This solo task begins with Officer Sirrikis Ryktor (click for map image) at the Dark Reign camp in the caves, /loc 3050, -350. Pre-requisites for requesting this task: - Level 65+ - Minimum "indifferent" faction with Dark Reign You say, 'Hail, Officer Sirrikis Ryktor' Officer Sirrikis Ryktor says 'Perhaps you will find a path to the higher ranks of the Dark Reign -- a place I'm sure I shall find myself someday... someday.' You have been assigned the task 'Blood of the Basilisk'. Sirrikis grumbles seeing that you are still alive. 'Don't look at me as though I misjudged you, blundering fool! As you seem to be so persistent, I do have a job for you to do, if you manage to not foul that up. It would seem we need some simmering blood from the basilisks in Tirranun's Delve. Bring us five of those as well. Don't even think to ask us what it's for. You're too ignorant to understand. Now remove yourself from my sight and loot 5 Simmering Basilisk Blood. Loot 5 Simmering Basilisk Blood 0/5 (Tirranun's Delve) These drop from domesticated basilisks in Tirranun's Delve. The drops from a domesticated basilisk in Lavaspinner's Lair will not count this this task. Upon looting the fifth item, you see: You have completed the task for the Dark Reign! Your faction standing with Dark Reign got better. (+10) Your faction standing with Lanys T`Vyl got better. (+10) Your faction standing with Firiona Vie got worse. (-10) Your faction standing with Norrath's Keepers got worse. Respawn is 16 minutes and change for basilisks in the northern room.
You must have indifferent faction and must speak with Commander Zaerr Ty'Dar before Officer Sirrikis will give you the 3 tasks.
You get a message that says "you have revived a character flag!" then when you hail officer you get the 3 quests

1st loc is p575, n154 as already mentioned and has 5-6 Basilisks
2nd loc is p1541, n159 and has about 10-12 of the Basilisks
got 3 drops at first loc and and 7 at the second.

The Domesticated Basilisks are found in the depressed area with the lava flowing out of the ceiling at loc 640, -154 and is the first big room you get to once past the zone in cave. Some mobs along the way see invis while some do not. Depending on what’s up you may be able to invis your way to the room. Only five Basilisks are up in the room and they don't drop the blood every time but around one to two each clearing. The Basilisks were mostly light blue with a couple dark blue to my 70 cleric and hit for between 63 and 297 and do not cast. Other mobs along the way were light and dark blue. Spawn time on Basilisks is a little over 20 min. Pretty easy task.
