This quest begins with Senina Jolik in Erudin.

You say, 'Hail, Senina Jolik'

Senina Jolik Senina looks into your eyes; a worried look comes over her beautiful face. 'Hello, stranger, welcome to Erudin. I would invite you to browse my store, but alas my latest supply shipment has not come in. I am very worried. Perhaps if you have the time, you could [assist] me with this predicament?'

You say, 'I will assist you.'

Senina Jolik says 'You would really help me, a complete stranger? You are kind. If you could help me I would certainly reward your noble efforts! But I am getting ahead of myself. A shipment of very valuable supplies was supposed to be here a week ago. However, they have not arrived and I fear the worst. If you can, please go to the Port Authority here in Erudin and talk to Jordin Sretin. He handles the paperwork for all ships coming and leaving the city. I must wait here for my father to return. He went to Qeynos to check if they have seen the ship. Please ask him if he has seen the ship, The Light's Glory.'

You say, 'Hail, Jordin Sretin'

Jordin Sretin says ''Welcome to the Port of Erudin. What can I help you with today?''

You say, 'Have you seen the Light's Glory?'

Jordin Sretin shuffles through some paperwork that is strewn messily before him. 'The Light's Glory, let's see. Yes it is a merchant ship headed from Freeport to Erudin. Yes it should have been here a week ago. Seems we have had a couple ships disappear as of late. Rumors tell of increased pirate activity. Seems none of the local guards wants to get involved in investigating this. Any assistance you could provide would be most appreciated. I suggest that you travel to Erud's Crossing and talk to a Kerran named Nifta. He lives near the dock on the isle and has a great wealth of knowledge of the sea and ships that pass through the crossing. Ask him if he has seen The Light's Glory.'

Go find Nifta.

You say, 'Have you seen the light's glory?'

Nifta says 'The Light's Glory? Yes I know of that ship. I have seen it many times. Many ships come through here on their way to Erudin. I hear many stories, many tales of the ocean. [Bad news] is all I have for you this day however.'

You say, 'What bad news?'

Nifta says 'Your ship left our dock almost a week ago. I watched the ocean that night, as I do every night. Your ship was attacked as it left the dock. There was a big battle. I saw many Erudites thrown overboard. The ship was captured and taken away with the pirate vessel. What became of your ship, I do not know. You could perhaps swim out and take a look for any clues.'

Kill various undead zombies in the Gulf of Gunthak until you get a Crate of Supplies to drop. Take this item to Senina Jolik.

Senina Jolik hugs you. 'I cannot believe you did it. My father and I thank you for helping to find our missing goods. They are a bit wet but I think they are mostly salvageable. My father gave this to me long ago, but I want you to have it for your bravery. Stop by anytime and say hi!'

You receive a Fluorite Stone Earring.

I am an Erudite Shadowknight lvl 52.
I con indifferent to the guards in Erudin..Senina gave me the quest I bought back the crate gave it to her and she got a nasty attitude saying she would not ever help one of my ilk.

I coulda killed her but I just laughed a little and left. Apparently she does not like either followers of Cazic Thule or Shadowknights regardless of what god they follow.

Erudin is old world so this trick might still work. Trying Feigning in front of her and then doing the turn in. This was "fixed" in Kunark and later expansions.

I did this quest largely as a result of wanting to find out what the purpose of the crate of supplies was. I kept getting those in Gulf of Gunthak while fighting undead on the beach. After a little research, I followed the steps leading to turning in the crate of supplies in Erudin and got the earring.

Has anyone sent the screenshot in to Allkhazam yet? I have been trying to add the Flourite Stone Earring to my character's inventory and the item has not yet appeared in the database.

At any rate, it's a decent earring for very little trouble. It seems to me you could just get the crate (lots of them rotting in Gunthak), go turn it in and get the earring without having to run to the island in Erud's Crossing or anything.

A Crate of Supplies drops off of Emaciated Zombies on a fairly regular basis - slightly less than common but definitely not rare. I see them about every fifteen kills. And for the amount of those beasts in Gunthak that's a lot. Get one turn it in an get a nice earring!!

Don't know anything about a shark attack or some wild goose chase or gettin attacked by an NPC tha be bugged. -- Did have problems findin Senina this last time Ah went on me own - but oh well. Notin's perfect.

No faction hits from the quest. I used the secret handshake, so indiff faction.

