Quest Description:
Those kirins in The Ascent that leads up the mountain into the clouds are truly abhorrent, but may serve a purpose to us. We believe they are highly intelligent if we understand our lore correctly. Should we be able to steal their knowledge, we may be able to use it against the dragons, or better, the light races of Norrath. We shall need a few samples to work on so loot 3 Pristine Kirin Brain.

Pre-requisites for requesting this task: - Level 67+ - Minimum "amiable" faction with Dark Reign - Completion of all Tier 1 tasks and flags You say, 'Hail, Officer Sirrikis Ryktor' Officer Sirrikis Ryktor says 'Perhaps you will find a path to the higher ranks of the Dark Reign -- a place I'm sure I shall find myself someday... someday.' You have been assigned the task 'Reap the Kirin Mind'. Those kirins in The Ascent that leads up the mountain into the clouds are truly abhorrent, but may serve a purpose to us. is there any way to solo these? i'm a lvl 70 Necro. with all the adds (pumas and goblins) that seem to pop out of the walls, it seems like you gotta have a group (or at least an ench) to do this with minimal help.

As an sk, I was able to solo them back when don was still current.
The hardest part is getting past the see invis in the cave (pet pull it, or run fd)
Not much else sees invis up there but the golems beyond that.
Scout a spot, kill a roamer and a static, then pull the klrins to there.
As a necro though, if your pet can tank it, go for it. I don't remember the agro ranges being very large. Surely no kiting room.
