Norrath's Keepers Tier 5a: The Curse of Ju`rek

This raid task begins with Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor (click for map image) in the Norrath's Keepers camp of the Lavastorm Mountains. Pre-requisites for requesting this task: - Minimum 6 players; maximum 24 players - Must be warmly faction with Norrath's Keepers - Completion of all Tier 4 tasks and flags (including the raids) You say, 'Hail, Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor' Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor says 'Those faithful to the way of Norrath's Keepers may take on the greatest challenges and prove their worth to Firiona Vie.' You have been assigned the task 'The Curse of Ju`rek'. You must travel into the Nest and learn as much as you can about the corruption of the place. There are a number of drakes in the caverns of the Nest that have been twisted somehow. We want you to look for a drake that has been rumored to be altered so significantly that it has unique magic. Go learn more about it and kill it if you can. Task Steps Touch the portal to the Nest 0/1 (The Broodlands) Confront Ju`rek the Corrupted 0/1 (The Accursed Nest) TASK LOCKS HERE Kill Ju`rek the Corrupted 0/1 (The Accursed Nest) The Event The entrance to the instance is in the southeastern part of the Broodlands. Once inside, head east across the bridge and through the doors. Ju`rek's lair is the SE room of east wing. Ju`rek the Corrupted hits for a max ~2,300; flurries; has ~545,000 hitpoints; and casts two spells: Decaying Stench: PB AE 100', Disease (-600) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1800 per tick 2: Increase Disease Counter by 45 Ju'Ok's Cry: Targeted AE 100', Poison (-550) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1500 2: Stun (10.00 sec) Also, Ju`rek spawns multiple adds called "a harsh wind" in waves as its health goes down. These proc "Freezing Blast"; have relatively few hitpoints; and are mezzable, but not stunnable: Freezing Blast: PB AE 100', Magic (-300) 1: Decrease HP when cast by 1000 2: Decrease Movement by 70% Completion & Loot Kill Ju`rek the Corrupted to complete the task: Ju`rek the Corrupted has been slain by ______! Ju`rek the Corrupted's corpse falls to the ground, its massive wings beating no more. Your faction standing with Cursed Drakes got worse. Your faction standing with Vishimtar got worse. Ju`rek has been slain! This is wonderful news. Perhaps with time the evil that lies within may be quelled. Ju`rek drops 6x "Diseased Wing Fragment" (progression item) + 1 item from this loot table: Black Banded Ring of Evisceration Dark-Touched Mantle Earring of Contemplation Hammer of the Last Clutch Rewards: 18 Radiant Crystals 1x "Norrath's Keepers Token" (faction turn-in item) Note: If doing this raid as part of progression, you'll want to check in with some NPCs to make sure your flags are up to date. Information is still wrong......just finished this quest again
The SE room would be Kerosek / Whirls & Dervish/ Corrupted Drakes & Fallen Nestlings
Ju'rek was found in the "Aspect of " (Protection, Power, Magic) / T'Shara room of the eastern wing.

EDIT:
It is safe to say that the location MAY be different for the Dark Reign faction however, but as far as Keeper's faction goes I have never encountered Ju'rek anywhere other than the "Aspect of " /T'Shara room.

This event takes a min # of players. One player can not get just for self.

I would expect 6, though I cant confirm at this time. Most tasks/raids require at least a minimum of 6 to start(Yar`lir, Anguish, LDON). Also, I think that I did this a few months ago with 6 or so people.
