This quest begins with Cryssia Stardreamer in the Temple of Solusek Ro (+422, -42, +3).

You say, 'Hail, Cryssia Stardreamer'

Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'Hail and good day to you. I am Cryssia Stardreamer of the League of Antonican Bards. My colleague Walthin and I are here while we deal in [lambent stones] with the followers of Solusek Ro. If you are interested, my partner and I also deal in [lambent armor]... the perfect armor for a bard of note.'

You say, 'lambent stones'

Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'Lambent stones are gemstones of great power. They are midnight blue in color - if you want more information on them you should ask Genni.'

You say, 'lambent armor'

Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'Lambent armor is custom crafted armor, made especially for bards. It is forged by the MeadowGreen brothers and then enchanted by the followers of Solusek Ro. If you are interested, I can tell you about the [lambent helm], the [lambent breastplate], [lambent vambraces] or [lambent bracers]. My colleague Walthin can tell you about other lambent armor pieces.'

You say, 'lambent helm'

Cryssia Stardreamer says, 'I can give you a lambent helm, but you will need to fetch me a few items I need for later trades with the followers of Solusek Ro. I require an opoline helm from a Deepwater goblin and a mudwater rune from Cazic-Thule. Finally, you will also need to see Genni about getting me a lambent star ruby. Bring me these items, and I will give you a lambent helm.'

Cryssia Stardreamer needs an Opaline Helm (from Deepwater Goblins in South Ro or Lake Rathe), a Mudwater Rune (From Tae Ew Fanatics in the Feerrott), a Lambent Star Ruby (obtained by giving two Star Rubies and one Lambent Stone Genni) to make the Lambent Helm.

Cryssia Stardreamer says 'Wait, ______, are you not forgetting something?'
Cryssia Stardreamer says 'Wait, ______, are you not forgetting something?'

If you're looking for the Mudwater Rune it is dropped by lizard fanatics inside CT at the pyramid.

The Tae Ew Fanatics are not found in front of CT on the Progression Servers.

Can this quest be done by a character that is apprehensive in temple? I have an iksar, and I dont know what I did to make this happen, but Genni would not take my star rubies and lambent stone.

Does anyone know if Lambent Helm quest still works now that they made Cazic Thule (CT) a high level (50+) kill zone? The mud water rune needed for the quest dropped off of the Lizard Fanatics there. Have they moved them (Fanatic and/or Rune) to Feerott somewhere? Been running around for several days now trying to find a Lizard Fanatic in Feerott without trying to zone into certain death at CT.

I got one today off of a Fantic right near the zone to CT. They said its not a rare drop there. Just thought I'd let you know..

Yes the rune still drops. I got one off a Fanatic just outside Cazic Thule in Feerrot.

i promise you, the mudwater runes are not a common drop. me (34 beastlord) and 2 friends (39 shaman, 43 cleric) camped this entire area for about 8 hours and never saw anything other than fine steel spears. rare drop, but i'm sure the quest still works
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 27 2002 at 8:53 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) WHY THE HELL IS THIS CONSIDERED A LVL 30 QUEST.THAT IS BULL ALL YOU SEE IS PEOPLE SUGGESTING YOU GET HIGH LVL PEEPS TO HELP YOU AND THAT IS BULL IF YOU GUYS ARE GONNA SAY LVL 30 MINIMUM FOR THIS QUEST THEN DO THE DAMNE QUEST BY YOURSELF AT LVL 30 AND SEE IF YOU CAN DO IT BECAUSE I CAN'T DO IT BY MYSELF AT LVL 30 WHICH TELLS ME IT IS NOT A LVL 30 QUEST. WHY MUST THIS SITE BE DUMBASSES AND SUGGEST THE WRONG LVL DO THIS QUEST BECAUSE ALL LAMBENT QUEST CAN NOT BE DONE BY A LVL 30 BARD. HELLO WAKE UP AND CHANGE YOUR FRIGGEN LVL SUGGESTIONS BECAUSE I HAVE YET TO SEE ONE LVL SUGGESTION FOR A QUEST BE RIGHT AND ALL YOUR DOING IS MAKING PEOPLE WASTE TIME FINDING OUT HOW WRONG YOU ARE.

All quests here are listed with the lowest possible level you can do the quest yourself. Not by yourself but with a group. Do you flame everything in all caps, if so that may be why you cant find a group. Try politely asking the peeps in these zones to lend a hand. You will be amazed at how nice some people can be.
RE: TOO DAMNE HIGH LVL MOBS
# Jan 31 2002 at 10:03 AM Rating: Default
This is considered a lvl 30 quest due to the lvl range of the mobs you kill, mobs for the lambent quests (so far as my knowledge) range from 28-32. If you have a problem at 30 grab a couple lvl 30 friends. Hardest part at 30 would be clearing your way to the mob, but very doable with friends.
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 28 2001 at 9:11 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) 54 SK i kill everything here solo
#Anonymous, Posted: Nov 17 2001 at 8:01 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) hey just posting to let you guys know if you have a 50+ friend they can basicaly do all the lambent quests in one day(a druid is prefferd for porting and tracking)I single pulled every mob needed to do every quest at level 51, and most of them died with one stern reprimand. So ask somone to spare a day for you, or make a new friend. If you feel that cheapens the game by having somone do it for you in one day send me a tell ill do it for you for a fee *grin*

RE: About Lambent HELM
# Nov 14 2001 at 8:35 AM Rating: Default
To make a Lambent Ruby

first you need a Lambent stone! to make this Lambent stone into a Lambent Ruby, you need to buy 2 Rubies

I bought my at a vendor in Kelethin, The price is kind of high but you afford it, I think I bought 2 rubies for 250 pp their ?

so for a lambent Ruby you need to combine the lambent stone and 2 Rubies that you can buy at some places!

