Did this quest and got the veil.
I feel this piece of equipment is good for a shaman playing healer in a group. Tho we are able to heal, but not much. And sometimes a group request that you slow mobs etc. This will save on some mana for heals.

Remember when you put the 4 gems into the box.
Click on combine so it becomes a nodrop Gem Collection Box item. THEN do you turn it in for the veil.

Could I perhaps procure these from you? Visit [Merri] and get a Collector's Box from her. Carefully place the gems inside and close it up. Once you return this to me, I can pay you for your services.' You say, 'Who is Merri?' Drelynn Beaufax says 'Curator Merri is the founder of the museum in the Selia district of New Tanaan. She is a true visionary and a wonderful person as well. It is her dream to turn life's love into something truly grand. She also carries with her the Collector's Boxes. If you need one, be sure to ask her for it.' The Blackened Sapphire drops from Ekeros in Najena. The Greenscale Emerald drops from various Kunarkian goblins. The Shimmering Velium Ruby drops from Ry`Gorr mines in Crystal Caverns. The Hope Diamond drops from various mobs on Luclin. Combine all four in the Collector's Box to craft a Collection of Gems. Give this to Drelynn. Drelynn Beaufax inspects each gem carefully. 'These are in much better condition then I thought I would get them in. Adding these to my exhibit pleases me greatly. No, all of the gems are tradable. The finished product is not, however, and I am not sure about the collectors box, but anyone can get one of those.

I cleaned out the goblin fort twice and got a lot of trivial loot messages, not one Greenscale Emerald - are these frickin things lore? Cause beating up greenies for no reason is not how I like to spend my day....

Like many quest items these will magic or lore and subject to TLC on the Firiona Vie server. If you want to do the quest there, you'll have to employ someone younger to assist you.

I have no clue where Mr.Glass Half full pops. Infact I have never seen a stonegrabber in this zone. But hey, who am I to dispute a gay elf in tight green pants.

The stonegrabbers are black rocks laying down next to some of the grey boulders. Like the ones in front of the rockhopper cave. That group of 3 grey boulders has 3 stonegrabbers at it. They do not attack normally. I had the named spawns there from time to time.

Just a thought...anyone tried doing all these quests and placing all of the "fine antique.." items in collectors box and combining them?...dunno if that will do anything

Hope Diamond dropps off a named Stonegrabber in Dawnshroud. To bad I sold mine to a merchant for 8gold a few months ago. :/

Any idea which gobbies drop these? Taken the whole camp out 3 times and no drops.

I was ransacking the Goblin Fort in Warsilks last night, killed every spawn point in and around the fort; in 4 hrs of killing I looted exactly 2 of the emeralds and banked them knowing what they were for....looking at the reward though I might just forget about it :-/
Killing in Frontier Mountains I have seen one drop off a caster gobby. Think it was called an adept. Only drop and only Adept I've seen so can't comment if it's from that specific mob or just blind luck.

Had 4 of the Shimmering Velium Rubies drop off of Miners in CC - they are blue, but they are rubies - go figure! :)
