Goblin Gardener (loot Inscripted Pot)
Master Courier (loot Drake Fertilizer)
Then click the red flower at loc -546, 2108. Place in the Inscripted Pot with Drake Fertilizer and combine.

It is a group mission (3-6 players) that begins with Bianca Galbraith (click for map image) in the Norrath's Keepers camp of the Lavastorm Mountains. Pre-requisites for requesting: - Minimum level 59 - Minimum "apprehensive" faction with Norrath's Keepers Hail her to get a quest selection window pop-up. You have been assigned the task 'Simple Task'. I have for you a simple task. Bring me a flower from a garden. Sure, that garden is on a magically floating island. Yes, that island is the lair of an ancient dragon of trendous power. Of course minions will be everywhere, but all we want is one plant. How hard can that be? There is a small tree that grows a rose they call the Dark Lady. They say it has amazing powers. They also say that it is difficult to transport alive. You need to figure out how to do that. They say that if you don't transport it in the right container with the proper fertilizer it will die. No, I don't really know who "they" are, just bring me that rose alive. Note: This group mission scales to your group's level. The highest is 68+, outlined here. The entrance will be marked on your compass (entered in the northwestern part of the Broodlands). Cross the western bridge, enter the building, and make a left (south) down the hallway where you'll find "Goblin Gardener". This hits for a max ~1,800; has ~62,500 hitpoints; is stunnable; and is immune to mez. Loot an "Inscripted Pot" from its corpse (two-slot container). Inside the garden (which is the large center room not far from the bridge), find and pick up "Dark Lady", a bright red ground spawn in the garden area. (When you are near the Dark Lady, you'll get a task update and an emote.) At this point a timer of sorts starts. Periodically, you will see emotes like this: The Dark Lady withers. It is only a matter of time before it dies. You know you must hurry and find a way to plant it properly. At this time, the "Dark Lady" disappears and you get a different one on your cursor (other example types: "Sickly Dark Lady", "Wilted Dark Lady", "Withered Dark Lady"). There is no indication of how much time you have before the "Dark Lady" dies. Clear the garden and the guardians surrounding it. You will eventually see the emote: A loud, hissing voice shouts, 'What is going on here? Someone shall answer to the Lady of the Tempest for their actions here!' The Master Courier has spawned and will make its way to the garden. Kill Goblin Gardener and Master Courier and loot "Drake Fertilizer" from Master Courier's corpse and loot Inscripted Pot from Goblin Gardener's corpse. Combine the Drake Fertilizer with the "Dark Lady" in the "Inscripted Pot" to produce a "Potted Dark Lady". Take this item back to Bianca Galbraith in the Lavastorm Mountains to complete the task. how do you do the the first step? "touch the portal to the isles" one? Touching it zones you in, but it doesnt update the step (is there another zone in portal besides the one in broodlands, in the northeast of the zone between the 4 stone spires?)
Be sure to go into the instanced zone, not he main one.
This same-named task is offered by Daleynn Spiritshadow in the Dark Reign camp with amiable faction at level 59.

Update:
They DO respawn. look to be a 30+ minute timer. Also mobs (goblins more than others) have a tendency to fall through bridge and keep hitting you while you cant hit back. The exit portal is still broken, so bring a way out with you.

Update. I soloed this twice today with (Lvl 75 mage + merc) without any problems other than the long wait for Master Courier to spawn. In both cases, took 3 hours for Master Courier to appear. The rest of the quest takes 20 minutes.
- With invis on, you can do everything and kill less than 10 mobs, but because of the long wait for the Master Courier I ended up killing dozens and dozens of trash mobs in the building where the garden is, hoping one of them was the PH - but apparently not.
- Easiest part is looting the Inscripted Pot from the Gardener, who is always a static mod in the corridor south of the garden room when the quest starts.
- I can confirm that the zone out works fine now, there's actually a second one right in the building where the garden is located.
- I made the mistake of looting the Dark lady groundspawn too early, despite the posts below to leave that for the end. Sure enough, looting the flower did not spawn the Master Courier and the flower was long dead by the time Master Courier made his appearance. But after getting the Master Courier's drop, I simply abandoned the quest and requested it againm - the second time I simply needed to get the Dark Lady and the other items from my first attempt worked fine for the final combine.
- Final point: I did not notice an emote when approaching the Dark Lady. However, it's easy to spot because it's the only red flower (looks like a muchroom) in the garden. Both times I found the groundspawn at the same spot. It was in the southern section of the garden, on the shrub in the northeast corner.

My group did this also. We each recieved 31 RC. BUT Yes... we couldnt get out of the zone after completed.We went to zone in spot and to the Zone out. Wouldnt let us leave.Our Rogue died and used a AA to res everything then did turn in then we all got booted. This needs fixing.

Have either a porter in your group, or the looter gate out to do turn in. After you get credit for mission, quit task for auto-port.

I had a group of average 68+ although we did not actually finish the mission the reward was for 56 rc's. If somebody can figure out the secret to this one please post it cause 56 rc's is a good amount for 30-45 mins.

I am not sure if you need a certant faction but we did get this quest. was a 60 beast/necro 62 necro 70 shammy/cleric/sk. Wasn't to bad we killed the gardner right in the front the went to the garden. still doing it atm don't belive we gonna loot the flower till after either the garden is cleared or the named pops. we are gettin 31 ebons and a token.

We collected the flower and the fertilizer and combined both in the pot but how do you leave this mission?

As indicated in the task description, return the potted flower to Bianca Galbraith.
With the April 12 patch, the crystal reward was bumped to 56.

That is only with a mostly level 70 group. If you have a mixed 60's/70's group averaging 66 67 the crystal reward is 37

I used to be able to do this trial with a kite group. But now the named summon and AE rampage. Dont try it unless you have a good tank and someone who can handle page tank.
The Master Courier is a timed spawn. So you can delay picking up the rose until you see the emote. He will come to the garden, so now you can pick up the rose and wait for him. There is respawn there, so make sure you have a clear spot.

Your best bet is to clear around the garden area, kill the Goblin Gardener and loot the inscribed pot.
Next clear the inner room 'garden area', until you get the emote.
Master Courier is a Kirin model and will path into the room. Kill him and loot the Drake Fertalizer.
Now grab the flower, put in pot with fertalizer and combine.
This makes the task much easier and has less risk of failure (IE 0% unless you die and can't regroup, rebuff, and beat whatever killed you within the 5 or so hour task limit)
