and Krill's Head.

Lairyn Debeian says 'For my own knowledge and to bring some closure to this terror, can you bring me his head? I want to see with my own eyes. I need to know if it was him.'

Give Krill's Head to Lairyn.

Lairyn Debeian adjusts his spectacles and peers at the head, 'True enough. This is a Wayfarer . . . Errr, was at one time. I imagine he renounced his membership in the Brotherhood sometime before he took up a career of tormenting a poor scholar. They must have been trying to get to Nedaria by coming after me. I am famliar with Krill and he is a follower, not a leader. Someone else is the mastermind behind this - a person with access to magical disguises to hide their identity. Lirprin must know of this at once, _____.'

This confirms Lairyn's innocence. Head back to Nedaria's Landing and give Lirprin the Bloodied Torn Parchment. This narrows the field down a bit.

Longarm Larithim

You say, 'Who is Longarm?'

Lirprin, Head of Affairs says 'Bah, just hearing his name is like hearing the screech of a harpy. The little twerp didn't care for the dangerous environment of Kuaa and deserted us without so much as a goodbye. This is the kind of behavior I have to deal with on a daily basis, and what's going to be the death of me. I swear I'll throw shackles on the next walking panic attack that whimpers about wanting to go back to their home. It goes without saying that Larithim was a roguish type and I wouldn't put it past him to do something rash and stupid. Someone overheard him saying he'd do anything to send us packing back to Norrath, for good. Starting a war with the Dragorn would fit that bill. Who knows what hole Larithim's cowering in now. There are a lot of hiding spots for a fainthearted three-foot tall gnome. If you find him, drop my name. Let him know Lirprin sent you and see if he can explain his desertion.'

Take a raid force (30-36 recommended) to Iceclad Ocean, find Lookout Larithim in the pirate camp and hail him.

You say, 'Liprin sent me'

Lookout Larithim says 'Lirprin sent ye, did he mate? I was beginnin' ta wonder when the perils of me dastardly mutiny would catch up with me. Tis my shame, and I'll shoulder the burden 'til the day I rest at the bottom of the ocean. To tell ye the truth Cap'n Lirprin treated us alright, but te be away from ship n' sail was murder. I'd rather be scrapin' barnacles for all eternity than spend another moment in yon Discord Plane. Only, well, it seems that me ship and sail are gone again.' Larithim sighs dramatically, and waits for the effect to sink in before continuing. 'Would ye like ta [hear the tale], landlubber? Tis guaranteed to bring a tear ta the eye o' even the saltiest sea dog. Arrrr.'

You say, 'I'd like to hear the tale'

Lookout Larithim says 'Allow me te paint ye the picture, Sanam, of a story so strange and frightenin'! Twasn't more than a fortnight followin' my glorious return to plunderin'. I was bringin' me ship, Glaciersmash, into the coast ye see before ya now. The weather was cruel and unrelentin'. Waves they were crashin' up against the port bow.' He motions with his arms to indicate large waves, and makes a shrill blowing sound to imitate the wind. 'Hoist the main sail, tug the riggin's and man the longboats men, says I. That's when a twisting tentacle as thick as yer leg stretched out from the waters and latched ahold of the main mast! Guess ye [what happened then]?'

You say, 'What happened then?'

Lookout Larithim says 'Arrr. The boat she tipped and groaned, wood bucklin' and rope snappin'. My precious cargo of metal alloy spilled overboard. Before we knew it, she capsized like a maiden's . . . Wait, is that . . .? Well I'll be a crusty barnacle. Ye see that there, Sanam!? NO, not the tower. There it is again - the scurvy squid has returned. IT BE THE POLAR KRAKEN! Get out there and harpoon its backside, Sanam. I'll keep a sharp lookout here and we'll split the booty. The alloy will oxidize right quick if ye expose it to the air - stash it in here and bring it back te me.'

You receive a four-slot container named Air-Tight Strongbox. A Polar Kraken spawns in the water directly south of Larithim (approximate location +2850, +760).

The Polar Kraken hits for ~2000 and AE rampages for ~500. It has casts the spells Blinding Tentacle (single target DD), Squid's Ink (single target blind), and Binding Tentacle (an AE DD for 2500 and snare).

It also spawns mezzable Kraklings, four at a time.

