Cavalier Waut may be found on the fourth floor of the library at +85, +1045.

You say, 'Hail, Cavalier Waut'

Cavalier Waut says 'Good day t'ye, traveler. The adepts of New Tanaan 'ave worked very laboriously t'properly welcome ye t'the Plane of Knowledge. Many of us 'ave delved into the past lives of our ventures upon Norrath an' 'ave brought forth from the recesses of our memories the spells that we once wielded as might t'our cause. Now, we no longer be needin' them, but we understand that ye may very well find them t'be of use yet. Oh, and if ye find an item of arcane nature though it seems t'be mundane or useless t'ye, dinnae disregard it! The planes 'old many items that are not what they seem, friend. Return such incorporeal runes and scrolls t'me and I shall make them spells worhty of any crusading paladin!'

Bring Waut various parchments for PoP spells in return.

Upon turn in,

Cavalier Waut accepts the item carefully, studying it with great caution as she handles it in her small hands. The paladin then nods softly to herself as if in recognition or preparation and then closes her eyes. The dwarf's voice begins to spill softly across the area in a divine chant of reverence and prayer. As the dwarf speaks her indeciferable words, the item in her hand seems to grow corporeal and real. Runes form upon it in silvery script that seem to shimmer in the torch-cast light of Myrist. Eventually, she opens her eyes and inspects the item for a final time. Nodding to herself once more in satisfaction, she hands the scroll to you with a warm smile, ''This should de ye good, m'friend, I guarantee! Be careful, though, for this be a powerful spell not t'be underestimated or used without caution or respect.'

Ethereal Parchments will yield you 61-62nd level spells.
Spectral Parchments will yield you 63-64th level spells.
Glyphed Rune Words will yield you 65th level spells.

Glyphed Rune Words

This post should apply to all PoP level 65 spells. All require a glyphed rune words turn-in, typically in the library in PoK, to the appropriate NPC. For paladins, the NPC is Cavalier Waut (a dwarf female) on the next-to-top level of the library. The turn-in was from an era when level 65-70 mobs were considered "raid-only". Now, in an era of mercenaries, they can be soloed (even with the 2-3 adds per NPC) by any character level 78 or higher. But, here is the catch: the runes are no-trade. Hence, assuming that the rune is for a level 65 alt, you need to park the alt in a safe place (I suggest Bastion of Thunder in PoT entry point), and plan to kill the named-mob with a higher level character. In BoT, there are 4 very easy level 65 "bosses" which drop the rune about 50% of the time. My sequence was 01101101 (with zeros for not dropping; ones for the successful drops). I killed (as a level 80 ranger with 525 AAs and a healer merc) Hreidar Lynhillig (twice), Laef Windfall (twice), Oreen Wavecrasher, Gaukr Sandstorm (twice), and Eindride Icestorm (Tower). The only tough fight was Eindride. However, all of them self-heal, and all have 2-3 adds. The adds can be slowed (other posts); the named cannot be. Once killed, I invised the pally, then looted the rune. However, it took me 4 turn-ins to get the 2 distinct level 65 spells I needed (3 of one kind in a row, then the 2nd one). Expect that it will take 4 killed named NPCs per successful acquisition of each spell. Note that each named NPC in BoT that drops the rune is on a 6-hour spawn tower. Each of 4 easy ones are in the main area (separate direction and room for each); thus, there is no need to go to the Tower area. Note that these spells are rarely sold in the bazaar. I would estimate that it took me about 8 hours of playing time to get the 2 spells that I needed for my pally.
