This event takes place in the bedroom and crypt area just inside the Dreadspire lobby.

It is triggered by hailing one of the three vampire sisters, Althea, Brenda and Christine.

A horde of adds will spawn once the event is triggered. Although adds will spawn somewhat randomly(?) throughout the event, it is the initial wave that is the worst. Note that if the event goes beyond 20 minutes, the initial wave may spawn again.

Three people must follow the sisters around the crypt area and "betray" Althea and Brenda by reporting their actions to Christine. You have 25 minutes to correctly relay 10 emotes to Christine. Upon hailing a sister, she will give you an emote with trigger text, which may be one of these:

CONSPIRING
CRYING QUIETLY
DEAD RAT
DIARY
LETTER OPENER
POISONOUS SUBSTANCE
SABOTAGING
SCOPING
SPYING
WOODEN STAKE

She will then ask what one of her sisters is up to (example):

Althea says, 'What is Brenda up to?'

Whoever is responsible for talking to that sister should relay the emote given. The key words are in capital letters. Here is an example of an exhange:

You say, 'Hail, Brenda'

Brenda is sulking, burying her face in the bedsheets while CRYING QUIETLY.

Brenda says 'What is Christine up to?'

Whoever is talking to Christine should report her actions to you. If, for example, Christine has given the "poisonous substance" emote, you should relay that information to Brenda:

You say, 'She's making a poisonous substance'

Brenda says 'You watched her poisoning my goblet with your own two eyes? That dreadful witch.'

You have successfully reported Christine's underhanded activities. With enough evidence to incriminate her fully, she will be unwelcome in the Master's house.

Those who are involved with hailing the sisters will have the following spells cast upon them randomly:

Hand of the Unseen (-500 Cold)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 4000
2: Stun(2.00 sec)

Prick of a Poisoned Pin (-500 Poison)
1: Increase Poison Counter by 50
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 2250 per tick

Upon success, a well-kept lockbox spawns in the south crypt, a Sister`s handbag spawns in Brenda's room at the end of the hall, and the following emotes go off:

Christine shouts, 'Master, oh Master! There is dissension among your coven. My own sisters, who I trusted implicitly, have been conspiring against me. There is a mountain of proof and witnesses!'

An ominous voice booms, 'Very well, Christine. Since it pleases you so much, your fellow Sisters will be bound and banished.'

Althea and Brenda's screams are cut short as they are exiled from the Demi-Plane of Blood.

On failure...

Althea pouts, 'I knew these mortals would fail. They didn't put in the efforts to help me.'

Brenda screams, 'Who would? Anyone can see you're naught but a backstabbing strumpet!'

Christine whines, 'This isn't the end of it, Sisters. I know what you've been up to and the Master will eventually know, too. The next time you won't be so lucky.'

The full emotes (Althea and Brenda are just used as an example; any sister can use any of these emotes at any time):

Althea is CONSPIRING with several werewolves, whispering and motioning towards the rooms of the other Sisters.

You say, 'She is conspiring'

Brenda says 'Consorting with the wurine? She's up to no good, undoubtedly.'

Althea is sulking, burying her face in the bedsheets while CRYING QUIETLY.

You say, 'She is crying quietly'

Brenda says 'Crocodile tears, _____. Don't be fooled. The whining strumpet knows nothing but malice.'

Althea glances around the room to ensure the other Sisters are nowhere in sight, then slips a DEAD RAT under the bed pillow.

You say, 'She put a dead rat in your bed!'

Brenda growls, 'She put what in my bed?'

Althea is murmuring to herself while obsessively sharpening an ornate LETTER OPENER.

You say, 'She is sharpening a letter opener'

Brenda says 'To plunge into my back, of course . . . Not that I'd ever turn my back on her.'

Althea gingerly dabs a POISONOUS SUBSTANCE onto the rim of one of the other Sister's wine goblets.

You say, 'She is making a poisonous substance'

Brenda says 'You watched her poisoning my goblet with your own two eyes? That dreadful witch.'

Althea uses a small chisel to hammer a crack into another Sister's coffin, SABOTAGING it.

You say, 'She is sabotaging a coffin'

Brenda says 'Damaging my coffin, eh? Wait until the Master hears of this. He will be most displeased.'

Althea is wandering the back halls, SCOPING out the occupants in the various guest rooms.

You say, 'She is scoping out the guestrooms'

Brenda says 'Nosy girl should stick to her room. She has no reason to wander the back halls.'

Althea is surreptitiously watching the other Sisters, SPYING on them.