Kill the Polar Kraken and loot the Lump of Raw Alloy (a chest spawns). Combine the alloy in the container to produce Strongbox Full of Alloy. Give this to the lookout and receive Strongbox Half Full of Velixite. This confirms his innocence.

Durgin Skell

Form a raid with up to 36 people and situate them in Everfrost. You must have at least 10 people in the raid to do this, and up to a maximum of 36 -- the more the better.

You say, 'Who is Durgin?'

Lirprin, Head of Affairs says 'I've had the pleasure of serving with a beastlord named Sharalla for quite awhile. For years, she was a reliable friend and companion. At one point I nearly asked her to become my betrothed - we were that close. However, things changed the moment she met that scoundrel Durgin Skell. Her dedication to the Wayfarer's cause wavered noticably whenever he was about. Last time I saw them, Durgin and Sharalla were preparing for [some foolish expedition]. They took a cadre of my best people, ventured off in search a 'great threat' to Norrath and haven't been seen since. I trust Durgin about as far as I can pitch an orc. There's a good chance he's used his silver tongue and charismatic appearance to misguide his group into doing something foolish. If you find him, drop my name. Let him know Lirprin sent you and see if he can explain what he's been up to.'

You say, 'Some foolish expedition?'

Lirprin, Head of Affairs says 'Yes, foolish indeed. He kept mentioning something about a frozen underground cavern below Everfrost and the nightmarish creatures that resided within. We had heard rumors of such a place, but I wouldn't give them much credibility. They're only rumors, after all.'

You are assigned an expedition in to Miragul's Menagerie in Everfrost.

Upon zoning in, your raid will be rushed by some spiders. Nothing special about them; they hit for ~900. Kill them and move into the first hall. This will trigger the goblin event. Ignore the mass amount of green-con goblins attacking you and find the horde leaders. There are two of them which need to be killed. Kill them, and the green-con goblins despawn.

Clear your way to Durgin Skell. Follow his dialogue and receive four tasks to be completed within the expedition. Each of these tasks is an event.

Task 1: one involves the sundering sludge in the room past Durgin. Kill off the blobs in the surrounding rooms and then kill the sundering sludge. Upon its death, it will split into four severing sludges. Each of those four will split into an additional four - slippery sludges. Be mindful about your kill order here. Each blob hits for ~1500 and flurries. Upon killing the last one, the task updates.

Task 2: involves killing four skeletons. They hit for ~1100.
- Kill each of the "a chromatic bonewalker" skeletons until they become "an icy bonewalker"
- The chromatic bonewalkers will cycle through different colors. Red is the last color before it becomes "an icy bonewalker"
- Once all 4 skeletons are "an icy bonewalker", they will all despawn and the event is successful

Task 3: involves the slaying of Marrow the Broken, who hits for ~1800 and rampages. He also has an AE (named what?) and spawns adds (named what?). Kill him to update your task window.

Task 4: involves protecting Durgin's love. Spread your raid about the room and then hail the warder in the room to spawn the event. Mobs spawn, attempting to defile Sharalla's corpse. Prevent this from happening by killing them. This completes the tasks.

Return to Durgin and hail him. Tell Durgin your 'progress' to spawn the final boss of the zone, Laskuth the Colossus who is located to the north. Levitate yourselves as he is located on ice near a pit. He hits for ~2280 and has a single-target banishment (to an area not far from the fight). He also uses the spells Crystal Shield (chance to reflect spells by 25%) and Ice Rain. He has about 650k HPs. Killing him lowers your faction with the "Lost Minions of Miragul".

After killing Laskuth the Colossus, say to Durgin "Lirprin sent me". This confirms his innocence. This also spawns a chest.

You say, 'Lirprin sent me'

Durgin Skell sighs, 'There's no need to mince words "player name". I have no quarrel with Lirprin, but unfortunately the reverse is not also true. The man is undoubtedly angry with me. He will never forgive me for courting Sharalla and does not realize that it was her choice. She loved me, and not him. His paranoia and overbearing attitude, and eventually the outright abuse of his leadership position merely pushed her away. Now that she has fallen in the valiant service of the Brotherhood there is no further need for his insecurity.'
You have confirmed Durgin's innocence.

Keetra the Lost

You say, 'Who is Keetra the Lost?'

