Why, just take a look at our wide assortment of [tasks]. You must be so very eager to start.' You say, 'What tasks?' A task window pops up offering various tasks. Accept "Beware of Ogres." You have been assigned the task 'Beware of Ogres'. Qeynos Hills: Explore Sarri Modav's Hut You're about to embark on an adventure that will keep your senses clear and focused. There are no words to describe what you'll uncover, but know that when you arrive, you will find everything you had hoped for and more. To begin this amazing journey, just explore Sarri Modav's hut. You'll have the time of your life. Find Sarri Modav (Emissary to Shadowrest) in Qeynos Hills in a hut along the western wall, at +420, +1090. Your task 'Beware of Ogres' has been updated. West Karana: Kill 10 brown bears West Karana: Loot 4 Bear Meat Has your journey been progressing as well as you'd hoped? Have you found what you've been looking for all this time? If not, then you'll certainly find your path again when you kill 10 brown bears. Along the way, you'll encounter many troubles, but you should keep your wits about you, for when you loot 4 Bear Meat, you will find that there is much left to learn. Head to West Karana and kill 10 x "a brown bear." Loot 4 x Bear Meat (this will probably require killing far more than 10 bears) and hang onto them for later. West Karana: Explore the ogre shrine along the north central road Now that your journey is finally coming into its true focus, you can continue down the path of enlightenment. To continue, you must explore the ogre shrine along the north central road, for the faces of the wild will show you much. You don't need to get close enough for the ogres in the shrine to aggro; going to -845, -8840 was sufficiently close. Your task 'Beware of Ogres' has been updated. The direction to someone related to your current Task has been marked on your compass. West Karana: Deliver 4 Bear Meat to Verastara Dumont You have almost finished your journey. All that is left now is to deliver 4 Bear Meat to Verastara Dumont, which will complete the cycle of enlightenment. Know that you have improved yourself by walking this journey to its end. Verastara Dumont may be found at +590, -4105. Give her the bear meat. Your task 'Beware of Ogres' has been updated. Did you see how this journey did much for your spirit and mastery over your mind and body? Did you achieve a feeling of warmth and fulfillment by pushing yourself to complete this from beginning to end? There is no doubt that doing this has improved who you are on this world and made you invaluable, but the monetary reward will help you deal with the rigors of daily life. You receive 6 copper . heh, this quest seems pretty dumb to me, its not worth 1 plat imho =P
I love how overdramatic the quest guy is. This is seriously awesome how they've decided to make this task. There's a lot of entertainment to be had from actually reading what is said to you when you do these things. You lose a lot of the fun when you just see "Go to hut, kill 10 bears, loot 4 bear meats, go to shrine, return 4 bear meats."