You say, 'She is spying on you'

Brenda says 'Aha, I knew I felt her wicked gaze! The witch should mind her own business.'

Althea is carving a block of wood, using a whittling blade to fashion a sharp WOODEN STAKE.

You say, 'She is carving a wooden stake'

Brenda gasps in horror. 'How dare she?!'

Althea is flipping through the pages of a DIARY, which is obviously not her own. It must belong to one of the other Wailing Sisters.

You say, 'She is reading your diary'

Brenda screams, her face regaining a touch of color, 'My diary! She knows better . . . I'll kill her!'

if the person doing the hails to one of the sisters dies, she will refuse to talk to you for the rest of the event (Get away from me <name>! I know you ratted me out!). It seems, though I can't be totally sure, that if the sisters are too close together they will say "I already know that" when you report to them, and that round doesn't count. But she will still talk to you after she moves. If they're in one of the bedrooms, you can generally talk to them through the walls.

Finished this last night (post no illusion through doors nerf). I'd recommend you get a couple buddies who can track to help you, but if you want to do it alone for whatever reason here's what I did.
1. Four boxed it with the following assignments:
Bard: Snitch to Christine
Warrior: Snitch to Brenda
Berserker: Snitch to Althea
Ranger: Stood in center of area, facing North and tracking the sisters.

2. While you can't illusion through doors anymore, you can always enter the north area through the center door, and enter the south area through the eastern side.

3. The directions from the ranger's perspective were enough to allow the snitch characters to run around that area hailing their assigned sister until they got a response. It's faster to rely on spam-hailing over actually finding the sister. Ideally all characters can track and just keep tracking their assigned sisters.

4. I chose to NEVER snitch on Christine, which makes it easier to keep all the sisters on cooldown (or asking you to snitch on Christine), but if I did it again I'd probably snitch on all of them in case you get really unlucky with them always asking to snitch on Christine.

5. I didn't pay attention to any snitching order or anything. As soon as I found a sister who wanted to know what Brenda or Althea were up to, and found what they were up to I snitched ASAP.

6. I only created macros to target the sisters on each of the snitch characters. You can type out just the bold phrases. You don't need to say "She is sabotaging a coffin", just sabotaging will do.

7. If you're like me, you're in the demiplane of blood for the first time and have the zone-wide aura that snares you. Do the other T1 events and do the turn-ins to become immune to the snare portion of debuff.

8. I had a character assigned to snitch to each sister, but you can get away with two. You just have to never snitch ON the sister you're assigned to snitch TO. So if you've got to talk to Brenda and Althea, never use that character to snitch on Brenda and Althea.

How To 2 Box the Wailing Sisters

I two boxed this event with my ranger main and monk alt. To fully incriminate a sister, you need 8 pieces of evidence against her. You must incriminate two of them to win. After a few attempts, I finally figured out a working strat for two people.

Things You Need:
1) The ability to illusion through a locked door.
2) A non-damage weapon set.
3) The ability to track.
4) Hot keys to target Brenda, Christine and Althea.
5) Remove all forms of DS.

The Strat:
-- Designate your Non-Tracking character to report to Christine and Althea about Brenda. This allows you to hail both Christine and Althea to see what they're up to and who they want information about.
-- Designate your Tracking character to report to Brenda about Christine and Althea. This allows you hail Brenda to see what she is up to and who she wants information about.
-- Whenever you reveal the actions of a sister, that specific sister will no longer talk to you, nor will she receive information about the other sisters. You must be able to get information from all 3 sisters in the manner above or you cannot win the event.

Always start with Brenda. Use your /target Brenda hot key to target her through the walls, then run up and down the aisle between the bedrooms spamming hail until you get her query about Althea or Christine, as well as what she is currently doing. Start at the room Brenda initially starts in and run down to the ledge. If you were unable to get a response or could not target her, utilize tracking to find her. Once you know who Brenda wants information on, utilize the same method with the Non-Tracker. The ladies can be in the bedrooms, in the South crypt, the North crypt and over by the bedroom that Maggotmiser spawns in. You'll have to utilize the illusion through the door trick multiple times as the ladies change their positions, as well as tracking to find them when they're in the crypts. Be aware they go mobile sometimes and can change form to a brown bat.