Lirprin, Head of Affairs says ''Keetra the Lost' is right. She was simply 'Keetra' until we discovered her uncanny knack for straying off the beaten path. We couldn't travel half a mile without having to double back to find Keetra. You don't want to know how many times we sent a search team to locate her sorry hide. What I need to know is, was this simply absent-minded disorientation or was she feigning ignorance, trying to escape? I'm inclined to say it was the former, but with this war on the horizon we can't be too careful. Having another thief slip out of sight is not something we can afford to ignore. If you find her, drop my name. Let her know Lirprin sent you and see if she can explain where she's been.'

Take 1-3 groups to the Bloodfields and do the reclusive girplan event. The girplan is located in the northern caves. It hits for ~1000 and AE gravity fluxxes for ~1500. Kill this to spawn another girplan elsewhere in the zone (Rolthee Roundbelly is one of them) (have a tracker handy). Do this three or four times to spawn Myrhee the Flighty (who has a short despawn time, so engage pronto), who hits for ~1600 and casts the spell Crushing Blow. He also memblurs himself.

If "a reclusive girplan" is not up, you can trigger him by turning in 4 pieces to Caller Donivin. (neg 570 neg 1145)

4 drops: random from Bloodfield mobs.
Bucket Mute
Brass Mouthpiece
Thin Leader Strap
Polished Bone Horn

Killing Myrhee spawns Keetra the Lost in the back of the cave. Tell her that Lirprin sent you. This confirms her innocence and spawns a chest.

Wren Simsy

You say, 'Hail, Lirprin, Head of Affairs'

You say, 'Who is Wren Simsy?'

Lirprin, Head of Affairs says 'Ah, Wren. Mistress of disguise and as deadly as they come. She always obeyed orders and was ruthlessly efficient in her tasks, but I've got this feeling that what she did for the Brotherhood was done begrudgingly. That is to say, I think she was biding her time waiting for an opportunity to leave. And leave she did. She and some of the impressionable members of my group disappeared a few weeks ago. In typical rogue-like fashion, they made off with most of our supplies, too. The more unsavory Wayfarer pledges were quite taken with her striking beauty and her skill with a blade. I imagine they'd follow her anywhere. If you find her, drop my name. Let her know Lirprin sent you and see if she can explain her disappearance and theft.'

Head to the Ruined City of Dranik with only four people. (If you bring more, bad things may happen..) Find Daignal the Revered behind the Bridge Keeper.

Follow the dialogue and say 'an assassin plans on killing you Daignal'

Wren Simsy spawns and assassinates Daignal. You must now kill Wren, who hits for ~2200 and spawns two shadowed assassins which hit for ~1500 (mezzable?).

Kill Wren and loot Wren's Fatestealer.

You will need to loot a Globe of Discordant Energy from the Asylum of Anguish. After doing so, head to Smith Dandi in Nedaria's Landing.

You say, 'Hail, Smith Dandi'

Smith Dandi wipes her sooty hands on her apron and smiles at you. 'So, it looks as if you'll need the services of Smith Dandi once again. I was hoping you'd stop by soon so we could talk. Fantastic work clearing the names of those innocent Wayfarers. I knew them all personally and they weren't bad folk. It's a shame Lirprin can be so quick to judge. Now, something tells me you're looking to get that blade of yours improved. Let's see if you have what we need. . .'

From the freezing depths of Iceclad, you have recovered a lump of Velixite alloy.
You have slain Wren Simsy and recovered her blade, which courses with discordant energy.
From the deadly realm of Mata Muram himself, you have recovered a source of discordant energy.

Smith Dandi says 'Seems you're all ready to craft the blade. We'll need the Velixite alloy, the weapon I crafted for you last time, an example of someone else's weapon that I can use for a reference, and a source of pure discordant energy. Show those items to Lirprin and we'll get started!'

Head over to to Lirprin and give him your Fatestealer, the Globe of Discordant Energy, Wren's Fatestealer and the Strongbox Half Full of Velixite.

Receive 10AAs and your epic 2.0, Nightshade, Blade of Entropy.