For the lambent star Ruby you buy star Rubies and combine with the Lambent stone

go to the soulseek temple where you get the quest and talk to Genni Her sister will not speak about that she does the lambent ruby
so give her 1 lambent stone and 2 rubies (Un stacked) and you get a lambent Ruby!
/bard lvl 36 (just got my lambent BP)

(Hope it will help, my english sucks :) )

Wolf form works on gobbies too, so either get a share woof from a kind druid, or group with one (the harmony aint a bad idea for pulling singles too)
This was a nightmare

I wasted the last two nights with some high level friends in Cazic-Thule (at one point, I was with a 34 bard, 40 SK, and a 26 druid) and we never got the stupid Mudwater Rune to drop. Another friend, a 48 paladin, came by, got a fanatic, I helped kill it (bear in mind I was not getting exp for any of this, as I was too low a level), and of course it wasn't there. After my friends and I died lots of times there, I give up. I'll keep my dorky opaline helm (which I got in Lake Rathe when a cleric was going for her epic), and let someone else waste money and time on lambent.
Lambent

I am in the middle of doing the lambent quests for my bard, i am 31 ranger, well i have completed the bp, bracer, and greaves, and i have pieces for the others. Probably the hardest camp so far is opaline helm. My group tried to pull one dw gob, but the whole flood of em came and destroyed the monk, even through feign death. So. a lvl 55 bard named Tigiuras i think thats how you spell it (much thanks to Tigiuras) after about an hour and half of hunting it finally dropped. So my suggestion is to have a higher lvl help you if you are 35 and under
The real deal on level

at 30 I did it, took forever need a group, CT drop is more common at the pyramid
Actually...
# Jul 17 2000 at 5:39 PM Rating: Default
...The Lambent Helm seemd to me the easiest piece. The Lizard Fanatics drop the Rune you need constantly, plus the Star Ruby is the cheapest of the four gems needed, so there's about 66% of the quest completed there. Yes, the Opalline Helm is the hardest part, but I usually see groups hunting the DW Gobs in Oasis. When I was fighting there from level 14 to 19, groups offered me Opalline helms often through tells, since they thought I would need it for my quest. I got my Lambent Helm at level 22 when I got around to doing the quest. Then again, some others may not have the same luck I did.

The Bracers seemed kind of difficult to me. Camping the Griffenne is a pain, since it doesn't always drop the charm, and I had a little difficulty kiting it. I eventually figured that if I charm a Hill Giant, he'll make it easy for me (At least until Grimfeather caught me doing that =). The bracer was also difficult, as I was level 33 and no one in Unrest wanted me in their group due to my higher level, it took upwards of 2 to 3 hours for one bracer to drop. Then again, some may have more luck than me :)
RE: Actually...
# Mar 24 2001 at 8:12 AM Rating: Default
personally, the hardest lambent piece is the bp, since the gargs are kinda deep in lower guk and surrounded by undead AND living things that are highly kos and aggro, easiest would be the greaves, since there is ALWAYS a hi lvl camping the king and they'll let you loot greaves. oh, and the breast plate, along with being hardest, isn't worth the trouble...in fact, lambent isn't that good, i just want it cause it looks cool =p
RE: Actually...
# Nov 19 2000 at 9:38 AM Rating: Default
Im a druid and I did this for my bard, the bracer quest. I thought it was actually quite easy. The charm dropped after 4 griffenne kills and the bracer dropped off in one dark boned skellie kill. But than again, im lvl 40 and have wolf form so I can wonder around unrest all I like.
Good Luck All
RE: Actually...
# Apr 09 2001 at 4:56 PM Rating: Default
I camped the dark bone bracelet for a long time finally giving up. Went back a day later and got one on the first try. That's always my luck though. Griffenne charms I've always had luck getting.
RE: Actually...

well ive been killing the griffennes for like 5 days now and still no drop:( the bracer from unrest droped the first time P

# Jul 17 2000 at 2:01 PM Rating: Decent
Disagree with Rezn's comment. Is one of the hardest if you are killing the mobs that drop the stuff, the Deepwater Goblins are NOT as easy as other mobs necessary in this quest. And, if you are just looking to loot the items, it is still not easy, since there are not groups hunting DW's in Oasis consistantly. That zone is mostly for 15-20 level characters and is inhabited by them more than a 30 + characters. The easiest piece of lambent to get, is in fact, the bracers.
Lambent Helm
# Jul 01 2000 at 12:27 PM Rating: Default
Easiest of the Lambent Quests, a young bard of the age of 20 to 25 could probably complete it with a bit of luck.
