Clearing up where the page is near coral. I think it is page 4? The page is at a coral. The coral is amongst a bunch of witherans under water. The location of the coral is at p717, p511. Hope this helps.

I am Briznek I have been researching the area. I used to have an assistant but I seem to have lost him some time ago. I miss his company; he was a good [assistant].' You say, 'Assistant?' Researcher Briznek says 'Savil has been with me for awhile now. We worked well together and he was very loyal. With him gone, progress has been slow. Computing computing computing. . . What a great idea! Would you be [willing to help me] with my research until Savil returns?' You say, 'I am willing to help you.' Researcher Briznek says 'Compute compute compute. . . Target ______ is willing to help. . . I need a few materials collected from the area so that I can continue my research. It will require traveling into the more dangerous areas of Stoneroot Falls. I need [witheran glands], [damaged shiliskin bone chips], [cracked basilisk tails] and some [medium quality snake skins]. This task is easy and can be done in under an hour. It rewards 101 Platinum and the final book (which is good for nada -- as far as I can tell).
The pages and items you seek will simply appear on your cursor once you are in the right spot.
The pages are called "Assistant Savil's Field Book Page 1 to Page 10.
SOLVED:
1) Get task. Invis and Levitate and head out.
2) 1st Page: Swim under the Living Island where Grokui is.
3) 2nd Page: Walk over the top of the other Living Island closest by.
4) 3rd page: Head NE near wall (up on rocks) and run by the chest where the Shilliskin Zoriles spawns (he sees Invis btw).
5) 4th Page: Head for the upper section of the zone. SW of the tower there are a LOT of Witherans in the water. Swim into the water at the large coral you see there.
6) 5th Page: Head over to the Shadowmane Cave in the this same section of the zone -- walk up to the instanced zone line (doorway) just inside the cave -- there is a see invis here. If you get aggro -- you may want to just train and die getting the next page as well....
7) 6th Page: Further into this same cave you can go underwater and then surface at an island. Run about the top of the island for this page. If you are still alive -- train out of the cave and run for the zone line at Undershore using an Invis potion as you go (to prevent further aggro) (but don't zone). I did this and managed to outrun aggro and live.
8) 7th Page: Reinvis and Levitate. From the US ZL -- run SW towards the Hive ZL (run off into the air). Halfway towards the SW wall is a plateau full of snakes. Land on it and run over the top to get this page.
9) 8th Page: Keep going SW-ish until you reach the Drachnid fort. Hit the ground and run into the main gates for the next page. Beware See invis.
10) 9th Page: The 9th page is straight in from the main gates to the back wall -- at the instanced zone line. Beware see invis!
11) 10th Page: Now head up to the Hive Zone Line for the last page.
12) MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BAG SLOT OPEN. Now go back down into the 1st building on the left, (as you come in the main gates of the Drachnid fort). Go up the spiral ramp to find Assistant Savil's Empty Field Book (a 10-slot bag). Savil is dead at the top of the ramp.
13) Put the 10 pages into the bag and combine to make Assistant Savil's Collected Field Book.
14) Give the combined book to Briznek to finish. He will give you 101 Platinum and Assistant Savil's Restored Field Book.
I don't know what good this book is -- as all that is in it are the 10 pages with the same text.

Using the above walkthru the actual task steps start with #2. So walkthru2 = task1 and so on.
task1-task10 have the same Objective Instructions: Search for clues and find Assistant Savil.
task11 has the Objective Instruction: You discover Savil's field book.
task12 has the Objective Instruction: You have placed the notes you have found inside the book.
task13 has the Objective Instruction: Return the book to Researcher Briznek.

Still not alot of updates on this quest, I'm up to 7th step, I've seen the Redback Plateau once, but don't remember where it was, looking for it now. the 6th step is in the leviathan's cave btw

Have levi. on when standing at the tunnel to Undershore, now walk off the bridge and aim towards the Drachnid city, as you headed that way theres a large Stone platform with a bunch of female snakes and one stoneroot rattler its there you get the next page. hope this helps you

Still waiting for a kind soul to tell me where is loc of the 4 th page, the one with Witherans below a Tower, but cant find this Tower.

The tower is the massive structure in the middle of the west section.
It towers over the Shadow Guardian caves... which also house a few other pages.

It's actually the base of Dreadspire Keep, which becomes very clear when you see it from the Hive normal entrance area (when you jump off from Dreadspire or fall off the bridges in the Hive you land in the water in Stoneroot.
page 8 is at the doorway to the city.

Any locs on these notes? It sounds like ground spawn items... it that correct?

Found note 1,2,3 easily but the one with Witherans under a Tower in the sky,i cant find. Swimming, levitating, swimming underwater, been seriously near 2 hours exploring the zone and cant find this spot(note). Cant find where it is located at :(

Can anyone translate some of these notes? I am searching for the "Howling" in the distance, have gone down into the Shadow Guardian's cavern because it's the only "cave" in the zone, and got no updates. There is a Yellow mob (protector) standing in front of an instance zone entrance, unfortunately he saw invis and Sneak/Hide
If folks have finished the quest, can anyone give basic idea's on where each page is pointing?

That see invis mob is exactly where your update is. Have sow, run in & train out. Use whatever self-preservational tools are available to your class.

I can't figure out what "The Tower" is in this zone.

When you are doing Brizneks other tasks, one step is to explore Grokui's island. When you do that you find a page from Savil.
This page has a clue to the next page, which has a clue to the next page, so on until you have all 10 pages.
Once you have all 10 pages you go to Savil's Corpse in a tower in Xill and receive a container to combine all the pages in.
Turned in the final book to Briznek and got a task complete message and a different version of the book containing all the collected page texts: Assistant Savil's Restored Field Book.
This page has a clue to the next page, which has a clue to the next page, so on until you have all 10 pages.

I explored Grokui's island and got credit for it in that task, but Search for Savil remained untouched.
Is this page a drop? Ground spawn? I have only killed a few mobs, but didnt see ground spawn.

Savil's corpse is around the spider area. its at the top platform of one of the ramp/towers. There is a yellow con Drachnid standing next to the corpse, Found em while invis , no update walking around him so mosty likely have to kill the drachnid and hail the corpse or loot something from drachind. corpse is untargetable.

I was able to get Savil's empty notebook w/o disturbing the see invis mobs at the doorway. In wolf form, invised and with lev, I climbed the zone line wall just south of the tower. From there I drifted to the tree(?) next to the tower and from there went through the windows at the top of the tower. Got the book as I went through the window. The yellow drach next to the corpse did not see through invis.