You have completed achievement:Epic 2.0

You say, 'Hail, Lirprin, Head of Affairs'

Lirprin, Head of Affairs says, 'We're done now, no more favors. My obligation to assist you has been fulfilled. If I can be frank, ---- , I no longer have the stomach for this job. I've compromised so many of my morals, I've lost touch with what's truly important. I've lost touch with who I am. Would my guildmaster be proud of what I've done? Do I even meet the standards of a paladin anymore?' He sighs, 'To hell with the Wayfarer's! I'm tending my resignation as Head of Affairs and returning to my people, who truly need me.'

You say, 'Hail, Smith Dandi'

Smith Dandi greets you, though her typically cheerful disposition has been replaced by a somber one, 'Hold tight to that dagger, ----. You might need it soon. There are rumors of a war on the horizon...'

Miraguls' Maw

Right after finishing Fatestealer I actually didn't run off like I did with the other rogues that completed it. I hailed Lirpin with 4 members left of the 6 member raid for Plane of Hate and Lanys and followed the prompts and was surprised to have the Miraguls' Maw adventure window pop up.

Don't forget to do the Head turn in in Gulf of Gunthank. I forgot to, made it to Wren and Wren wouldn't spawn... Looked back through quest and noticed head in my inventory. Honestly, this quest isn't hard if you are above the Era. It looks complicated on the writeups, but in practice it can be done in a couple hours.

THIS. Thank you.
Reclusive Girplan / Keetra the Lost - changed maybe

So when I got to this part I did the four turn-ins to pop a reclusive girplan at the starting point tunnel. Then the second reclusive girplan popped in the tunnel (same tunnel Keetra eventually pops in) then the third reclusive girplan pops in the tunnel that starts/ends from the bridge. That was it...three kills. Here is what was different. At this point Rothlee Roundbellow pops in the tunnel (same as second reclusive / Keetra). After killing him Keetra pops and you can get the emote once you say you "Lirprin sent me" to Keetra. Never spawned Myrhee the Flighty but it worked.

LDoN Raid- Skeleton Event

1 post
Have seen so much WRONG information about the skeletons in the LDoN raid event. There is no need to "balance" or kill the red skeletons simultaneously. The mechanic is simple. Confirmed this today:

- Kill each of the "a chromatic bonewalker" skeletons until they become "an icy bonewalker"
- The chromatic bonewalkers will cycle through different colors. Red is the last color before it becomes "an icy bonewalker"
- Once all 4 skeletons are "an icy bonewalker", they will all despawn and the event is successful

This is correct and confirmed. The only clarification would be to the last bullet:

Once all 4 skeletons are "an icy bonewalker" at the same time, they will despawn and the task will be completed.

Thanks Yakita for clarifying how to do this correctly.

Keetra the Lost

You say, 'Who is Keetra the Lost?'

Take 1-3 groups to the Bloodfields and do the reclusive girplan event. The girplan is located in the northern caves. It hits for ~1000 and AE gravity fluxxes for ~1500. Kill this to spawn another girplan elsewhere in the zone (have a tracker handy). Do this three or four times to spawn Myrhee the Flighty

I killed the reclusive Girplain and then no Myrhee the Flightly spanwed. Instead, a new Girplain named Rolthee Roundbelly spanwed where Myrhee would have spawned. I killed Rolthee and then Keetra spawned like she is supposed too and I was able to complete proving Keetra's innocence.

Is the a reclusive girplan event in The Bloodfields bugged? I am only able to get three to spawn after turning in the items to Caller Donivin, after I killed the three one in north cave, one in cave near Caller Donivin and the third spawned in the cave near the east fort and no spawn of Myrhee the Flighty. Not sure if I am missing something, I had a ranger on to track and those were the only ones to spawn.

I'm on a TLP, so if you aren't doing an uber smackdown on Wren here are some things that I found.

Daginal will re-pop and be available right after Wren and guards de-pop if you fail.
The lvl 70 shaman PBAE slow spell will land on Wren and the guards. I wasn't able to land other slows probably based on magic resists.
I was able to loot Wren's dagger but died to the guards and still was still able to do all the final turn-in's.

Hope that helps.

Just a note: if you're trying to solo the Miragul raid with a high level rogue, the skeletons you need to balance have very low hitpoints for each phase. I constantly found that a single backstab riposte or Banestrike would reset them.

