Will you [help] me get through this task?' You say, 'How can I help?' Vdrae Qix`Tki says 'Thank goodness! It's very hard to be efficient when I have to hunt, then work the hides, then sew! If you could bring me four basilisk or silverfur hides, I will be able to reward you.' The hides are an uncommon drop, on par with the frequency of polar bear hides. Upon turn in: Vdrae Qix`Tki says 'What a relief! I was just about out of hides to work with it. Thank you! Here is your reward. Oh, did you know that Morden Rasp has had the Grozmok Stone for some time? Several of us knew, but were sworn to secrecy. Morden plucked it right out of the smelly hands of the trolls at Broken Skull Rock, I hear.' You gain experience!! You receive 11 copper from Vdrae Qix`Tki. You receive 10 silver from Vdrae Qix`Tki. Turned in 4 Basilisk Hide today to this dark elf so the quest still works. Basilisk hide were not stackable. I received 8 gold for turning them in.

Recieved only 3 plat, 10 gold, 7 silver and 12 copper pieces from her. Was a fun little task
First off, I think that this zone is an awesome exp zone for someone in the low 20's. If you are at all careful, you can stay alive and solo mobs without a problem. For my 23 Shaman there was about half a blue bubble per kill, either a snake or a wolf (turtles undercon, frogs are easier than turtles).
There is almost no cash in this zone, and, other than all the great wolf hides, no loot. So, these quests provide a little plat for the newcomer.
I like this better than Kurns' and better than PC.

Been hunting here, level 30, with my Beastlord. After dinging 31, I turned in 8 basilik hides and got a blue of experience.
Its a good quest, at the level you hunt here for exp.

For all of the old timers that think these quests are a waste of time, just think back to the time when you were doing the exp grind in LoIO. Anything that would have broken up the heavy stream of pull kill pull kill would have been a welcome change at that time. Also, since they have added many more of these type quests to the zone, virtually everything in the zone can drop something that can be turned in for exp and better than average cash reward. Man the newbies have it easy these days! lol
Anyways, I say "Good job SOE!" on Nedaria's Landing and it's quests, I only regret that my characters lvl has surpassed the need to be in this zone.

Yes there is absolutely no faction hit. Kind of pointless to do the quest with no faction hit.
this is the exact reward I got when I turned in 4 frog skins to that other quest mob. Unless a person is hunting this zone for exp its not worth doing these quests. I had to kill about 25 or so frogs to find 4 skins.
Anybody know of a place to submit a map? I sent Allakhazam and eqatlas.com a e-mail with a map i made of this zone, but I never have heard anything back.

Just did this quest today was really bored at three am lol. Anyway killed the basilisks till I got the four hides to drop. Drop rate for fairly rapid not sure if I was lucky or they just drop fast. Turned the hides and got the message/coin and about one tick of AA exp (54 Ranja BTW). Was hoping it was more than just coin and text but that appears all it was. GoD expansion hasn't come out yet so maybe it has something to do with that at a later date. Anyway short quest about 15 minutes to complete, hope this helps.

Either you got really lucky with your drop rate, or I've been really unlucky.
I was in the zone for a couple hours farming griffon meat. Between griffs I killed many many basilisks and wolves. I got 2 skins from each.

I was killing wolves waiting for the boat to show up and I averaged about 1 hide per 3 killed.