OK the troll wants safe passage to the mainland yes ?
Who is in the port authority area on the mainland who could arrange this for you ?
You got it ..
Hail Jordin Sretin.
you say "How do I get safe passage ?"
Jordin Sretrin says "Fine, we will bargain with this despicable troll".Jordan quickly scrawls something down on a note."Take this back to the troll. It will buy him a safe trip to Antonica"
You recieve 'A note of safe passage' Lore Nodrop ID as Item Lore:'A note of safe passage'
Hand the shipwrecked hatestorm sailor the note.
a shipwrecked hatestorm sailor says "Dis be gud.Better not trick me,becuz I get angry and it not good when me get angry.Me saw a lot of da loots come up to da beach.Da troll zombee mens come to da loots and take all.I not fights dem.Dat be truble dere."
Typical I was hoping for the amulet as I already knew where the blades dropped.
Not to worry I will go spank some troll zombies and try to find the amulet I guess.
Oh blades I am supposing are Erudin Defenders Blades and they drop rarely off any troll zombie near Hates Fury. You will see them wielding one if they have it.
No idea about the amulet of Elisi's.

Very good work. THat actually links up all the parts to the lights glory quest, as it tells you were to find the crate of goods to complete the quest. The amulet and blades seems to me to be another quest completely.

I'll have to do a run thru of the quest from beginning to end and get screenshots of all the quest items and a full text to submit as a completed qeust. UNless someone beats me to it. Good work for all that helped solved this.

You are right about the blades and Elisi's medallion being another quest.I think they are all linked though. The fact that Elisi appears to have gone down with the Light's Glory and that the blades needed for her quest drop off troll zombies is a little too much coincidence for me.As troll zombies looted everything off the Light's Glory it only makes sense. They may not be linked in anything more than storyline but I think there is a connection there.
Also I will point out that the quest giver eats anything so do not try "testing" anything you cannot afford to lose.
I have not found anything in Hates Fury or Nadox on any troll zombies that even remotely looks like Elisi's medallion.

To submit information click on the link in the upper left menu under MAIN >> SUBMIT INFORMATION. It should bring up your email client (outlook or whatever you use) with the site address already in the send to box. Remember to fill in as much info as you can, such as starting zone, starting npc, approx level, text, whether the quest has been solved or not, ect. The more info the better, and the sooner it can be posted.

Thats for new info or quests, there is also a link under each item/quest that you cna use to send updates, or corrections. The "Send a correction" link will add the item/quest database number to your message so its easier for them to know what you are trying to correct.

I am dubious to Jordin in erudin. She still gives me the opening of the quest and the final turn in works fine, but last night when i got the ship's manifest from the undead sailors in erud's crossing and tried to turn it in, all the happened was she took it and said thank you. I did not get the rest of the speech or any experience as Tuppen noted. So either that turn in has a faction requirement, or it was broken in one of the most recent patches. I will kill some kolbolds and try it again with indifferent faction.
RE: Faction notes
# Mar 01 2003 at 12:50 AM Rating: Decent
Jordin is the male inside the building at the port in Erudin.

You may have given the female...the originial quest giver (Senina) the manifest since you refer to Jordin as she.

I couldn't find Senina on track the other evening when I turned in the manifest to Jordin. Someone here said that she wanders, but I was unable to locate her again at all, so it is possible that they broke the quest.

I also talked to the troll in Gunthak that someone mentioned. Has anyone had any luck finding a note for him to get safe passage?

You are right.. I gave the manifest to the wrong person. Guess I didn't read the post good enough, even though i read it a couple times. :)

And no.. I have not had any luck figureing out the note that the hatestorm troll wants in gunthak.

Quote:
There's another new quest in Erudin, upstairs in the port authority building is a woman whose friend has vanished after dealing with someone in Qeynos (Bear with me, I can't recall the details right now). You go to Qeynos to pick up some papers, when handing them in to this woman you get a new errand, but this time nothing happens when you complete it.

With two friends, I have actually carried this quest through to the point where the fellow in Qeynos ends up attacking because he thinks you are prying to much regarding the missing woman.

Had to kill him, but because I play on FV, whatever he had on him "poofed" due to the Trivial Loot Code. I am going to attempt this again this evening. When I get a chance, I will go back through my logs and post all the interactions involved in the quest.

EDIT: Still haven't retried it, but here are the logs of each step:

In Erudin:

Brianna Falsruinay says 'Hello Traveler, I am afraid I don't recognize you to be a local around these parts although I could have been buried in my work. I have been quite busy since [Elisi] turned up missing.'

Eliezer says, 'Who is Elisi?'

