At first Renux was Dubious to me, and she wouldn't talk to me, so I tried the Sneak method (Indifferent) and she wouldn't talk to me, so I went and slaughtered guards. Tried again at Amiable and Kindly, she wouldn't talk to me, so I had to get to Warmly. Finally she talked to me and I was able to get my Seal! Making 5 and 10 dose poisons is incredible, it was all worth it. What a wild ride.

This quest version of Renux Herkanor stands near Toxfoddler in West Karana, at -2995, -13395. She spawns at 7 PM gametime, although not every day, and remains up for approximately 15 minutes. Spotted in the hut at 7 am too, but the spawn time needs to be confirmed.
Make a Grandmaster Assassin's Vial and have it on your person before hailing or Renux won't give you the quest or the container. You say, 'Hail, Renux Herkanor' Renux Herkanor says 'Master Hanns is going to kill me! I let that dark assassin look at his prized poison collection and he lifted it all when I wasn't looking! He even snatched his Grandmaster's Vial! Master Hanns was so furious he grabbed one of his old blades from his collection and jabbed it at the wall so hard it shattered! I really need some help replacing all that was ruined or I have a feeling Master Hanns is going to send me on a suicide mission!' You say, 'I will help you replace all that was ruined.' Renux Herkanor says 'Fantastic! I need to replace all those old poisons, the vial and that old scareling blade. I think the bottles had the following written on them Bane, Burn, Essence, Sloth, Rage, Swiftness, Disorientation, and Dimethyl. Please hurry!' Receive a 10-slot Unfilled Box. Items list: 1. Was working on Circle of Unseen Hands faction and decided to head over to the hut to see if she was available (during the kunark era on the Thornblade server.)
Three copies of her were up. All right on top of each other. At around 6pm. I don't think it was 7pm yet.
She said I didn't have enough skill. Poison Making was at 273. I'm hoping I will be able to get the Grandmasters Assassin Vial the same day Velious is released.

The Grandmaster Assassin's Vial IS REQUIRED for getting the quest. Had only changed this thing to get her from" youre not skilled..." blabla to give me the quest.

Obtained and completed 13/7/09 with a skill of 232 unmodified so it's just warmly faction and needing to have the Grandmaster Assassin's Vial. Haven't done any of the Toxicoligy Quests.
I'm not certain if I need to have better faction w/ Renux or if I have to complete the Toxicologists quests. However, atm I am Kindly to her and Make poison is at 262 *and slow working it's way up* Does your skill have to be a specific level, do you have to have a specific faction level, and/or do you have to completely the toxi quests?

I am now Ally to Renux, and to the guard I did the money Blackburrow stout quest with, I am now Warmly. I cannot get the quest. I don't think this is just based off of one thing. I'm going to work my poison up, get the Master Toxi quest, finish that, and see where it lands me. Will update then.

Make Poison is at 278, Ally faction with Renux and 1 hit from my 1.5 being completed. I finally got the quest from her and completed it. I only mention the 1.5 because Until I defeated the Undead Renux, she wouldn't give me the quest. I doubt that this has anything to do w/ the 1.5, but figured I would mention it anyways.
Yay for me finally getting this! Good Luck to any Rogue's attempting this. Hope all goes well =)

Okay...follow up...52 rogue...make poison at 278...had all the parts...8 poisons, vial and eyerazzia (and if I never see PoF again it will be too soon...lol)...gave about 2000 in gp to Guard Shilster (started at dubious and got to amiable but did know if he was the same faction as Renux) just for the hell of it and then sat it out waiting for Renux to pop..and was only amiable and she wouldn't give the quest...so I went back the next day and gave Shilster enough gp's until I was warmly to him then set off to find Renux again...now here's the funny part...it was 7AM and she was up...I think she pops two times a day randomly which is why alla above says 7PM and some in the thread have said 8PM...I think she may pop at 7AM and 8PM on a random day-to-day basis...this time I was warmly, got the quest...filled the box and handed it back and voila...have my seal!

Is this quest broken or something? I'm there at 7PM gametime...I'm there at 8PM gametime...no Renux spawn...not on random days, not on any day...I have all the poisons...I have eyerazzia...I have 278 make poison skill, 300 with the trophy...I have the grandmaster vial...I gave guard shilster 2000gp to try and make sure faction was high enough when and if she does pop...I ran around the freaking shed a zillion times...what does it take to get this NPC to spawn?

