If you would go purchase some supplies for me from various locations around the world I would be able to reward you for your time spent. If you are ready to begin?' You say, 'I am ready to begin.' Trep Thilcan says 'Great! Here is a special crate. It needs to be filled with: A purification tablet from Freeport A keg of beer from Qeynos A ball of twine from Shadeweaver A bundle of weapons from Firiona An armor assortment from Thurgadin And a case of meat from the Bazaar That should give me quite a stock of items to sell to travelers out here.' Purification Tablet: Krystin Charcoal (good) in West Freeport or Toxdil (evil) in East Freeport. Keg of Beer: Crow or Tanlyn Galliway in North Qeynos (good) or Darien Felton in Neriak (evil). Large Ball of Twine: Saren Kaja in Shadeweaver's Thicket or Fugla in the Feerrott. Bundle of Weapons: Dom Pathfinder in Firiona Vie at +465, -3350 (good) OR Ootok in Grobb (evil). Armor Assortment: Terman Underbelly in Thurgadin Case of Meat: Gaelsori Heriseron in The Bazaar or Gellanna Zon in The Barter Hall. Trep Thilcan says 'Fantastic! You got me everything I need to set up shop. Here is some money for your troubles. I hoped you learned something as well. I am sorry I have nothing more to give you except this advice, if you combine: A clockwork carapace A metal rod Gnomish bolts Firewater And Grease ..in a Toolbox you should get something nice!' My Dark elf Necromancer tried to do this quest, and the items are the same but from different locations. The ball of twine is in Feerrott, the bundle of weapons if in Grobb, and the keg of beer is in Neriak, or so he says. Haven't been able to find the neriak beer yet, but the other two weren't too hard. Oh, and the purification tablet in Freeport was on the poison vial vendor in the tunnels of West Freeport. These appear to be the exact same purificatin tablets as the ones that have been sold in Cabilis forever.

Trep would not give this quest to my 15 ranger. He said the quest was too dangerous for her. She has completed willamena's quest.

anyone done the combine yet in the second part after you turn in the items? Do you have to be a gnome tinkerer to combine them? What might the reward be?
Yes, the recipie he gives is for a Tinkered item... a Wok. It's used in Baking.
