You say, 'Hail, Kor Master Gloorg'

Kor Master Gloorg says 'Welcome back, young Kor. I hope your training is going well. Unfortunately I have been unable to keep up to date on your progress, but should you need advanced training in any individual skills, I am here to help you with that. As well, I am here to guide you through your growth as a Cleric in the Guktan Army. With the skills that you learn here, you will be better prepared to serve the Army. If you do indeed plan on following the path of a [Cleric], I have some tasks that you will need to complete, if it suits your interest.'

You say, 'I plan on following the path of a Cleric.'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'Excellent! I will give you a list of items to collect, and then combine in this magical assembly kit. This will create a material that you will use to craft a suit of armor that will protect you from the various dangers of Norrath, for years to come. If you are ready to begin your task, I will give you the assembly kit, as well as instructions for collecting the necessary items to craft your armor. Are you ready to receive your [assembly kit]?'

You say, 'I am ready to receive my assembly kit.'

You receive a Kor Recruit's Assembly Kit.

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'Here you are ______, take this assembly kit, it is what you will use to combine the different items required to craft your own Kor Initiate's armor. Different items will be required to craft the different pieces of armor. These items will be available from both our outpost, as well as the training grounds near here. When you are ready to receive a recipe for a specific material, simply tell me which armor piece you [wish to craft]. I hold the recipes for Kor Initiates [Helms], [Bracers], [Boots], [Armguards], [Legplates], [Gloves] and [Breastplates]. Keep in mind that the items required to make some of the larger pieces of armor will be a bit more difficult to get. You may want to wait until you are more experienced before attempting to obtain the components.'

You say, 'I wish to craft Boots.'

Kor Master Gloorg says, 'A pair of boots would be an excellent choice, especially if you plan on doing any extended training in the training grounds. These boots offer excellent protection from the elements, as well as excellent support for your feet. To create the material needed to craft your boots, you will need to gather two kobold scalps, an alligator hide, and a giant moccasin fang, and combine them in your assembly kit. Once you have the correct material, you will need to forge the items together, along with this mold, to craft your Boots of the Kor Initiate.'

Need /loc of Kor Master Gloorg.

Correction: Kobold Talons not Kobold Scalps

You need Kobold talons off the Kobolds on the island on the Feerott side of the zone.

No no, it is scalps.

Talons i believe are for warrior and shammy quests.

Tho again no entirely sure. I just know they aren't used in the cleric quests!

Anyone actually loot a giant moccasin fang?

Killed many many snakes. While I have gotten a Giant Snake Fang, I NEVER have gotten a giant moccasin fang.

Giant moccasin fang

Is this just ultra rare from giant water moccasins? I have killed tons and no sign of one. I had thought the giant snake fang was it but that was not able to combine.

Let me know if you got yours from a giant water moccasin or if it was something else that drops it.

Scalp Drop

This may sound elementary but.. what drops the kobold scalps? or where? I have killed many but have never seen a scalp.

they drop off of 'a kobold'. you can find a whole island (5 - 7 of them at a time) at the lower right hand corner of the map, right at the edge. make sure to bring a friend, they come at you 2 at a time.

What Items to use
# Mar 03 2003 at 4:52 AM Rating: Decent
I've gotten the material and the mold but what else do you need to combine the items? ive tried the mold, material, water and give or take a smithing hammer in a forge. I maybe doing something stupid or misreading somethign along the lines but any help would be nice.

Well since no one seems to know, ill answer my own queston thanks to the great people on brell who are very helpful in the zones. You just need your mold and material to make this BUT you must use the forge inside of the exchange building since the one outside is a cultural forge. I shall edit this post tomorrow w/ stats for the boots.
What Charm?

What charm? From where?
RE: What Charm?
# Mar 05 2003 at 3:36 PM Rating: Decent
What charm is this? I got the brooch when doing the initial quests. I finished the quests and they gave me an earring. When does this brooch become a charm? Is it after the high seer's quest where you have to go into guk??

Any info would be appreciated.

The charm is irrelevent to the armor quests. When you first hail your trainer he gives you a charm and sends you off on a quest that involves running around and doing errands for various NPCs. The second time you hail him (even if it is immediately after the first time) he will start the armor quest dialogue. The only connection it has with the armor quests is that they are given by the same NPC