Ultimately, I ended up having a lvl 85 druid hold their aggro while swapping my mainhand out for a non-damage item and then slowly beating each down with offhand attacks. Even at that, I still had to luck out on Banestrike not proc'ing.

Banestrike procs and backstab ripostes make that very difficult to solo at 110.

1) You don't need to loot a note of the corpse, or give it to Durgin. Just say "Lirprin sent me" and you're good.

2) You don't need to return to Lirprin or give him anything.

3) Here's the dialogue with Durgin after killing Laskuth the Colossus:

[Mon Jun 20 08:14:57 2016] You say, 'Lirprin sent me'
[Mon Jun 20 08:14:58 2016] Durgin Skell sighs, 'There's no need to mince words Thufirr. I have no quarrel with Lirprin, but unfortunately the reverse is not also true.

[Mon Jun 20 08:14:58 2016] You have confirmed Durgin's innocence.

Durgin/ skellys

Just finished 2.0 on my rogue tonight and thought I would add a couple of comments on Durgin's skeleton task-
If you are not familiar with the task/doing it for the first time then a tracker is helpful. The one thing about the skeletons that I did not see mentioned in the comments
is that they were not the same color to start with. For me 2 of them started out red, one was brown and one was white and killing a red one early immediately respawned a white or a brown
one and also sometimes changed one of the other chromatic skeletons to either white or brown. Since I was doing all the killing on my ranger, I had to kill all the non red ones first and then try
to get them all down at the same time. I was able to get them all below 10% at the same time and that seemed to do the trick, even though they didn't all die at the same time. Once the last one died the task updated.

General Comments

Okay, I just finished this and I wanted to comment on a few things. During this time I was between the levels 86-88.

For Lairyn, an 85 bard helped me and we had no problem with the task. We just gave heal pots to him on the side because it gives small amounts of exp (negligible). There are big enough breaks in between waves that he heals up fine. He does run off swimming through the water when you initiate things with him, so have the proper loc marked on your map or be good at swimming (it's a long swim, I really suggest having your swimming up.) iirc there's either a long gap in time after he gets to the beach or you have to hail him, before the mobs start coming in.

For the Longarm raid, a 100 cleric helped me, but that was by no means necessary. However, we used his caster merc, so the kraken went down very fast. You could probably do this with one or two more 85ish characters. It would be much slower tho, and one should be a decent healer. It was very easy with the group I had.

For Keetra, I had the same 85 bard with me to track. Mobs were no problem for us, and we were able to track the flighty guy down before he despawned. A lot of the mobs spawned in the tunnels but not in one of the cases. To reiterate what has been posted prior, you can either just find the first elusive girplan up, or you can do a turn in from some items that drop in zone. (the rogue needs to loot them) Since I didn't attempt the turn in and the mob was up, I don't know anything about that. Don't bother with this without a tracker tho.

For Durgin, I had a 100 cleric with me. we both dps'd and tanked and this is where I think the most commentary needs to be added. The sludge was no problem for us and it behaved as written. You don't really get an idea where this stuff is until you hunt around the zone. I can't even recall where we found the sludge, and we didn't get any notice that stuff had been triggered when we went through the dialogue with dirgen. You do get a notice every time you complete one of the four tasks tho. (I have no idea what happens in a situation where you fail to protect his love's body, you may have to do it over.) Marrow the Broken was an easy fight, straight forward, no problems.

The four skeletons is really where it varied. Basically the skeletons you are looking for are chromatic skeletons, not the rime-bone skeletons (just kill those off) they start off white, then become brown, then become red (they change each time you kill them.) That's what is meant when the skeletons are referred to as red, they are actually red, not in the red health wise, which is what I thought. However, we got them all very low and the cleric ae'd. Cleric AEs aren't exactly stupendous and one of them survived, the others repopped as white skeletons again. At that point, the other red skeleton died, and it completed the task. They didn't even close to all die at once.

Defending the body, we had about 3 or 4 mobs pop directly on the corpse when we hailed the warder, they got to chew on her a little bit (it was in yellow text, forget the exact words), which made me worry we had failed, but after they were dead 1 or 2 more mobs spawned, we killed them, and we got the notice that we had succeeded. We didn't really need anyone spread out throughout the room. Also, we both sat on the corpse to try to gain aggro right away, and that worked somewhat, but not entirely.