I finally completed it today. The only reason I did the quest was because I already had a high poison skill. I'm not sure what i can really do with the coffin bottle (it'd be nice if store bought items could make stacks of good poison) but i sure did like that 100% wr satchel. I miss it already. I may make another since the trophy is only at 5/7. If I were just starting out with a rog I'm not sure I'd even do poison skills but we'll see how things turn out.
I'm not sure what renaorn's situation was below regarding not needing a 300 skil. I sure wasn't that lucky. Each time I ran out of poison stuff I went over to check the quest. 285, 291, 294 and yes I ran out at 299. She wouldn't give the quest till 300. I was really worried I would need 301. I always had the trophy in the ammo slot and never put it any other slots when chekcing the quest. I've since found out or was reminded that stat items in ammo slot don't increase your stats. However, when going from 275 to 300 the trophy evolved close to 75% in the 5/7 phase.
Like the others, I got the "lack the skills" msg until 300 then the another msg until faction got to warmly. I started at amiable and thought warmly was next but sadly found I was 2 factions away. I killed bandits and turned in gold pcs to Guard Shilster until I was done. I'm not sure when I got to warmly since I went to check a few times and she wasn't spawning so I'd head back and go through the cylce all over again.
I must of killed 8 cycles of bandits in W Karana, 4 in N Karana and turned in about 650 gold pcs for the 2 faction lvls. (Turned in as 5pcs at a time, other qty's and coins wouldn't work)

Just a note, since the potions all have the same icon I would advise being sure you have the right ones when you leave for Renux. Otherwise you may find yourself killing Scorpikis and yetti's for a bit. (What a bummer that was.)

Not sure about your issue with skill, but I do know the only messgae I ever got from her was Faction related. She told me, "The Circle has recognized your deeds and contributions, but I think you need to prove your worth to us a little more." I did the quest at a skill lvl of 252. I did NOT equip my Trophy or my Vial. Turned in Gold pieces until I was warmly to Shilster, as well as killing the Bandits every time I ran through to check on Renux or go to the Bank. Once I was Warmly to Shilster, I ran over to Renux spawn point. She was up, so I hailed her after checking faction. Warmly, and got quest. Turned in items and received my Seal. So you CAN do this quest while not being at 300 in poison mastery. Unles SoE has changed something since you posted. Anyways, for all you Rogues out there working on this, it is possible. I did have my Title for Expert Poisoncrafter, not sure if that affected anything or not.

Just completed the quest today with a skill of 272 unmodified. What you must have though is the grandmaster assassin's vial with you and Renux then triggers the quest.

Is this quest level restricted? I have warmly with unseen hands faction and a poison making skill over 280. She wont give me the ques text though.My rogue is level 51.Thank you for any info that can be provided.

Yes it is..for the fact that you must loot the Eyerazzia in the Plane of Fear which is level restricted to 46+. So, you must be 46 to

I suspect that its not level restricted but skill restricted. I have an L75 Rogue who I finally got around to playing with make poison. He is both ally with the Circle of Unseen Hands faction and is at 275 make poison skill as I write this however Renux Herkanor when hailed responds:

I'm guessing that if Mathawlny has a 280 skill at 51 and my rogue has 275 at 75 and neither can obtain the quest its got to be a skill check and I'm stabbing in the dark and guessing its 300 restricted...

Yes. You must have an un-Mod'ed skill of 300, in conjuction with faction to get quest.
I don't know if this was changed in recent years, but I just got the quest with my rogue who is level 35, 285 poison skill, and 'warmly' faction to the circle of unseen hands.
I cannot confirm whether or not you need to have your grandmaster poison vial made already to get this quest, as I had mine made before I tried talking to her.

There is a trigger as well. Run around the shed in a circle a few times, and you will spawn her. Thanks to Gustus for telling me that!

The merchant wasnt up either. He did however, spawn shortly before 8pm and stayed up for a while then despawned. Respawned again shortly after that.
At 7pm Gametime Renux spawns. I am Indifferent--NOOOOO! ! ! Grrrrr-- guildy druid was with me b'cuz im too lazy to run zone to zone. So, he chain Hailed while I killed the 3 guards and Captain in NK at bridge. Took 6 cycles of the 3 guards and captain to get from Indiff to -->Warmly<--.

About how long might this take? on average? And are the other grandmaster's the same time length>?
She does give the quest at warmly. I killed bandits and the guards in WK. I saved the sashes from the bandits hoping I can repair my Qeynos guard faction later

i just got the box for this quest. you have to be ally to get it. so unless your a rog from qeynos there is a few ways to get there. use hide/sneak go to bar by second dock in s.qeynos there is a dwarf named iron toe give him 4 honey meads to get faction for circle. Or go to wk where she is at and kill the 4 bandit spots and qeynos guard towers found that killing bandits and guard much much much faster on faction.

FYI, when raising faction with the WK Renux, I found that with the illusion Barbarian instead of my regular dwarf self, my faction wen tup one standing. Hope this can help some people save a bit of time... I didn't try any other illusions, but you may wnat to.

I just completed this quest lastnight. At 245 makepoison + the vail, I went 8/8 on the poison combines and farming the components was relatively easy. Getting the Eyerazzia was a bit of a pain since we accidentally spawned Ire in PoFear. There were 3 Eyerazzia drops in about 12 Scarelings, so once you break-in and set up it is relatively straight forward to get one.
The frist thing I did after turning in the grandmaster box was to see if I could combine 10 summoned poisons off of the rogue ornate legs. The summoned scoriea are no drop no rent, but to my surprise, the combined 10 dose WAS NO LONGER NO RENT! That is absolutely amazing, since I hated summoning over and over, then invariabley wasting some. Now, during down-time, LFG or whatever, you can summon, combine and make 10-dosers and keep them in your bank for a rainy day!
Yay SOE, either you intentially did something great or screwed up once again! Either way, the GMAS is a must for the serious Rogue!
