After completing quest No 3, Crusader Quarg says... "The temple shall be pleased. As instructed by the Hierophants, here is your Iron Cudgel of the Mystic. You have done well that I must ask you to [collect the Crusaders of Rok Nolok]. Take this chest (6 slot). Inside you shall combine the skull of their
leader and at least five of the caste members (sound familliar). You then will go to the Swamp Garrison and deliver the full chest and your Iron Cudgel of the Mystic to Mystic Dovan. Go to him now and inquire of the Crusaders of Rok Nolok." Mystic Dovan spawns after 9pm on top of the building with the warlord in Swamp of no hope and says when you inquire "Mystic Dovan lowers his head in sorrow let us have a moment of peace. I cannot find the words to speak of the unspeakable act of the gods which took the lives of the legendary Crusaders of Rok Nolok. You must find the answers for yourself. All I can do is wait for their return." The legend of Nolok says that he and his followers were shrunk down by a magical rain and that Nolok's head burns red. You need to go to the first goblin ruins in Warsilik's Woods (when entering from Field of Bone) and hunt the Goblin Bloodtracers. These drop the 5 glowing skulls you need. You also need to get one Lore glowing skull (also dropped by these goblin bloodtracers, but much more rare). Combine the 5 skulls and lore skull in the box given by Dovan and return them to Donovan, along with your previous cudgel I think, and you will receive the Iron Cudgel of the Prophet.

Easiest part of the quest

This part of the quest was easier than any other because of people looking for goblin skins and shrunken goblin skull earrings.... I actually didn't kill anything ... just looted from corpses that were all over the ground. It took more time getting to the fort than it did to get the skulls!
A little easier

I actually got all of the Tiny Glowing Skulls before I got my last Iksar Skull with and 'X's.

This one wasn't as bad except for finding the Bloodtracer's without getting whacked by the Aggressors and the Messengers.

Getting the Box from Quarg
# Sep 14 2003 at 3:12 PM Rating: Decent
"When I completed the 3rd cudgel, Quarg put the new cudgel in my open inventory slot and didn't give me another combiner box. I've tried saying all kinds of stuff to both Quarg and Dovan but can't seem to get the combiner box. Anyone have any clues? Do I have to go back and restart quest from number 1 and make sure I have two open inventory slots after completing #3?"
You need to say "I will collect the Crusaders of Rok Nilok" and he will put the box on your pointer.

No Lore Skull is Good.

This quest again discovering what I learned from the Last Cludgel quest. That there is no LORE SKULL. I picked up 6 tiny glowing skulls and non of them said LORE in the identify box. I have two thoughts... 1. They have changed the requirement or 2. It is bugged for the good of the quest. Nothing spcl to note other than if your level is not 40 plus when doing this watch out for Grachnist the Destroyer. I had my pet up and Full buffs and it was almost like fighting a Frost Giant in GD (I was soloing this area). Lucky for me becasue of my level I didn't agro any other gobs for adds. By himself he was ok if you had to handle him and other gobs prepare for a spanking.
All in all it was easy to get the skulls because of my level and OH the chest... IT is a C.O.R.N. chest... someone has a since of humor. They should have reversed the names of the chest then they could have called it the Corn Cob quests >: ) whew...

Grach is a wuss
# Aug 08 2002 at 10:03 AM Rating: Decent
Grach is a big wimp he'll con drk blue from 35 to whatever I never con'd him after I hit 40 he was still drk blue. One, two, three of them can be up at a time not a big deal, and is common. if you can get the camp do it and stay around for a few weeks to get the earing.

The Tiny Glowing Skull LORE is a pain in the butt but drops off of any Bloodtracer. Just zone in from FoB and camp the gob ruin that is right near the cliff/ocean. combine em and turn them into Dovan. Then start on the next quest if you want to.

Warning
# Sep 24 2001 at 6:16 AM Rating: Default
Anyone hunting the main gobby fort in WW for the skulls I have only one warning when clearing the gobs in the building Grachnist the Destroyer spawns be VERY careful I was there killing gobs with my 41st paladin and 2 spawns of Grachnist the Destroyer poped at the same time. A monk I was there with who was after the earing said he had camped that spot for near a week and never seen 2 pop at the same time and one is bad enough to take on, 2 is a major mess.

Anywho I had happend to loot the lore tiny glowing skull along with 3 of the non lore ones in the gob fort that night. So they can be found there just a tougher fight.