[Tue Feb 25 20:07:33 2003] Brianna Falsruinay says 'Elisi Nasin is a very well known enchanter and courier from Erudin. It is part of her trade to travel to Qeynos and share knowledge with the residents of the Order of Three. She often travels once or twice a month to deliver and pick up her most recent workings. However, she still has not returned from her most recent [travel]. We fear the worst for her; pirates have been rampant around these parts lately. We should send [someone to Qeynos] soon but have not had the time to do so.'

You say, 'I will travel to Qeynos'

Brianna Falsruinay says 'Your offer is quite gracious Tuppen, I do have a good feeling about you. If you wish to help us figure out what has happened to Elisi please travel to Qeynos. I believe the person she used to exchange magic with was named Jalorin. He is a member of the Order of Three so you should be able to find him there. Present him with this medal so that he may know you are sent from us. Please return to me if you should discover anything about Elisi's disappearance.'

(She gives you a medal – I didn’t think to make a note of its name)

In Qeynos:

(After giving him the medal, he says something about Brianna trusting you. I couldn’t find it in my logs)

Eliezer says, 'I was sent from Erudin'

Jalorin Tar`Visgur says 'Well what is it you have been sent for? Go ahead I don't have all day I must get these [incantations] to the council and I am not finished with them yet.'

Eliezer says, 'What incantations?'

Jalorin Tar`Visgur says 'You certainly do not look like you could read the scrolls I have been working on so I am wondering why you are questioning what they are. I am waiting for some scrolls from my friend Elisi. The last time I saw her she gave me this [parchment] but I am waiting for her to complete it, would you be able to [return] it to Brianna for me? It is quite clear that she trusts you so I suppose I should as well.'

Eliezer says, 'I will return the parchment to Brianna'

Jalorin Tar`Visgur says 'Very well here you are. If we are done here please excuse me for I have much work to do.'

(He gives you a parchment – again, I didn’t note its name)

In Erudin:

(After giving her the parchment)

Brianna Falsruinay says 'Jalorin gave this to you? This is quite odd because this is not Elisi's handwriting and there is clearly something wrong. I really do think for some reason that Jalorin is involved so if you are [still willing to help] I would like you to help me find out if he is being truthful. I must warn you though, if Jalorin is infact involved with her disappearance this could get dangerous.'

Eliezer says, 'I am still willing to help'

Brianna Falsruinay says 'Very well Eliezer, please take this note to Jalorin. I would like him to provide us with some of Elisi's scrolls that she has brought him recently. If he can't provide you with the scrolls I have listed here then I believe he is withholding some information and we could alert the Qeynos council of Jalorins possible involvement.'

(She gives you a note – still didn’t think to note what it was called)

In Qeynos:

(After giving him the note)

Jalorin Tar`Visgur says 'Brianna must think I am stupid to trust a complete stranger with the most powerful spells I have ever collaborated on with Elisi. I will not give you the parchments that she asks for, but I will give you a fair warning to stay out of my business. If you do not leave me be and [forget about Elisi], I will grow quite angry.'

Eliezer says, 'I will not forget about Elisi'

Jalorin Tar`Visgur says 'You know, Elisi was a bit like you she didn't know when to quit. You and her will soon share the same [fate] I should think.'

You say, 'What Fate?'

Jalorin Tar`Visgur tries to punch YOU, but misses!

When you ask about Elisi's fate, Jalorin starts attacking you. One Ice Comet (1120) got him down to no visible life but he was still alive and in the time it took me to cast Markar's Clash, he had regenerated a nice chunk of it but it still killed him.

Looted a Faded map of the sea. (Sorry, forgot to check the Item Lore.)

Turned it in to Brianna in Erudin.

Brianna Falsruiay says 'Oh yes something is extremely wrong. It is at least good news that you have disposed of Jalorin. I knew he had to be involved in this one way or another. This map appears to have some dull writing on it but I cannot make it out correctly. While you were gone, my husband reminded me that Elisi always wore her medallion given to her by her mother and her guards carried the finest blade ever presented to a Sentinel of Erudin. If you could find 3 of these guardian blades along with Elisi's medallion I believe that we could come to a conclusion on Elisi's whereabouts. The sad news is that if you should recover these items there is no doubt in my mind that she is dead because she would never give up her medallion willingly. Oh and here i sthe map you took from Jalorin, I have no use for it.

Faded map of the sea. (Item Lore: BROKUN SKUL ROK.)

I have not seen anything named Elisi's Medallion or anything similar. Nor have I seen any guardian blades. Has anyone out there seen them?