Regarding the final boss, you don't technically need lev if for some reason you have no way to get it, but you get ported over/into a pit that you have to crawl out of and it's a whole lot easier if you are levved above the pit and can just run directly back to the mob. The porting was annoying but it was still a pretty easy kill.

I'm not actually sure if you even need to loot the note off the final boss. I did, but he wouldn't take it and Lirprin wouldn't take it. Saying "lirprin sent me" pretty much ended the encounter at that point and we gated out.

I didn't even talk to lirprin before going to kill Wren. Actually I assassinated her when we fought her, so she died pretty fast. After the dialogue with daignal, when she appeared, she just stood there until I hailed her, then she offed him. Pretty sure you could solo this at around 85 with no problem (I -think- even an apprentice merc could heal, but I use a j5 so not sure)

Back to Lirprin. Hail the smith lady to check in (unsure if this is necessary) then, the ONLY things you need to hand in to Lirprin are your Fatestealer, the Globe of Discordant Energy, Wren's Fatestealer and the Strongbox Half Full of Velixite.

Any attempts to hand any of the other stray objects in resulted in them getting handed back. I held onto them tho, just in case.

Oh I forgot to mention, as has been stated previously, offline characters count towards the 6 you need for the dirgen raid. If they are offline it doesn't matter what level they are. So you could technically just use newly made alts, add each one to the group then log it off, and then do the expedition. Heck, if you're level 100, you could probably solo the whole thing. My cleric and I just used alts we played periodically, 2 of which were 60 and 65.

Before anyone gets upset that I am saying this is easy, obviously the whole thing, especially the dirgen raid, would have been crazy at the appropriate level/gear. I wish I could have experienced it that way tbh.
ldon skellies
# Jul 28 2012 at 4:17 AM Rating: Decent
By far the hardest part of this quest is balancing the skellies in Miragul's down.
What i did was turn them all red, then beat them down to about 15%. Then position myself with my back turned to all of them and used Vigorous Shuriken/Dagger-Throw to whittle them all down to within 3-4% of death. Monk vigorous shuriken for 700-1300 dmg takes the skellies down 1-3% per hit, which is why i stopped at 4%.
After that i tash'ed them all and used cleric Tectonic Tumult Rk. 2 (2954 dmg AE), and this finished the task for me. The skelly with the highest HP percentage was at 4% when the AE went off. They need to die at the exact same time, nothing else will do so you WILL need someone who can AE damage (no mercs allowed)

By the way the raid instance is NOT a LDoN mission and can be gotten similar to how you'd get CoA instance. Have 6 people in group, they don't even have to be online when you request. Funny thing is, i had 1 offline character and got instance with only 5 online toons. This gave me an instance with only 5 players listed in the expedition window, but everything worked fine nonetheless.

The final fight in Miragul's, the collossus golem, dropped a note but Durgin wouldn't take it. Hailing him however gave me the "... you have proved X's innocence".

The reclusive girplan was a pain and i ended up using the triggered version (loot the 4 pieces on your rogue toon, as no other class can trigger the event). Similar to what has been posted numerous times: have a tracker handy!

Lirpin won't take any of the stuff you loot from the first 4 rogue fights, but i wasn't gutsy enough to delete them and see if he would move the quest along without them.

Also, the quest outline is wrong here. Once you have proven the first 4 rogues innocent you have to tell lirpin "I know who is guilty" which will flag you for the final fight against Wimsy.

Keetra the Lost: There are infact 2 ways to spawn her. One rogue with us was lucky enough to find the reclusive girplan up and we did the harder version. The easier version is infact by killing mobs in that zone and looting: polished bone horn, thin leather straps, brass mouth piece and a brass mute. You turn those 4 items in to Donivon to trigger the spawnable version. In both cases you say to her "Lirprin sent me." to trigger the chest and quest update.

The LDON in Everfrost required a full group to trigger the instance. Getting the correct color of skellies is the trick there, all must be red as mentioned and must die at that same time. The other 3 tasks are easy enough.

Good Luck, fabulous clicky effect even at higher levels!

Can now confirm that the LDoN can be done with 6, don't need 10 to get the mission, but you can't use mercs - did it today on E-Marr. Was a joke - half the group was just a few boxes taking up space to get instance. 85 Ranger, 85 SK, 85 Wiz, and 85 SHM downed event - Rogue stood by and watched.

