This solo task begins with Officer Sirrikis Ryktor (click for map image) at the Dark Reign camp in the caves, /loc 3050, -350. Pre-requisites for requesting this task: - Level 65+ - Minimum "indifferent" faction with Dark Reign You say, 'Hail, Officer Sirrikis Ryktor' Officer Sirrikis Ryktor says 'Perhaps you will find a path to the higher ranks of the Dark Reign -- a place I'm sure I shall find myself someday... someday.' You have been assigned the task 'Clearing the Path'. You again! As much as I hate to admit, we can use your assistance. We are trying to get some equipment into that disgustingly bright temple area called Stillmoon. Go there and shed some blood in the halls to make way so we may plant some of our traps. Now go kill 8 Stillmoon drakes. Kill 8 Stillmoon drakes 0/8 (Stillmoon Temple) Reportedly, only "a Stillmoon drake" and "a Stillmoon basalt mage" count. Upon the death of the last drake, you see: You have completed the task for the Dark Reign! Your faction standing with Dark Reign got better. (+10) Your faction standing with Lanys T`Vyl got better. Seems to only update your task now if you kill 'A Stillmoon Drake'. I tried killing 'A Stillmoon Basalt Mage' like Superstzar mentioned earlier, but it looks like they've nerfed it.

Stillmoon Temple can be found on the north wall of the Broodlands. Not all of the Drakes in the Temple will count towards the task. The only other Drake besides "A Stillmoon Drake" that counted for us was "A Stillmoon Basalt Mage". No others we found gave credit. You will have to crawl through the zone to find the Drakes that count as they are spread out across the zone. Though a few of the caster type Drakes did, most mobs do not see invis so gettng around was not a problem. It was rare that we didn't get an add as most of the mobs are roamers so having some CC with you helps. They were dark blue to my 70 Cleric and hit for between 59 and 220 and do cast various spells including C-Heal. Easy Task.
