Norrath's Keepers: Diseased Pumas

It is a group mission (3-6 players) that begins with Kanetheus Forestwalker (click for map image) in the Norrath's Keepers camp of the Lavastorm Mountains. Pre-requisites for requesting: - Minimum Level 59 - Minimum "indifferent" faction with Norrath's Keepers Hail him to get a quest selection window pop-up. You have been assigned the task 'Diseased Pumas'. The pumas of Stillmoon Temple are said to be revered and blessed protectors. Unfortunately with the recent turmoil, some of the pumas have become infected with a mysterious virus and have passed it along to several of our members that have grown sick while traveling through the Temple. We ask you to please venture to the Temple and obtain four samples of infected puma blood so that we may perhaps find a cure for the infection. Once you find the blood samples, return them to me. Note: This group mission scales to your group's level. The highest is 68+, outlined here. Touch the portal to Stillmoon Temple 0/1 (The Broodlands) The entrance will be marked on your compass (entered in the north-central part of the Broodlands, near the non-instanced entrance to Stillmoon Temple). Kill 20 Stillmoon creatures 0/20 (Stillmoon Temple) Kill 4 infected pumas 0/4 (Stillmoon Temple) Loot 4 Vial of Infected Puma Blood from infected pumas 0/4 (Stillmoon Temple) 4x "an infected puma" are found in this instance of Stillmoon Temple. They are all found in the area of the zone-in point and in the area west of it. Two are in the rooms connected to the zone-in area; another under the gazebo in the westernmost point of the zone; another in the southeast room connected to the gazebo area. The pumas hit for a max ~900; are immune to all crowd control effects; and summon when damaged. The zone respawns, so you don't have to hunt down all four if you don't want. Respawns credit the task too. Note: The iron warders don't count towards the 20 kill requirement. Have one person loot the puma blood and turn them in to Kanetheus Forestwalker to complete. Deliver 4 Vial of Infected Puma Blood to Kanetheus Forestwalker 0/4 (Lavastorm Mountains) Very nice work. We hope the reward was worth the effort. Thank you for helping us. This task by the same name is also offered in the Dark Reign camp by Celrak Blightblood - amiable faction, level 59 (60 for your purposes).
The second step is "Kill 15 Stillmoon Creatures" ( and not 20 ).
Every mob in zone ( like "an infected puma" ), on kill : "Your faction standing with Stillmoon Acolytes got worse. Your faction standing with Kessdona got worse. Your faction standing with Rikkukin got worse".

This says its solo mission it is not belive its standard 3 min 6 max people.

NPC is confirmed, Kanetheus Forestwalker, not Boldger Bristlebeard.

I did this mission twice in 2 days. First with avg lvl 68.75 (lvl 70 bst, lvl 70 mage(me), 68 druid, and 67 enc). I got this mission from Kanetheus Forestwalker. It rewarded 48 crystals and norrath keepers token. Mobs were all lvl 68-69. For this one you need to kill 20 stillmoon and 4 pumas, then loot 4 blood and turn them in to Kanetheus Forestwalker at the end. Same general premiss though broke first room (South East) and killed others during respawn. Mobs hit around 800 for normal, and 1K for puma's. Second mission was avg lvl 67.2(70 mage, 67&66 druid's 67 paladin, 65 enc) This one came from Boldger Bristlebeard, and mobs only hit max about 500 normal, and 600 puma's. This one gave the 34 crystals and 1 token.
Just did mission with 70&67 Rangers, 68 Pally, 66 Zerker, 66 Chanty, 65 Druid (Group Average=67).
Mission comes from Boldger Bristlebeard, not Kanetheus. Kanetheus is for the turn in at the end.
We were only required to kill 15 mobs, 3 Infected Pumas, but still had to deliver 4 vials of blood (making 4 Infected pumas required, as all had one vial each).
Nearest infected from instance zone in was in S.East room (loc 430, 350); in room there's 4 total spawns (3 drakes, 1 infected puma) inside a VERY tight packed area. Lull pulled, broke camp (*pet pull or FD pull also good <3 necros). Repop was ~25 min (did quest once more to verify).
There's also 3 Goblins that spawn near a little waterfall to the West(sometimes a drake will repop in one spawn), 2 statue guards near them (at doorway), one static kirin model mob on platform, and one roamer kirin that walks to the N.West tunnel/room area (7 total mobs in the open area).
Infected were lil tougher than other mobs, Ave hit 140, max 664 (mob Ramp & Enrage)with 68 pal MT, 1740AC and basic defensive AAs.
We found it easiest to break camp, then kill mobs in area for xp, while waitin on repops vs roaming too far in since zone respawns.
There was a second Infected puma on track, it was located in the N.West room off from the same open area (loc+1010,+470). There were 6 total mobs in his room (2x statues, 2x goblins), and 2 drakes + the goat roamer in the room enroute. at least one mob in this puma's room saw thru invis.
Looter died on last Puma, so we had another loot and turn in one vial. We still won, even with two peeps doing vial turn ins to Kanetheus.
Took us 2+ hrs due to miscommunication/deaths on pulls. Breaking the spawns in the S.East & N.West rooms is the key. Indoor zone, no Harmo.
Reward was 34 crystal + Norrath Keeper's Token.
