Strandar Pinemist is located at /loc 1322, 567 in the quest hall underneath island one.

You say, 'Hail, Strandar Pinemist'

Strandar Pinemist says 'Greetings, young one. Are you a [child of the trees]?'

You say, 'I am a child of the trees'

Strandar Pinemist says 'Then you are welcome in my presence. I shall call forth some loyal children if you but speak the name. Will or Fenalla will serve you well.'

You say, 'I choose Will.'

Strandar Pinemist says 'Please read this tome. It will explain how Will Treewalker is able to assist. When you are finished, please return it to me. We have but a single copy of such a tome, for which a tree gave its life.'

You receive a book called The Long Walk. Simply hand it back to Strandard to spawn Will.

Strandar Pinemist says 'Welcome, Will Treewalker.'

*Will Treewalker says 'I am Will and I am here to serve.'

Strandar Pinemist says 'I am no longer needed and will take my leave.'

Strandar despawns and Will Treewalker spawns next to him. He is loot-locked, hence the asterisk before his name.

You say, 'Hail, *Will Treewalker'

*Will Treewalker says 'Children of the trees, friend and protector of nature. We are brothers and sisters to the wolves and bears. The call of the Great Pine has filled your soul and you have found your way here to be tested. Are you ready to be tested?'

You say, 'I am ready to be tested.'

*Will Treewalker says 'The tests of old are difficult and dangerous, but the rewards for perseverance are great. I hold rewards for three tests. The test of the wolf, the test of the bear and the test of the tree.'

You say, 'The test of the bear'

*Will Treewalker says, 'Ah, the test of the bear it is. Find in this plane a copper disc, a nature walker's sky emerald, and a mantle of woven grass. Bring all three at one time to me for your reward.'

Copper Disc drop from azaracks. Nature Walker's Sky Emerald drops from gorgalasks, a gust of wind and a spirited harpie. Mantle of Woven Grass drops from Keeper of Souls.

Hand Will Treewalker the Copper Disc, Nature Walker's Sky Emerald and A Mantle of Woven Grass.

*Will Treewalker says, 'This mantle will protect you from the winds on your journeys naturewalker.'

You receive Nature Walker's Mantle.

At this point you are handed a tome. Give it back to Strandar Pinemist. Will Treewalker will pop to his left.

You say, 'Hail, Will Treewalker'

I got the mantle of woven grass off of the keeper on island 4, the copper disk dropped off the first island, and the nature walker's emerald dropped off island 3, the disk and the emerald are fairly common, the mantle of woven grass is the rough on to get =\

I visited eqmaps.com which has amazing information on each zone as well as maps and I found the following information about the items needed in this quest.

Copper Disk (azarack)
Sky Emerald has been changed to
Nature Walker's Sky Emerald(gusts of winds/Crystaline clouds/gorgalosk.. etc)
Mantle of Woven Grass ( rumored to be offa the Gorgalosk/Heart Harpie/Shimmering Meteors)

Kazandra (now if I can get my lvl 53 butt a group to go get it LOL)

If that is the case don't post. for insteance where do the nature walker's sky emerald drop? off what? how long is the spawn times? ect. what lvls can do the quest solo or do you need a full group or 2.

LOL, this site only knows what players tell it and though I maybe a lvl 53 I have yet to go to the planes and experience any of this. I love how people are critical of things and to cowardly to say who they are.

Why?!?
# Oct 30 2000 at 4:10 AM Rating: Default
Well, that just bloody sucks. Why did they change the reward? The quest isnt even worth doing now. The braided Ivy cords are almost as good, and a lot easier to get. The prayer shawl from Kedge is better. Guess they just dont want druids getting good stuff. Someone asked me the other day why I would want the Elder Spiritist stuff. A shaman had gotten the sleeves, and was amazed at the low ac. Its quite pathetic.

# Mar 11 2001 at 2:53 PM Rating: Default
well the thing is when u are able to obtain these items u would have most likely gotten over 200 wis which is the point in anymore wis makes no difference any more so go for other stuff like manna which this has plenty of.
RE: Why?!?
# Nov 21 2000 at 4:11 AM Rating: Default
The reason u do this quest is because u dont need wis items but need mana items. 50 mana in a single item is quite good. If u equip yerself with mana ac items a high lvl druid can get 800 ac AND 600-700 mana which is an additional 20-30%. In this case u also get wis. This is the best shouderpiece for druids I know of, Better than the shawl because pure wis is useless for very high lvl druids and better than oblus cause more wis and mana.
Why do you keep posting this same "Courtesy" thing under dif

I think I can speak for everyone on this topic. Please people when you know that someone has been camping for a long time, don't pester them about when they are going to leave. Don't sit down next to them to "wait" until they are done. You might be waiting a long time and then the time it takes for you to complete your camp on top of that. The NPC will always respawn and will always be there. Just ask them kindly if they will send you a tell when they are done and 9 times out of 10 they will. These players are tired from camping that long of a period and quite understandably a little grouchy and become extremely nervous at the thought of someone possibly stealing their kill. So, be courteous.
