Goona Seesoo says 'Hello, ______. Heard about my special armor and couldn't resist visiting eh?'

You say, 'what special armor'

Goona Seesoo says 'I have learned how to make a light-weight armor out of a particular type of fungus that can be found in Innothule. It is very nice armor for an aspiring adventurer. Do you wish for me to craft you some?'

You say, 'i do wish for you to craft me some'

Goona Seesoo says 'I can make you a piece of armor, but first you will need to gather some Fungus Clumps. They only grow on the Fungus Man Watchers in the swamp. If you come across four of these clumps, hand them to me and I will make you a piece of armor.'
Goona Seesoo says 'Thanks, but I need four Fungus Clumps to make a piece of armor for you.'

Goona Seesoo says 'Thanks, but I need four Fungus Clumps to make a piece of armor for you.'
Goona Seesoo takes the clumps of fungus from you and begins to sew them together at a manic pace. Before you know it, Goona is handing you a piece of armor. Here you go. May Marr's blessing be upon you and if you need more armor, bring me four more Fungus Clumps!

You gain experience!!

You get a piece of Fungus Flesh Armor.

Does this quest still exist after the trolls took Grobb over once more?

If it does, it isn't handed out by Goona Seesoo, seeing as how he's dead.
Woven Armor drops are better and same rarity

Been leveling a froglok shaman in the swamp from one to present level of nine. I have gotten only three clumps in that time. But I have gotten two woven drops for the chest and legs that are better ac and same weight. I wouldn't waste any time on this quest.

A waste

Why bother? Everyone's newbie quest armor is better than this. The only reason I can see for doing this is if the experience is really good, which I can't see it being.

Don't bother

Fungus Man Watchers are extremely rare, and they don't always drop the clumps. It took my level 47 shaman an hour per clump.

The fungus clumps should drop off any mushroom, including the corpse spores (really common static spawns) or they should change this armor to be 2x the AC and some stats.

Just my opinion though, maybe to some newbie this armor is great, but it seems like the amount of time you spend finding all the darn watchers you could be leveling. You only need to be level 13ish in a group to kill the patogs which drop this armor. Or 15+ to get a group to kill bandits which drop banded armor.

Don't even bother doing this if you are level 16 just go to Paludal Caverns and kill some fungal fiends if u only want the armor. If you want the faction just go do some other quests, this is just a waste of time.

Just my opinion.

Turning in the 4 fungus clumps is NOT worth the armor you get. You can sell the clumps to a vendor for close to 1 1/2 plat. Persomally, I don't think what is essentially cloth armor is worth 4 to 6 plat each.
Smiley: disappointed

These are NOT rare spawns, kill a fungus man tracker and a watcher will spawn right in his place, they were the only ones that dropped the Fungus Clumps too. In all this quest took me 15 to 30 minutes to complete.

I have killed several trackers and have yet to see a watcher.