I got the same results that you did when I went back to Qeynos. hehe. Funny, I had a wizard with me who brought him down with one spell, too.

I haven't found the blades either. Hunted in Dulak and found Silver medal of service and I have heard that others are finding similar medallions. Identify tells nothing more about the one I got my hands on.

Guess we can keep on looking.

I checked further into things on test center and the quest does continue in eruds crossing.. this is the message from nifta.

You say, 'Hail, Nifta'
You say, 'have you seen the light's glory?'
Nifta says ''The Light's Glory? Yes I know of that ship. I have seen it many times. Many ships come through here on their way to Erudin. I hear many stories, many tales of the ocean. [Bad news] is all I have for you this day however.''
You say, 'what bad news?'
Nifta says ''Your ship left our dock almost a week ago. I watched the ocean that night, as I do every night. Your ship was attacked as it left the dock. There was a big battle. I saw many Erudites thrown overboard. The ship was captured and taken away with the pirate vessel. What became of your ship, I do not know. You could perhaps swim out and take a look for any clues.''

Swimming out near the docks resulted in...
You have become better at Swimming! (1)
A killer shark bites YOU for 97 points of damage.
You have been knocked unconscious!
You have been slain by a killer shark!

Hehe.. I was on test and only level 1.. but this proves the quest does continue. I don't remeber the level on the killer sharks there, I believe some can be in the mid 40's or maybe higher. There was at least 2 sharks, if not more swimming around the end of the docks, so this may take some help to complete the next step.

I got just a bit further along with this quest. Posting information starting with Nifta below:

You say, 'Hail, Nifta'

You say, 'Have you seen the Lights Glory?'

Next, we found 4 undead in the waters on the backside of the island: Two undead erudite sailors and two undead troll sailors. They were indifferent when conned. Killed all four and one dropped a lore “a ship’s manifesto”. Returned to Erudin and handed the “a ship’s manifesto to Jordin Sretin who said the following:

Jordin Sretin says ''You say you found this where The Light's Glory was supposedly last seen? Let me take a look at it. Hrmm, yes. It appears that the ship that attacked The Light's Glory was called, The Hatestorm, named after its captain, Hrogar Hatestorm. The Hatestorm was heading home to the Gulf of Gunthak on Broken Skull Rock.' Jordin puts the parchment down. 'Broken Skull Island. I have heard of this place. It is a haven for trollish pirates and other assorted scum. The Kerrans of Stonebrunt have been overheard talking about a strange ship that recently appeared near the dock that takes travelers to some unknown destination. This could be the way there. If you are still interested in solving this predicament for us, I would suggest heading there to investigate.''

I had went back to erud's crossing to see about killing some more of the undead sailors, but I wasn't able to kill them by myself with no Kei, they have some ungodly regen rate. With immolate and drifting death on them thier hitpoints were staying even. So I decided just to head off to Gunthak and see if I could come up with anything there. Although I hadn't gotten thru the middle steps to get to Gunthak thru the story, in Gunthak out on the beach with the rest of the undead trolls, sailors, and other mobs, we killed a pestilant troll zombie which was around level 30-35. THey seemed to have approx 700 hitpoints, and was hitting a 53 pally for 10-50 hitpoints. The third one we killed dropped "A crate of supplies." We killed several things and I didn't see another crate drop off anything, so not sure if the pestilent trolls are the only ones that drop it. I took this crate back to Erudin and handing it to senina resulted in the completion of the quest with the following text.

Senina Jolik hugs you. 'I cannot believe you did it. My father and I thank you for helping to find our missing goods. They are a bit wet but I think they are mostly salvageable. My father gave this to me long ago, but I want you to have it for your bravery. Stop by anytime and say hi!'
You gain experience!!

She also gives you "Flourite Stone Earring" with the following stats. AC 3 AGI 5 MANA 5 SvD 5 SvC 5 SvP 5 wt 0.1 All/All size tiny. Also Magic/lore. The experience I got though was 5% at level 45 (one blue bub)
I don't think that there was any faction modifactions with the turn in.
I was too tired to get pics and all the info last night, and wanted to find the crate of supplies again to get a pic of it also, but those are the completion details. I'll try to find out what the hatestorm troll has to say today.

In the Gulf of Gunthak is a shipwrecked hatestorm sailor, loc is -941, -1127 his conversation is as follows:

a shipwrecked hatestorm sailor regards you indifferently -- You would probably win this fight..it's not certain though.

