This group mission begins with Officer Vacax Rol`Tas (click for map image) in the Dark Reign camp of the Lavastorm Mountains. Pre-requisites for requesting this task: - Minimum group level average 68 - Minimum "amiable" faction with Dark Reign - Completion of "Army of Stone" - Completion of "Blood from Sand" - Completion of "Reap the Kirin Mind" You say, 'Hail, Officer Vacax Rol`Tas' Officer Vacax Rol`Tas laughs, 'These are indeed good days for the will of hate and fear. We will overcome the races of light and prevail. Pledge allegiance to Lanys T`Vyl!' You have been assigned the task 'Drake Eggs'. We believe that eggs from the drakes in The Ascent could be some use in making powerful new potions. Go to The Ascent and collect one of these eggs for study. Once you have it, we will send you to an agent to collect it from you. Touch the cave entrance to The Ascent 0/1 (The Broodlands) The instance entrance is in the Broodlands at approximate location 1590, 680, 52 (a cave in the northwestern part of the zone). Loot 1 Stillmoon Drake Egg from a drake in The Ascent 0/1 (The Ascent) The drake that drops the egg is called simply "a drake". You'll find several of these along the path upwards in the zone (usually in groups of 2-3). a drake has been slain by _____! Loot a Stillmoon Drake Egg from its corpse (drop is random). Kill 1 goblin guard 0/1 (The Ascent) Task Window Says: It appears that the forces of Stillmoon don't like you stealing the drake eggs. They killed our agent and now block your path out. Deal with them as you see fit and bring the eggs back to Celrak Blightblood. The goblin guard spawns at the zone-in along with two guardian statues. They each hit for a max ~700 and are mezzable and stunnable. a Goblin Guard has been slain by _____! a Goblin Guard's corpse falls forward, clutching its wounds. The egg is not random. It always drops from the two-spawn right before you click up to the summit. Specifically, it's the drake furthest from the wall. Nothing sees invis except the iron warder(s). Just invis up, kill the two-spawn and roaming kirin, loot egg, invis back to entrance and kill the goblin. Very easy mission to farm faction orbs.

It appears that the forces of Stillmoon don't like you stealing the drake eggs. They killed our agent and now block your path out. Deal with them as you see fit and bring the eggs back to Celrak Blightblood.

Same mobs as in normal Ascent, but higher level. All where dark blue to 72, except the special to instance mobs, which include, and untargettable a dead contact, a Goblin Guard (doesn't see invis but surrounded by 2 status that do see invis), 2x a guardian statue.

Seems to be 29 Ebons every time. Tried it various average level combinations, from 69-75, and always 29. Maybe lower if much lower than 69 average level.
The one drake that is with the one at the given location that drops the egg, has always been light blue con to 72. One time had a light blue puma, but only one time.

Mobs don't hit too terribly hard, didn't notice anything special about any trash, cleric, melee, caster trash. All blue to 70. Nothing sees invis in the zone until you loot the egg, then the goblin guard and 2 statue guards will spawn at entrance. The statue guards see invis. 'a guardian statue' and 'a Goblin Guard'. Egg dropped from 'a drake'.
Everything in the zone gives negative Kessdona, Rikkukin, and Stillmoon Acolytes, atleast what we killed.

Loot 1 A Stillmoon Drake Egg from a drake in The Ascent (The Ascent)
Kill 1 a goblin guard (The Ascent)
Deliver 1 A Stillmoon Drake Egg to Celrak Brightblood (Lavastorm Mountains)
Mobs don't hit too terribly hard, didn't notice anything special about any trash, cleric, melee, caster trash. All blue to 70. Nothing sees invis in the zone until you loot the egg, then the goblin guard and 2 statue guards will spawn at entrance. The statue guards see invis. 'a guardian statue' and 'a Goblin Guard'. Egg dropped from 'a drake'.
Everything in the zone gives negative Kessdona, Rikkukin, and Stillmoon Acolytes, atleast what we killed.
