You say, 'Hail, Ieandra Pael'

Ieandra Pael says 'Salutations, ______. I'm working on some magic that will protect the ship on the seas. I've never done anything like this before, but I have certainly fashioned new spells and magic over my years on Norrath. I suppose that is why I was asked to help. I met Nedaria many years ago and I believe she trusts me to handle this task. I could use some assistance in collecting some components I need, if you're [interested].'

You say, 'I am interested.'

Ieandra Pael says 'I appreciate your offer to help. I need three griffawn beaks from this area. If you could bring them to me, I will be able to compensate you for your time and effort.'

Griffawn Beaks are a rare drop from A Serene Griffawn. Give three to Ieandra:

Ieandra Pael says 'This is perfect and couldn't have come at a better time, I've very close to finishing up a new magic that may protect the ship.'
You gain experience!!
You receive 8 copper from Ieandra Pael.
You receive 6 silver from Ieandra Pael.
You receive 13 gold from Ieandra Pael.
You receive 7 platinum from Ieandra Pael.

Gathering Beaks In No Time

It took me a relatively short period of time to gather three Griffawn Beaks. Sorry about your streak of bad luck.
This Suks!

I must have spent over 24+ hrs (split into different days)farming griffs and have had only 1 beak drop. For a 25-30 lvl quest it SUKS! A total waste of time and effort. Once again Verant has turned a simple quest into something horrendous.

This is a part of a new series of quests in Nedaria's which are meant to encourage people to hunt in the zone, as it gives extra xp and money for hunting mobs that you would hunt for xp anyway. A lot of RPGs do this, it is very common and quite good practice. You can look at them as a bonus/cash modifier.

And if you're a high lvl camping greenies, you don't deserve anything anyway :)

geiting there.

besides the waterfall entrance, that leaves you up on the mountain, you can port in via the magus'. But not all the magus will port you there, so far i have gotten there from the NRo, SRo, and commons magus. And I KNOW that the magus in everfrost Won't send you there.
It is safer to port in by the magus so that you end up in the dock area.

And as a safety note, I have also found that most All the NPC's are neutral to everyone.. Incuding the creatures.. So don't run to them for help!!

A suggestion tho: If your gonna fight near the dock area, make a hotkey that goes " /target magus /say North Ro" and put it somewhere you can click on it quickly.. then just click it as you run up to the magus there..

The Magus in Butcherblock will get you there.
But going from NL you can go to any Wayfare's camp.
Nedaria zone-in

I've heard that the zone-in is now located behind the waterfall, behind the Oracle in the Brell gnoll cave - although I haven't checked yet myself. Lemme know!

YEs, I have been hunting here a couple days now on Bristlebane server with my 26 ranger and 30 druid, and so far am the only one in zone. The zone in is behind the brell gnolls. So far I have killed just about everything in the zone and have seen no faction hits on anything, and to a ranger and druid on tunare the only things that will aggro are the griffawn's. Hope this info helps you all out.

Could you please tell me which server you are on. After the initial appearance of Nedaria's Landing, the zone has been closed off on the Zeb server. And are you accessing the zone using the tunnel near the river? Thanks.
