In order to reach the Seventh Hammer, you must beat all six trials. After you get all six Marks from the trials, go up to any of the Tribunal with them in your inventory.

You say, 'I seek knowledge.'

The Tribunal tells you, 'Most impressive. It has been long since a mortal has shown such prowess.' It considers you for a long moment. 'There is one final test that you must undergo.' A gleaming metal disc appears in your hand. 'Hold up the Mark of Justice as you enter the portal, and prepare for your judgement.'

This will give you the seventh mark, The Mark of Justice, with which you click on a blue exit portal to get to the room containing the Seventh Hammer, whom you must then fight. (To port over, hold the key on your cursor and click the "U" key on your keyboard. You must be in a group to be able to zone in)

As a side note, the Symbol of Order is required as part of the Monk Epic 1.5/2.0 quest.

Note that you do NOT need to go visit Mavuin before doing each trial. He's only needed to acquire the PoP progression flag for doing ONE trial. So you can avoid that long run back and forth to his cell, and the trash clearance required, if you want to tackle additional trials.

I did that and entered a room where all the portals were red. The group was a wizard, a shaman, a rogue, and a necromancer. I had a tank merc and a healer merc up. The untargetable mobs around would cast a spell but I never saw the Seventh Hammer to start a combat. I put away the mercs but still the Seventh Hammer never showed up.

I was able to solo all the trials with my 70 monk. 13k hp, 1900AC 800AA. Had my healer merc. Was pretty easy. I don't think I ever dropped below 70% health.

Duo'd the Seventh Hammer with an 85 shaman and his tank merc. About an 8 minute fight, but no one was ever in any risk of dying.
Getting Flagged
# Dec 18 2009 at 12:56 PM Rating: Decent
I guess it's no surprise that this is all pretty trivial now. I'm a 75 monk, 470AA, bazaar gear, 14700/2360 hp/ac with merc buffs. I did all 6 trials with with just me and the merc easily. A couple quick notes:

Lashing: I failed this once because I killed the final spirit in its cubby and continued wiping out the remaining mobs, not realizing that the final named had already spawned. Oops. Easily corrected the 2nd time around.

Torture: This is the only one I ever felt close to losing, only because of the amount of time spent running around the little room. It was probably never that close in reality.

Hanging: The razorfiends that proc the long stun were not a problem, it never landed on me (398 MR) through the entire trial. In fact, nothing in any of the trials ever hit me except for the random AE which sometimes landed and did 100 or so damage.

Stoning/Lashing - the mobs come from different areas and will sometimes beat on the innocents rather than going straight for you. I don't know if this makes a difference but I'm assuming they could die if left unattended. There are ways to position yourself when the mobs appear that increase your chances of attracting all of them at once, so look for those spots. I would tend to position myself to one side of the room, range attack whoever appeared there, then run to the other side to get the remaining mobs all beating on me. It worked pretty well.

Regular mobs hit 300-500, named around 700 (most of these also enraged and rampaged). Damage shield potions are a good idea. With the merc, I never used mend or any discs (except innerflame, due to boredom).

Good luck!

Confirmed as well that you do NOT need the Marks on you to get the Mark of Justice. Only had 3 of the 6 on me with the other 3 in the bank just now and received the Mark of Justice.

Confirmed today that you do not need to have all of the marks in your personal inventory to get the 7th Mark. Bank is fine.
Getting group to 7th Hammer
# Oct 13 2008 at 7:47 PM Rating: Default
To get your group to 7th Hammer (for monk 1.5 fight), the monk needs to have the Mark of Justice from beating all 6 PoJ trials. Question: Does everyone in the group need this, or just the monk? In other words, if the monk has it and clicks in to the 7th Hammer room, will the rest of the group port along if they don't have the Mark?

Yes, only the monk need it. The rest of the group stands near him when he clicks in and they all go along for the ride.

Seventh Hammer/PoJ Trials bugged!
# Sep 10 2008 at 6:30 AM Rating: Decent
I can confirm that this is broken, as well as all of the trials.. They seem to be bugged. The dialogue goes as it normally would, but when he says "Then begin", you don't get ported into your said trial. The only trial I was able to port into was Execution, (which took 6 tries) and that was after saying it on a separate character, and the other character got ported in.