Typical Example: The Tracker finds Brenda and she asks, "What is Christine up to?" and in light blue text it says that Brenda is putting a POISONOUS SUBSTANCE on a wine goblet. The Non-Tracker then goes and locates Christine and she asks, "What is Brenda up to?" and in light blue text it says that Christine is CRYING QUIETLY. Have your Non-Tracker /say Poisonous Substance to Christine, because she wanted to know what Brenda was doing. You'll receive yellow text indicating that you've begun amassing evidence against this sister. Now switch over to your Tracker and /say Crying Quietly to Brenda, because that is what Christine is doing. You'll receive the same yellow text.

Soon you'll see white text telling you that the ladies are about to change positions. All locked doors will automatically open for a brief period of time and that's your que to find the ladies' new locations. Begin again with your Tracker to find and hail Brenda.

Another Typical Example: Let's say this time Brenda asks, "What is Althea up to?" and indicates that she is SPYING on her sisters. Switch over to the Non-Tracker and locate Althea. This time she asks, "What is Christine up to?" and indicates that she is placing a DEAD RAT in the bed. Switch over to your Tracker and /say Dead Rat to Brenda, because that is what Althea is doing. Now switch back over to the Non-Tracker and locate Christine. She asks, "What is Brenda up to?" and indicates that she is fashioning a WOODEN STAKE. Have your Non-Tracker /say Spying, because that is what Brenda is doing.
--It is vital that you do not inform Althea of Christine's actions in this circumstance. If you do that, you lose the ability to hail Christine on the Non-Tracker, which inevitably results in a failure.

If Christine wants to know about Althea and Althea wants to know about Christine, you cannot inform these actions. In this case, you will only be able to tell Brenda what she wants to know. This scenario will probably lead to a failure due to the inability to gather incriminating evidence for a period of time.

During this whole process you must deal with adds. When you start the event, all the rooms spawn with KoS mobs, all of which summon if damaged past 97%. This is why you need the non-damage bandolier. The purpose of this event is gathering incriminating evidence. Heal through and ignore the adds as they bash on you until you've retrieved the evidence, then kill them. Otherwise you risk spending all your time killing adds and you miss an opportunity to retrieve incriminating evidence against the sisters. Please note the bats in the crypt areas spawn extremely fast and will be a constant nuisance. Just be sure to utilize your non-damage bandolier and you'll be fine as you maneuver through the crypt areas.

If the sisters change location before you relay their current set of incriminating evidence, you will have to re-locate them and find their new set of incriminating evidence. Each location change results in a new action by the sisters, so this process is always unavoidable.

The event will last long enough that all the event start mobs will re-spawn. This is an indication that your time is running low. If you don't have at least 5 or 6 pieces of evidence against two different sisters, you will probably fail due to running out of time and have to start the event over when it resets.

This event took me 4 tries to win developing this 2 box method. Good luck and Happy Hunting!

Not sure if I can say this here but having instant click illusion really helps on this encounter.
Naming the western room, room one and naming the rest clockwise numerically is what I do on this encounter, so if I see someone elses assigned sister its very quick to say in group chat where they are (unless they're in the crypts or balcony of course)
Once you understand the encounter and how the emote and reporting thing works, it's quite easy with four people, one on each sisters and one support killing adds if the ones on a sister cannot.

This event is very buggy, If the sisters are to close to each other they seem to get the message about what the sister is doing causing a fail. Or they do not reset right when they move. This means you can do everything perfect and fail. Which is a pain in the butt. You must condemn 2 sisters. For instance 10 hits on althea and 10 on Brenda is a win. but 7 on Althea, 7 on Brenda and 6 on Christine is not. So depending on what sister gets asked about you can condemn one sister and then have limited opportunities to get hits on the other one that you are close on. Sometimes just luck of the draw.

We are stuck too.

Do you need 10 successes on any one sister? But 10 overall successes wont do you any good if they spread out among the 3 sisters. Is that right?

And once we got a success our sister would shut down until she warped away. Looking at the logs it looks like she warped for us every 2 minutes.

So it seems like the fastest this event can be done is 20 minutes. And if you fail at 25. This does not leave you much margin.

Is this all correct? I see posts that say once you get the hang of it it can be done really fast. I dont understand how that is possible.

What am I missing ?

The guild I'm apping to just got into Demi, and we're sorta stuck on this event. It seems to me that we're doing everything right, we got people following the sisters around, hailing them and doing as meant, but it's still not working. Either they don't emote or they just don't want to know what the sister is up to, or they say that they already know what said sister is doing, etc. etc. Is it just buggy, or are we doing something wrong?

My question is this: do you hail all 3 Sisters at the same time to start the event? Or can you hail them 1 at a time, to deal with the adds easier?

