In the warrior guild in Kaladim there is a dwarf male named Byzar Bloodforge. He is looking for the heads of the ogres Zarchoomi and Corflunk who roam the countryside of Butcherblock. If you ask Byzar "What about Corflunk?" He responds with, don't mention those names, I hate those ogres and would pay handsomely for their heads. He does the same if you ask about Zarchoomi. You must give him both heads, and then he will say he underestimated you and give you experience, faction, some coin and various pieces of bloodforge mail.

You need a decent faction with him to finish the quest (probably amiable)

Byzar Bloodforge says 'What good is one?! I called for the heads of both Corflunk and Zarchoomi!'
Byzar Bloodforge says 'I underestimated you. You are truly a great warrior. I reward you with a piece of my own Bloodforge armor. You would be fine Bloodforge Brigade material. How would you like to [take a little trip] in the name of the Bloodforge Brigade?'

Your faction standing with Storm Guard has been adjusted by 20.
Your faction standing with Kazon Stormhammer has been adjusted by 3.
Your faction standing with Miners Guild 249 has been adjusted by 3.
Your faction standing with Merchants of Kaladim has been adjusted by 5.
Your faction standing with Craknek Warriors has been adjusted by -5.
You gain experience!!
You receive 7 silver from Byzar Bloodforge.
You receive 8 gold from Byzar Bloodforge.

You say, 'take a little trip'
Byzar Bloodforge says 'Yes. You will do. My sister was once engaged to a fellow warrior. He disgraced her and left her crying at the altar. I will have his head for such a slap in the face of my family. His name was Trumpy Irontoe, once a member of the now defunct Irontoe Brigade. I know not where he went. Find his whereabouts and return his head to me. Do so, and I shall make you an honorary member of the Bloodforge Brigade.'

Need missing dialogues, current faction hits if any, /loc of quest mobs.

As a Loyal Paladin of Underfoot, I have completed this quest many times, and have a complete set of the armor, most pieces many times over, on my way to getting the complete set.
The extras i have given away to young dwarves in the area, because it is better than what they will be able to afford for some time.
First, the spawn rates are random, as well as spawning places. However, that said, if Corflunk is killed too quickly, Zarchoomi doesn't spawn. So, it's best, as soon as Corflunk spawns, to follow him, and try to keep other people from killing him too fast, by shouting, or asking in ooc, that he be left unmolested to facilitate Zarchoomi's spawn. Also, he sometimes heads straight for the guards at the crossroads, and they will rush from their posts to kill him, so if he heads that way, you might try to pull him in another direction.
Hope this information is of some use to someone.

Bloodforge Armor

This Quest is ook, BUT.. the armour is only good for Dwarfs so it doesn't do anyone else anygood except for xp and cash if you sell the armour to someone other than the vendors.

The other night someone shouted that Zarchoomi's head was on his/her corpse by the DC zone. I ran over with my little cleric and looted it and was promptly attacked by Corflunk. Maybe killing one triggers the other to spawn?

I don't speak from experience, because I haven't completed the ogre's head quest.. But I saw mention of the one requiring the death of Trumpy Irontoe. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't he more easily killed in the Qeynos Sewers?

I know the sewers can be tough for good aligned characters, but they're relatively easy if you avoid the Necro base.. IMO anyway
where are they?

I was killing goblins at the goblin camp near the dagnors zone for faction with the kaladim guards with my necro. Corflunk walks by regularly, zarchoomi I have only seen twice while killing there, hope this helps you folks who can't track (I being one of them ) happy hunting!

Does anyone know how often and where Corflunk and Zarchoomi spawn? I hung out around the xroads for at least an hour or two last night and found Zarchoomis head, but never saw Corflunk. Did I not wait long enough or was I in the wrong area? If the camp is eight hours, then I'll forget about finding Corflunk's head, it'll take way too long.

I have noticed that the guards will say that the paths are not safe. I have been attacked by them both in several areas of BB. I was even attacked at the GF Zone, but I think some one fled from Zarchoomis to lead her there. Usually I track them so you best bet is to track or get an elf to track them for you. They will be on the paths if they spawn so watch for the warnings. I thought that they were Bandits at first, but that is the tongue quest.

I have been told that they spawn at the abandoned stone tower, but I didn't hang around long enough to check.

In other news, I got Zar's head after a couple months of Corflunk's sitting next to Trumpy's in the bank. Got the boots. Got the Hammer. Hammer went to some druid in Qeynos who's always bugging me if I've got stuff to sell. 35pp is better than the fat 0 a vendor would give me. Boots, however, are going to make a certain Dwarven cleric a little bit tougher. ;)

I don't think they spawn in the same location all the time; however, last night I actually saw Corflunk spawn (the classic "appears-in-midair-and-then-falls-to-the-ground" spawn) as I was traveling north from the Crossroads to Kaladim. He spawned near the crossroads, just a bit south of the next guardhouse north of them (the one near Peg Leg's camp) and to the east of the road. I immediately /ooc'd "Corflunk's up" but nobody seemed to want him - poor guy. ;-)

Hi, I'd be willing to spend a pretty penny on any Bloodforge armor anyone might be selling. Just send tells to Minladar. He's usually in EC, and I'm on the Quellious server.

Well ive been hunting these 2 clowns for a month now. 1 boots, 2 leggings, 2 tunics, 1 bracer, 1 arms, 1 gauntlets, ZERO helmets ... sigh, im 17 now and have outgrown all the armor before I got the piece I wanted! oh well, I cant give up now :)
Zarchoomi

I found Zar standing for quite a while near the entrance to DC. She was just on the other side of the hill from the goblin camp. Spells were tough, but easy once you get past that.