The goblin bloodtracers can be found all over Warslik's Woods, whereever goblins normally spawn. I camped the two single goblin spawn points by the zone to Field of Bone (1550, -3750 and 1200, -3400) -- good for soloing, and also the 4-spawn goblin ruins (3000, -2000). Spawn time is 15 minutes.

Watch out if a Grachnist the Destroyer goblin spawns -- low 30s with 2000 HP. I would pull these all the way to the guards near Cabilis to get rid of them. Also, you don't want to go into the big goblin fort (3000, 0) because too many goblins will gang up on you and they are all SOWed thanks to the goblin casters.

Bloodtracers always drop the tiny glowing skull. But the LORE skull is a pain, I had gathered 11 regular skulls before I finally got one LORE version.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jul 28 2000 at 11:20 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) There is A HUGE bug in the FoB. There is a cave full of spiders and if you kill them all enough times, you can make a bright yellow spider called the burynaibane spawn. if you let this attack you but not attack it except to get it to agro you, it will summon a level 50 earth elemental pet for you. You have complete control of the pet and get full exp from killing reds etc. the pet can kill the ghost at the shore and beat her with 50% health left. Also, you can get two pets from one spider spawn if you have a buddy attack the spider right after it sommons the pet so the pet dosn't kill it. Note: if you get caught you will be warned for exploitation of the game the first time, suspended the second, and permanently banned the third. use this cheat at your own risk. you may only get to level 20 using the pet as there isn't anything higher than that in the field of bone.

I think this bug is squashed. I have tried many times to get this thing to spawn and have two+ hours invested, 5+ necklaces, and 5+ fangs. I tried one hit then stand, a non-damaging spell (drowsey), and light dd spells. No pets.

So I turn in the Full chest and my cudgel of Mystic to Mystic Dovan?
RE: Who
# Sep 24 2000 at 12:01 AM Rating: Good
After getting all the skulls you turn the chest and your old mace into Mystic Dovan in the Swamp of No Hope. He spawns after 9:00pm in the buildings on the right while coming out from East Cabilis.
Well, at least it's a magical weapon...
# Jul 01 2000 at 9:44 AM Rating: Decent
Your reward for this quest is the first weapon that does more damage (5/23 Iron Cudgel of the Prophet--Magic Item), but it is still quite disappointing for a character that is probably 20th or greater by the end of the quest.

This quest is much shorter than the previous, and the spawn which drops the Tiny Glowing Skulls is the Goblin Bloodtracer in Warslik's Woods. If you are hunting solo, I found the best place (at 21st level) to find these is at a hut by the river along the path at about pos2100, neg20. To get there, take the path from the West Cabilis zone down to the second left turnoff and follow this around until it runs through a broken down structure. There is but one spawn point in this structure, and you will see Bloodtracers, Witchdoctors, Warriors, Pit Fighters, Battlemasters, and Aggressors all spawn in that one spot. On one occasion I saw a Spirit Caller spawn here--this was yellow to me, so I used my SoW and periodic Spirit Strikes to keep him aggroed until I could pull him to the guards. Everything else was either blue or high green at 21st (22nd by the time I finished the camp). Over the course of 8 hours of camping, I killed about 30 creatures here, including 8 Bloodtracers. They all dropped the non-lore "Tiny Glowing Skull," so I eventually /auctioned for the LORE version and got it within another 30 minutes--I offered 25pp, so there were four or five 50+ characters running around the zone killing every Bloodtracer they could find...

One note of caution--a named Goblin "Grachnist the Destroyer" will wander past this spawn point periodically--I saw him 3 times during my camp, but he was always passing through on the way to the Goblin Fort and never aggroed on me. One online bestiary says he's a 40+ MOB, and he /conned high red, so just stay away from him if you're going solo on this one. Otherwise, the only thing that ever attacked me while I was medding beside this path was a Goblin Scout which is about a 4th level MOB... I just Rooted, Afflicted, and went back to medding to let it die--overkill I know, but I don't like being interrupted when I'm medding (grin).

The items needed are actually one Lore Tiny Glowing Skull (IDs as Skull of Rok Nolok) and five non-Lore Tiny Glowing Skulls (ID as Crusaders of Rok Nolok).

The regular Glowing Skull (IDs as Skull of Torture) I believe is used for a SK quest or something.