You say, 'Hail, a shipwrecked hatestorm sailor'

a shipwrecked hatestorm sailor says ''Wot do you want? I be tired after [big trouble].' This Troll's speech gives you the impression that he is not the smartest being you have ever dealt with.'

You say, 'What big trouble?'

a shipwrecked hatestorm sailor says ''Me's and me crew come to dock here but a big storm come and smash our ship. I thinks me the only one alive now. Da ship and all [loots] are now gone.''

You say, 'What loots?'

a shipwrecked hatestorm sailor says ''Da loots from da other ship dat we attacked. Dat ship gone now too becuz of da big storm. ' An almost sly look seems to grow across the troll's scarred face. 'Yous wants da loots? Mebbe me can helps you if you can [help] me?''

You say, 'What help?'

a shipwrecked hatestorm sailor says ''Now dat I have no ship, methinks dat I will have ta work in da mines agin. Me not want that. Dere be no ale in dere and me luvs da ale. You gets me da [safe passage] to da maynland and mebbe me can tell you more about da loots.''

You say, 'What safe passage?'

a shipwrecked hatestorm sailor says ''I dunno. Mebbe you can gets me a note dat says me can ride on a ship to da maynland or sumthing.''

Graet work, thanks.. we almost have all the pieces put together finally. The erudite as you first zone in talks about finding room on his return ship if you need to go back to stonbrunt, maybe with the right wording he will give a note of some sort for passage back. I'll try to see if that will link up the ends.

There is a sunken ship in the waters just off the shoreline of the island nifta is on. It is guarded by zombie sailors, which are green to level 45. Somewhere else, there are undead troll sailors and undead erudite sailors, which are dark blue to level 45.

I tried killing the killer shark near the docks, but they didn't have anything special. I am still working on trying to explore the boat and will update more when i find anything.

Edit.. killed the undead troll and erudite sailors and they all dropped nothing. On the sunken ship is Yun assistant Maldok, a frogluk surrounded by four zombie guardians, which I couldn't target, but where green on tracking. After you hail him here is his speech.

Yun Assistant Maldok says 'Were you sent by Kintok? What's that you say? You don't know who Kintok is? You will have to excuse me, I would much rather remain here in captivity then to perhaps be delivered into my enemies grasp!''

At this point, I am stuck. I can't get any more responses from him about kintok, nor from nifta. I'll assume Kintok is the next key if anyone can find him.

Kintok is a Shaman guildmaster out in Innothule who I couldn't get to respond about anything. All he told me was that he was waiting for someone more attuned to the spirits. I'm thinking it's a Froggie shammie quest, not related to the Light's Glory.

I agree with that. After the further posts, I'd agreee kintok and tun assistant Maldok are a seperate quest from the lights glory. Nifta is directing us to the undead troll/erudite sailors and not the sunken ship with the captive frogluk on it. Guess we have another mystery to solve with Kintok and Maldok now too :)

Just a thought, once this quest is implemented( aka LoY is active) and you talk to Nifta and then swim out into the water, you may have to kill the sharks. I know they have been slain before, but maybe talking to her will trigger a drop in one of the sharks. I mean the Erudited fell into that water and probobly found those sharks as well. So that may be a decent place to look as well. Perhaps from there you can talk to the Quest giver, hand over what you found and perhaps be sent to find the pirats. Cant wait to see how this turns out. I know I will be trying.

I'm guessing that it's not fully initiated on the Live servers, only on Test, but (as others have said) it will probably go live with LoY.

How did a ship get from Freeport to Erudin? You may as well as how the Dwarves and Gnomes originaly traveled from Faydwer to Velious. Don't assume they have to use zones like we do ;)

I agree that this quest is definately relating to the new zones in the upcoming expansion, and probably won't be solvable until it's out.
I would be interested in seeing if you can find a new quest npc in Freeport however, perhaps they have the ships route, which will of course lead you to the Gulf of Gunthak and that area.
You probably have to go to Dulak's Harbor or somewhere and kill the pirate that stole her shipment.

Another new quest

There's another new quest in Erudin, upstairs in the port authority building is a woman whose friend has vanished after dealing with someone in Qeynos (Bear with me, I can't recall the details right now). You go to Qeynos to pick up some papers, when handing them in to this woman you get a new errand, but this time nothing happens when you complete it.

I'd assume that the proper comment to get Nifta to talk would be "Have you seen the Light's Glory?"
HOWEVER... Since this quest comments on pirates, I would also wager that it is a Legacy of Ykesha quest, and therefor not completable until the expansion comes out, and maybe not even until you have the expansion registered.

Just my opinion. Could be wrong. =P
