Jin Master Sergug says 'Welcome back, young Jin. I hope your training is going well. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up to date on your progress, but should you need advanced training in any individual skills, for I am never too busy to enlighten one of my kin. You may have chosen a life of adventure, a life that will take you far from our home, but never forget your duty to your blood. The Guktan Army needs your growing powers. To remind you of this and school you in the way of our people, I will tell you something of [this place].' You say, 'tell me of this place' Jin Master Sergug says 'The fetid land we now live on of holds many evils. Trolls and other evil ilk still wander the Innothule Swamp, ready to feast on Froglok flesh. Their allies, the ogres, infest the Feerrott to the south, vying with the cursed Lizard men in a lasting contest of evil. Our lands stand distant from the other good races, separated by wastelands and deserts. Our army is our only defense. But that is enough. I am the teacher of young [froglok wizards]. You say, 'I am a froglok wizard' Jin Master Sergug says 'That is your path? Good. Then we must begin immediately for time is short. The arcane path ahead of you is fraught with dangers, many of them of your own making. I will guide you as I can, so [listen well]. You say, 'I listen well' Jin Master Sergug says 'This Arcane Crucible will allow you to combine [various components] to form a basic magical mesh. This mesh, when combined with the proper mold and worked in a forge, will allow you to create your own Armor of the Jin Initiate. You say, 'which various components' Jin Master Sergug says 'These are not the usual components used in spells. Look instead in Innothule Swamp for your pieces. The many enemies and vermin that stalk that bog hold items which are only trash to others. But to you they will eventually become treasures. When you are ready to attempt making your armor, return and tell me what you [wish] to make and I will instruct you. I can teach you the recipes and give you the proper molds for the Armor of the Jin Initiate [Headband], [Vestment], [Armwraps], [Bracer], [Handwraps], [Leggings], and [Sandals]. You say, 'I wish vestment' Jin Master Sergug says 'The true mark of an initiate and a banner to the world of our growing might. To make it you'll need a Pristine Bull Alligator Hide, Bull Alligator Spines, a Giant Moccasin Eye and some Spiderling Silk. When you have the proper basic mesh in hand, take it to a forge along with this mold to finish your Vestment of the Jin Initiate. I have leveled up a cleric to level 13 almost 14 and have all of the armor except the breastplate and helm. The first bull alligator I took solo dropped a pristine hide, 50 since, only teeth and meat...frustrating to say the least, also never seen a pristine moccasin scale nor a bleeder wing so I keep on looking would be nice to know what they look like.

Ok folks...I've been killing these dang bull aligators all day, not one prestine bull aligator hide drop, and the kobolds must have faction up the ying yang from killing me lol. Anyone know if I'm croaking up the wrong tree or if I'm am actually supposed to kill 8 million bull aligators before one of them graces me with a prestine hide?

You can get a pristine aligator hide off regular aligators. I haven't seen a pristine bull alligator hide if that is indeed what you need. I needed 2 bull aligator spines to complete my initiate armor and it took me 3 days to get just 1 of them. My only other 2 points of advice is....
1) Check every single merchant in Gukta and the 1 outside to the left of the entrance in the swamp.
2) Go to the North West part of the swamp and kill all the aligators you see. That is where my last item started dropping. (Must be their way of making sure you hit all of the swamp, in all it's glory) Careful though cause you'll come across lot's of Exiles and Troll Invaders.

2) Go to the North West part of the swamp and kill all the aligators you see. That is where my last item started dropping. (Must be their way of making sure you hit all of the swamp, in all it's glory) Careful though cause you'll come across lot's of Exiles and Troll Invaders.

Hey thats right... I forgot about that. I got my Great moccasin fang of a normal moccasin, I didn't think it would work for alligators too...
