You say, 'Hail, Fullic D`Vinn' Fullic D`Vinn Glares at you with contempt. 'And what do you want peasant? Can't you see I'm busy? Go make yourself useful and feed yourself to the deathwing [drakes].' You say, 'What drakes?' Fullic D`Vinn says 'The drakes that have been attacking the transports recently. If you had half a brain or sense of observance you would have noticed the Dark swarm that's been ravaging the land recently. I cherish a bit of chaos as much as the next Teir'dal but this is beginning to become an annoyance. Make yourself useful and go slay a few of them and bring me back their [talons] and their [hearts].' You say, 'What talons?' Fullic D`Vinn says 'I'll tolerate your endless yapping if you bring me the talons of any of the deathwing [watchers], [guardians], [furies], [minions] or [lords]. Now leave me before I tear your tongue from your head.' You say, 'What watchers?' Fullic D`Vinn says 'The watchers seem to be the weakest of the deathwings in this area. Bring me their talons and I will reward you.' You say, 'What guardians?' Fullic D`Vinn says 'The guardians are dangerous if you are an inexperienced adventurer. They are much weaker then the furies but still not to be taken lightly. Bring me their talons and I will reward you.' You say, 'What furies?' Fullic D`Vinn says 'The Furies are dangerous indeed. If you plan to hunt them I would suggest finding some companions. Bring me their talons and I will reward you.' You say, 'What minions?' Fullic D`Vinn says 'The minions are the servents of the drake lords that seem to be the driving force behind these attacks. Bring me their talons and I will reward you well.' You say, 'What lords?' Fullic D`Vinn says 'This matter is far too advanced for you to handle..come back after you've slayed a few more large rats boyo.' You say, 'What hearts?' Fullic D`Vinn says 'The hearts of these drakes may prove useful in some arcane rituals I've been exploring. Bring them to me and I will reward you.' | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

He was up last night on Maelin. Was riding by and saw the spell spam from him so I stopped to investigate.
the fact that some ppl would stoop so low as to ks is just a sign of the sad state that many of us find ourselves in.
Maybe they should be punished in certain ways? Maybe lose a precious item? Or lose "x" amount of PP as a "fine" ?... of course such a system would be hard to police and we dont want to punish the poor soul who accidently ks, do we? Or punish those good samaritans that come to your aid when you call for help... just my 2 bits worth of putrid ooze :)

Actually, I like LDON as a solution. I just hope that they add some LDON-like one-shot events. It would be trivial to do, of course, you just spawn an adventure merchant as the quest NPC, and put the event in any of the pre-existing LDON zones. That could make holloween a heck of a lot more fun this year!
This NPC was up for a GM event a few years ago. Occasionally he repops for some reason, even though he's supposed to be perma-killed.
The quest has no solution unless the GMs run the quest script again, spawning the deathwing drakes.

It was done last year for Halloween on the Rathe server.
About three or four Dark Elf GMs showed up in West Commonlands. The GMs told a story with some clues that led to Lake Of Ill Omen, where the drakes were up. People killing the drakes could collect certain body parts and turn them in to an NPC, who would give them Deathwing-related items in exchange.
(Unfortunately, the group I was with made it to the zone too late - We didn't get the right location and went to Innothule, and when we finally did figure out where it was happening, the Druid accidentally ported the group to another wrong location - Most of the drakes were dead, and there was a LOT of KSing going on.)
Fortunately, there had been another event going on involving werewolves spawning in WC and dropping No Drop items, and I got a decent cloak from that.