Last night, I was running from GFay to the x-roads and Corflunk attacked me. I'm a lvl 11 ranger and I defeated him with little damage taken. I took the head, because I couldn't remember which classes could complete the quest. I was heading for the druid ring, and by the time I got there, someone shouted "Corflunk's head near the Crossroads." 2 spawns in the same area within 2-3 minutes of each other, Could the spawn be related to Norrath time of day?
Hehehehehehe

I was lucky. A high-elf was wandering neaar Kaladim and gave me a pair of the bracers.
Another quest
# Jun 13 2001 at 6:39 PM Rating: Default

There's another quest right after u finish this quest.
He mentions the following.

I underestimated you. You are truly a great warrior. I reward you with a piece of my own Bloodforge armor. You would be fine Bloodforge Brigade material. How would you like to [take a little trip] in the name of the Bloodforge Brigade?

When u say "I would take a little trip"

He respond the following :

Yes. You will do. My sister was once engaged to a fellow warrior. He disgraced her and left her crying at the altar. I will have his head for such a slap in the face of the family. His name is Trumpy Irontoe, once a member of he now defunct Irontoe Brigade. I know not where he went. Find his whereabouts and return his head to me. do so, and I say make you an honorary member of the Bloodforge Bridage.

If I've not mistaken Irontoe is in OOT (Ocean of Tears) also related to some quest I can't recall.

Actually, Trumpy is in Qeynos. He wanders near the bars and the docks, but you need to be careful, as some of the people nearby will rush to his aid.

If you really want Zarchoomi's head and your on the lanys t'vyl server, I'd be glad to help you out just send me a tell.(I'm not expecting anything in return, I'm just willing to help!) For everyone else, just keep on trying or you can ask a fellow ranger or druid to help you (of course if you have the track ability...use it!). Hope that you all get what you want. Good luck and good hunting to you all! =)
Alright.... this quest is frustrating
# Jun 06 2001 at 1:53 AM Rating: Good
Ok... for those who have wondered, here are some things I have found out. Hope they clear some things up for you.

1) It WOULD be best to have an "amiable" or better faction with Byzar Bloodforge.
2) If you ask him, he only offers the RunnyEye Warbeads quest. This quest is comparable to the Crushbone belt quest, except you need to turn in four at a time. You need to ask him, "What about Zarchoomi" and/or Corflunk.
3) Apparently they spawn at the goblin camp near the zone entrance to Dragnor's Cauldron. Zarchoomi's placeholder is a goblin shaman. I camped it for 3 hours and Zarchoomi and Corflunk DO NOT spawn as fast as everyone says they do. So be patient. And yes keeping the one who spawns first alive is essential to get the other one to spawn...
This is how it seems to apply to the Zebuxurok server as of the date of this post. Happy hunting!

Getting the good stuff
# May 17 2001 at 4:29 PM Rating: Default
The piece Byzar gives you is random, however, he won't (at least, didn't) give you (me) a piece that you already have. I took in Zarch's and Corf's heads several times and got a full set of BF armor. About the same AC as banded, and looks like dark red plate. The helm is sweet, giving 5 to AC, Str, and ALL Saves. It was the last thing I got, however, but it was worth the wait. I'm the best dressed dwarf in the game!
RE: Getting the good stuff
# Jun 03 2001 at 3:40 PM Rating: Default
Was given a duplicate piece the other day. I was first given the boots by a passer by at lvl 2. I began the quest itself around lvl 12. Since starting I have received the mail, both bracers, the armplates and the gauntlets. My last piece was a second set of the armplates. I am still looking for the helm. The red color isn't too bad and the armor is nice for a lower level character...if a bit heavy..
RE: Getting the good stuff
# May 17 2001 at 4:33 PM Rating: Default
To correct myself, the AC is the same as ringmail, but the armor weighs more. Looks sweet though, and I won't drop it for quite some time.

Don't talk to him. Just give him the heads.
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 25 2001 at 12:40 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I posted the waah-waah message below. I didn't see the bloodforge hammer quest started in Kaladim, I just assumed that it started in Qeynos, because I see Trumpy there all the time. Still, it seems a LONG way to go. Oh well, what do I know about armor quality, I'm just a half-elf warrior looking for fun, fights, and f@$#s!
I gotta do this quest in Kaladim for the one in Qeynos?
# Apr 25 2001 at 12:30 PM Rating: Default
I was looking up quests by item and ran across the Bloodforge Hammer quest first. The description says something on the order that I have to do the "ogre head" quest first.... So I have to come all the way from Qeynos, crossing high level territories, cross the Ocean of Tears, and then raise my faction with the dwarves, then kill two ogres, and THEN come back and kill Trumpy??? Hardly seems to be worth the effort...
RE: I gotta do this quest in Kaladim for the one in Qeynos?
# May 22 2001 at 12:41 PM Rating: Default
No way man.. I just now found out about the Ogre head quest and I've done the Trumpy quest like 6 times.. Don't go doin the Trumpy quest unless ya never wanna set foot in SQ again though.. you get totally KOS by the corrupt guards and the regular guards kill ya for fightin the corrupt ones.. It's a conspiracy I tell ya.
RE: I gotta do this quest in Kaladim for the one in Qeynos?
# Aug 29 2001 at 3:58 AM Rating: Decent
I actually had to kill Trumpy in SQ once. He was walking by and aggroed on someone who was AFK and medding while waiting for the boat to Odus. I didn't want to let the guy get whacked by some drunk Dwarf, so I offed ol' Trump. The Corrupt guards didn't like me already, but they still don't have the cahones to come after me. Besides, once you're up to a decent level, there's only a couple of corrupt guards who'd dare attack you.