I also logged in a character that completed his Mark of Justice already, and you can't click into the Seventh Hammer.

The servers just came down at 10:10AM EST, so possibly they'll fix it.

I am unable to zone in using the "U" key and holding the key on the cursor. I suspect they may have changed or broken the key.

Just to add some info to this as i had issues zoning in too.

First thing, be sure to zoom into FIRST PERSON point of view. Then hold the mark of justice in your cursor and click the "U" key.

I usualy play in 3rd person point of view so this little bit stumped me too.

Good luck!

You can leave some marks in the bank and the "I seek knowledge" script still works fine.

75 Druid solo'd my way through all six trials today, was a fun way to spend the afternoon. I experienced the most difficulty with Trial of Execution. The time it takes for the executioner to path up and slay the prisoner is extremely short, and all it takes is a couple spellcasting interrupts by the trash mobs and the axe flies and its a failure. Trial of Torture proved to be the most mana intensive and the Trial of Lashing defintely was the most fun :)

Highly recommended!

Raid zoning in for Monk Epic
# Sep 26 2005 at 4:21 PM Rating: Default
This goes out to the Monks that have their EPIC 1.5 or 2.0.

I have an enc that has the 6 marks, IE access. I have a friend in the guild ready to go to the 7th hammer. Will my enc work to get the raid in for the EPIC? or does the monk have to have them in order to correctly do the EPIC sequence?

Can anyone confirm that the monk needs the mark of justice to loot symbol? If you can use any flagged toon to get the raid in to him, how do they stop a monk looting the symbol once he's dead?

Can confirm, found it in an old patch messege, went something like this, "An extra check has been added to ensure that the monk looting the symbol of justice has completed all trials" sucks, but true

Trials are fun anyway. Can whip through 6 in an hour and get an AA~

Plus it's always nice to say "hey these used to be hard...10 levels and 5000HP ago".

New patch on the 16th of Dec '04 made it so only 1 person per group has to have the Mark of Justice in order for the entire group to be ported to 7th Hammer.
question on the key
# Nov 30 2004 at 7:51 PM Rating: Decent
Do you get an AA for completing all 6 trials and getting the key? "you got a charicter flag" was there but didnt seem to make any difference and while i got the mark I still never zoned into 7th hammer, is it like the BOT flag where you need to use it once for it to count?
If so when you zone in can you port out or do you have to fight?

You just get an AA for getting flags which allow visiting another zone. So winning one of the trials will give an AA for Storms/Valor access, but you won't get another for getting the other five.

Which makes sense from a story point of view since you tell the old dwarf in PoK tales about the zones you visited for your AA.

PS :
The reason why you get a flag and not just a key after winning all six trials is that you are able to get a new key from the Tribunals just by saying "I seek knowledge" again and again.

Do you NEED to have marks in inventory?
# Oct 13 2004 at 8:50 AM Rating: Decent
Can anyone confirm if you HAVE to have the marks in your inventory to do this? I destroyed my Mark of Execution long ago. It wouldn't be a big deal to get a new one, but would be nice if we didn't actually need to have them in inventory.

You must have the marks in your possession (in your backpacks or in the bank). I don't believe they have to be actually on you so long as they are in the bank.

Once you get your Mark of Justice, you also get a flag. At that point, it is safe to destroy your previous marks, and in fact, the Mark of Justice itself. You can just say to any Tribunal "I seek knowledge" to get a new mark.

As of last night, I had 3 of the marks on me, and the other 3 in the bank, and was able to get the Character Flag and the Mark of Justice. So no, you don't have to run back to the bank if you didn't bring them all with you.
keep the runes?
# Oct 05 2004 at 8:54 PM Rating: Decent
i braved? the thought of destoyin gall the runes and the final mark..

you can destroy them all .. all you need to do is when you are rdy to kill the 7th hammer say the phrase again and he will give you another final mark to click on the blue portal again : )

but of corse do this after you get the flag from saying the phrase to get the 7th mark ><
