Gor Taku Earthcaller Stones  

My journey to Luclin at level 111. Starts by talking to Captain Karim: (my finds):

Captain Karim says, ''Greetings, adventurer. Pay no heed to Captain Koldar should you see him. Our true enemy are the Gor Taku. It is very apparent that they are in league with the Loda Kai Brigands. We need to show the Shak Dratha that we are not their enemy. Help me destroy the Gor Taku clan, return to me with four of their earthcaller stones and I will help you however I can.'
Turn in 4 earthcaller stones
Captain Karim says, 'Well done Kenten, your efforts are invaluable. Perhaps we can convince the Shak Dratha that we are not their enemy after all. Alas, with the turmoil in these parts I am afraid that I cannot part with any military supplies as they are needed by my troops. I can, however, at least send you off with a bit of coin and my thanks. Take care my friend!'

I found that a gor taku sentry drop these around 17% of the time, like magelo showed. The underground tunnel west of the camp ( multiple entrances) has one room ( -62.85, 16.96, -436.23 )
of around 10-20 of these, camping this room twice got me 4 of the stones. Some wander around two, there's probably more scattered across the zone.

Here's some information on their levels:

To my 15th level enchanter:

Wanderers were green (means 9th level or below)
Stationary ones in cave connected to Loda'Kai Poacher/Trader cave camp were *red*

To my 19th level ranger:

Wanderers were green
Stationary ones in cave connected to Loda'Kai Poacher/Trader cave camp were *white* (meaning 19th level)

The high level ones may be the ones with the stones as I have yet to find one on a low level one.

Notes:

1. The wanderers (9th level or lower) have about 100 to 150 HP. I've waited a long time to get my Vah Shir Beastlord up to 34th level to get his 150 point nuke and he now nukes the wanderers with ease.

2. The cave version (19th level) have about 300 HP. The same nuke used on these toons gets them to about half health.

3. The key to insuring that the stone is on these toons is to kill them with a single nuke, or two if you're *really* fast. You are trying to prevent the reappearance of that pet, which means the stone would be gone.

Most of the Shar Vahl quests require a box or bag to combine things in. I am going to see if there is more to this hidden in the text

Do you know that if killed before the pet spell goes off, they will indeed drop the stone? I have long theorized this, but never succeeded in killing them that fast.

First off you need to kill these guys before they cast a spell, because they use the stone to summon pet. Secound they are around lvl 15 -27 there not supposed to be so ranged bu thtey are. Third they are highly social and the first thing they cast is thier pet mob them if you can.
