Reyfin Malakwa may be found on the ship at +225, +290, +100.

You say, 'Hail, Reyfin Malakwa'

Reyfin Malakwa stares silently out over the ocean towards the magical wards protecting the ship from the unyielding onslaught of the pounding waves. He jumps back terrorized when he realizes your presence. His visage calms a bit when he senses you mean him no immediate harm. He ponders you timidly for a moment and then leans down and begins drawing something in the sea grime that covers one of the boxes. You study his sketch for a moment and begin to understand that it is a rune of sorts. Three arching lines join in the center to form a sort of Y-shape.

All classes can turn in Taelosian Geomancy Stones to Reyfin Malakwa for a spell or discipline depending upon the class. Taelosian Geomancy Stone Jelki may be turned in by all classes, while Taelosian Geomancy Stone Eril and Taelosian Geomancy Stone Yiktu may only be turned in by spellcasting classes.

Reyfin Malakwa shuffles back from you until familiarity dawns on him. You reach forward and hold the stone out in front of you. He tilts his head slightly and studies the stone for a moment before taking it from your hands.

Reyfin Malakwa holds the symbol up over his head and speaks out over the dark waters. He begins to recite some sort of ritual as the runes begin to drip a sticky-looking fluid down on to his hands and arms. The rune begins to glow, softly at first, but it becomes brighter as Reyfin's voice rises. Suddenly, the symbol sublimates into a hovering mass of glowing vapor. Reyfin turns to you and beckons. You hold out your hand and receive the glowing vapor. Almost immediately the vapor solidifies into a familiar shape. Reyfin bends down and begins drawing in the grime once again. You see a pair of jagged lines crossing in the center.

For Taelosian Geomancy Stone Jelki:

Alternate directions to Reyfin Malakwa

For anyone too lazy to spam /l to find the location: Reyfin Malakwa is located on the top deck of the west side of the ship. Go out of the door to the south of the zone in, down the first set of stairs, and head north once you pass Gizzmu the Wise (Erudite). Continue north until you go down a set of stairs. Reyfin is to the left.

"Reyfin Malakwa holds the symbol up over his head and speaks out over the dark waters. He begins to recite some sort of ritual as the runes begin to drip a sticky-looking fluid down on to his hands and arms."

That's the same stuff that drips all over you if you come in contact with the Ultimate Evil from The 5th Element.
Where is this NPC?

Could someone conceivably post something useful, like how a non-tracking class can find this npc easily? Is she next to someone on FIND? Saying "outside on the boat" has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever read, owing to the fact that EVERYTHING in this zone is, in fact, on a boat.

Please replace the listing for Enchanters under Yiktu with "Dreary Deeds" - the spell info leads here, and the posts underneath says it was replaced, but if i hadn't spent 15 minutes looking i wouldn't have figured it out.

GoD spells now tradeable
# Oct 01 2005 at 7:49 AM Rating: Decent
I turned in a eril stone today and received dark echo and it wasnt flagged as no trade, so GoD spells seem to be tradeable now.

DJ,

*Some* GoD spells are tradeable. I'm not sure of what patch, nor the entire spell list, but at some point, SOE made some GoD spells researchable. IIRC, the Ancient line are still no-drop and not researchable.

the paladin wave heal from oow is better, but not technacly a upgrade. the GoD wave heal is on a seperate timer from the OoW/PoP one, therefore you can have 2 wave heals memmed at once.
RE: OOW has upgrades for most classes
# Sep 03 2005 at 12:58 AM Rating: Decent
Turned in this stone today with a Magician and got Elemental Siphon (which is the original spell given by this stone), not Elemental Simulcram (which is the last lvl 70 OOW rune spell)...

Not sure where this info comes from but I'm not sure it is that accurate.
RE: OOW has upgrades for most classes
# Nov 29 2005 at 5:06 PM Rating: Decent
The spells he listed here are the upgrades to the Jeleki spells. Basically, only three classes (monks, necros and palidans) get real use from Jeleki spells if they already have their OoW spells. Since these are usually /random'ed at raids, it would be good if more people realized this.
Handed an item
# May 22 2005 at 7:47 AM Rating: Decent
After handing in my last rune, I got handed a Ragged Cloth Bag (3 item combineable container).
If I destroy the bag and hail, i get handed another one.

Anyone know what this is for?
For Beastlords: Turepta Spirit aka Trushar's Mending
# May 05 2005 at 2:50 PM Rating: Decent
When you turn in the GoD Jelki Stone you get Spell:Turepta Spirit which when scribed into your spellbook becomes Trushar's Mending.

Essentially what happened is that in the BST discussion forums at eqlive the complaint was that while Turepta Spirit (which was the group form of IoS) was a useful spell, the level at which you were likely to obtain it made it largely redundant. So SOE interpreted that to mean that BST's didn't want group IoS and thus they changed it to the healing spell (Trushar's Mending) which is equally redundant since you are likely to have the better OoW heal long before you will get this one.
RE: For Beastlords: Turepta Spirit aka Trushar's Mending
# Jun 05 2005 at 3:54 PM Rating: Decent
Regardlss of what many feel are -> Useful <-or -> Beneficial <- keep ni mind that not everyone buys each expansion. Sony knows this (sorta) thus the need for "redundant" spells that may / may not be usefull or " wise " to have due to a spell from another expansion.
RE: For Beastlords: Turepta Spirit aka Trushar's Mending
# May 29 2005 at 10:23 PM Rating: Default
You must look at the fact that this is a different expansion, so before OOW came out the heal would have been an upgrade.

Also, obtaining these runes is not very hard.

Muada's Mending didn't exist when this was originally changed to Trushar's ...

Handin log Yiktu for cleric

This is a log from turning in a Yiktu stone for the cleric spell Holy Light. No faction hits. Seems to be the same text no matter what class or stone.

For Taelosian Geomancy Stone Yiktu

It is for CASTERS only. WAR/BER/ROG/MNK are not even listed on the usable classes. Remember.. The Yiktu runes are for the spells that used to drop from Sewer trials and the like. They were turned into runes so that if a specific spell dropped and that class already had, it wouldnt be wasted. So - On the above information under Yiktu, you can remove those four classes.

Rogues won't get one until they do the next update, thats what the "Assassin Strike" line was about in the patch message.
Monks get PHANTOM SHADOW
# Mar 14 2004 at 3:46 PM Rating: Default
Monk info listed above is WRONG. The item you have listed, "Earthwalk" is a *vendor bought* spell on the GOD/Abysmal boat.

The monk reward for turning in a stone is "Phantom Shadow", the monk/65 Lull