Because, I gotta tell you, hailing all 3 at once sure was ugly. We ended up with ~18 or so mobs all flailing on top of us, and while the effort was valiant, there's only so much you can do when you've got 18 or so Lvl 71+ mobs *****-slapping you around.

And why should the bats NOT be killed? Do they despawn if left alone long enough? Or is it because there are only so many adds that can be up at one time and, by keeping these alive, you reduce the total number that pop at each spawn-point in the event?

There's just gotta be a way to deal with all those darn bats/skellies/werewolves/vampires that pop at once, would appreciate any info on the matter.

[EDIT] Answered my own question just the other night; hailing *1* Sister is enough to start the event. So, in retrospect, guess there's no way at all to keep the adds from swarming you all at once.

We have the necros mezz undead, while the enchanters mezz the other adds.

I believe the order to killing them is Werewolves (they charm) Vampires (men first, then women) then skellies.

I'm not sure why we don't kill the bats, but, we don't!

Found out just the other night why we don't kill the bats: they respawn, and quickly.

So, we split the 6 bats into 2 groups of 3 apiece, and use two Enchanters (of which I am one) to keep 'em locked down until after the event's over. My Specialization's in Alteration, not Conjuration, and I use a 1k mana AE mezz every 60 seconds; still, after the event's over (25 minutes), I'm usually standing at 30%+ mana.

Now, regarding the order in which you kill them...

What we've been doing is parking the main raid force just inside the door of the foyer (where you enter from the spires), and having 2-3 people follow the Sisters around. 1 is a hailer, and the other(s) AE aggro and pull the mobs that spawn near them to the raid. I've never followed a Sister around myself, and I'm not in the "inner circle" regarding strategy, so all I know for sure is that the adds are pulled to the main raid as they spawn, in no specific order.

Is this how it's done? Or is there a pattern to the adds? IE, can we anticipate where they'll pop, and move a fireteam to that spot prior to them popping, to better deal with them?

A WORD OF CAUTION: THE STRONGBOX WHICH SPAWNED ON SUCCES WAS TRAPPED !!!

As for the event: You have to keep the bats mezzed, and have three groups follow the sisters around. Each sister will ask about what the other two sisters are upto, and say what they are upto.
The goal is for each group following a sister is: Hail a sister, she will ask about one of the other two. She will also give an emote telling you what she is upto. Relay that information to the other two groups.
Each person should hail only one sister, if you hail several, they will no longer trust you and won't give you information. Only one person should do the hails on one sister.
You will also need spotters around the corridors, as the sisters walk around and also warp. You have a limited time to exchange info when a sister is stannding around. After that you will see ".... prepares to head elsewhere."
Lastly, adds will spawn which should be brought to the main raidforce and killed. Getting the information across correctly seems to greatly diminish the number of adds.

ok enough time has passed on this crappy event. It is triggered by talking to one of the sisters involved. It starts a spawner of mobs and the sisters move and or warp to new locations on steady intervals where they play a dangerous game of try to kill the other sisters. Additional mobs are called A vampire bat -- mezzable dont kill , a skeletal watchkeeper (yellow con), an ascended resident (red con). Various repop mobs local to the area depending on your rate of kill.

that should give you enough information to build at least the general gist of the event for everyone to work on.

There are ten emotes that the various Sisters will give, which must then be relayed correctly to the others. They are as follows, in no particular order...

Poisonous substance
Dead rats
Spying
Crying quietly
Crying softly
Diary
Wooden stake
Sabotaging
Conspiring
Scoping

You succeed once you've correctly relayed the 10th emote to Christine; this must be accomplished within 25 minutes, or you fail and the event ends.

If you fail, there is no "lockout" timer. You need merely wait long enough for the Sisters to respawn (15-20 minutes; I never counted) and you can try again, as often as you like, until you either succeed or get tired of trying and give up.

Durin the event, you have to control adds, some mezzable (a vampiric bat(s) that are not showing on your list of mobs atm, skellies) but vampires are not mezzable, and you have to hail the sisters while they are not moving, then tell them what they need to know about the other sisters!
You gather informations like that and you get them condamned.
The best way is to split raid all over the place the sisters roam, so you can hail and kill adds as they pop or aggro.
It's a timed event but i'm not sure how long you have.

It's not a task, but an old-fashioned event and it takes place in Demiplane entirely, starts and ends there. The list of quest mobs is complete, just some unlisted trash will spawn during event. The Handkerchief is not a required item, but a reward.