75 Rogue, Zek Server

Did this in 1 day, although technically I was AFK most of the day, so it really only took me about 5 hours to finish.

First of all, do not aoe near the first guy, lairyn, you agro him, he wont spawn for a minute.

Second mob, the ugly *** squid, no longer has side spawns. I killed him with lvl 75 rogue, lvl 75 ranger, and lvl 80 sham.

The raid was easily done, just follow said directions. HOWEVER the skelles are chromatic skeletons, you kill the first ones which are white (by white i mean the actualy graphic not the con) and they die and turn into the dark brown version, kill those and the skele graphic turns red. Make sure you get all of the chromatic skeles to turn red before you kill ANY of them. Once they're all red colored, nuke em down. I did this with 11 members from my guild.

Fourth mob was the fat Girplan guy, he spawns in a tunnel on the far right of the map. He was hard as hell, I died twice, my husband died once, and so did the other ranger helping us. We eventually killed him with 1 75 ranger, 1 75 rogue, 1 80 cleric, and 1 75 necro. Took forever to take him down... definately need a group of 4 or 5 with mercs.

The last guy, easy as pie... with 5 people he spawned 3 assassins and Wren went down like butter...

Low and be hold.. I have my epic.

Did the LDON tonight on Tribunal server. Worked fine, no bugs.
LDON instance works 09/10/2008
# Sep 10 2008 at 5:46 AM Rating: Decent
not bugged - I can verify that last night the LDON instance worked.

We ran around, killed the 2 horde leader goblin dudes so they'd stop sending the onslaught of grey goblins, then gathered up all 4 skeletons, they go through phases of colors/names - at first, they appear white, after you kill one, it appears grey'ish, then dark grey/brown after another kill, then the last shade of color is RED and it will be called a chromatic skeleon - get them all down to 1-3% health and have a wizard/dru/clr AE NUKE their asses. DONE.

the rest of the tasks are fairly easy. The sludge one can get messy. Just DPS the heck out of that sludge...it splits into 4 slimes... more DPS, it splits again! MORE DPS! kill all slimes... (about 16) until you get the msg "task has been updated" in yellow color.

That named undead-looking elephant is also fairly easy. Kill him, get update.

Finally, the last task is to protect that females corpse, her warder is nearby, hail it to get the spawns to attack, most of the mobs are animals, only one wave, EASY AS PIE.

The Colossus was really a pushover. DPS HIM UNTIL DEATH! Gratz, the hardest part of rogue 2.0 is now done!

I still need more 2.0 orb from anguish, yeah I know, I'm a slacker =)

After reading here how easy the EF LDoN raid is, I gave this portion of the epic a try the other day, only to clear in all the way to find only two chromatic bonewalkers up. We killed them in the proper sequence, however they still respawned into Icy Bonewalkers and the 'tasks' message would not update. With a ranger I flipped the instance for an hour or so and he reported never seeing more than 2 Chromatic or Icy up at the same time.

Each time we did this with 6 people...is there a higher requirement on the number of people you need in the raid to get the whole thing to spawn correctly? 6 is the in-game requirement to get the zone, but do I need like 18 or something to get the whole thing to pop correctly?

Alternately, can I do the normal version of this LDoN raid and still complete the epic portions? We checked this with just the 6 of us and the ranger reported all four bonewalkers up.

I had just my sk and rogue. Something I noticed was 2 skellies are in the dead end all the way to the east and another 2 are in one of the legs all the way south (the left one of the 2)

We did this raid for myself and a fellow rogue guildmate on two successive nights with no problems with the skeletons or any other part of the script. This was on the Bristlebane server -- I mention that because I saw on the official EQ forums that it was mainly (maybe exclusively) people on Combine that were reporting bugged missions. Not sure which server the previous posters are on.

we did the whole thing for a guy that had his orb already. It took 6 people all Solteris geared or better. For the big kills it took us maybe an hour -90 minutes to do them all then i think another 30 minutes or so for the last portion.

Keep in mind I said Solteris geared not SOF grp geared.

( as stated this doesnt include getting the anguish orb, which can also be done with 6 ppl of the same magnitude)
