this is a rare drop. I have found one, so far, and have killed about 25 lg leaf scarab. It is a time consuming project, but it helps attain your lvls for casting, dodge, and med anyway. Plus, the armor really makes you look the part of shadow night. Good Luck!

I crafted my armor for 12 hours yesterday, made the breastplate, helm, boots, greaves and one bracer. I killed at least 30 leaf scarabs of varied sizes and I never saw any kind of patella. I started this when I was 5th season and I am now 10th season and all I have been killing is leaf scarabs and cats, and skeletons of course. I will hunt them a few more hours today but, after that I am moving on. One thing I noticed, and I am not sure if it is coincidence or not, is most of the items I got came to me after I reached 10th season. I was able to kill the giant leaf scarabs at 7th season (most of the time) and I would kill every kind of leaf scarab I saw but really didnt get much until I hit 10th. I think this quest is a little too time consuming, the armor is about the equiv. of banded, I think but, it really makes you look the shadowknight part. I wish I knew some tip to pass on to everyone but I couldnt find any consistance spawn points, they must spawn at random places. Except, the small ones tend to be around the first inn, large ones around the 2nd inn and the giants are close to WC zone line. That is the best I can come up with. Good luck and good hunting.

i think this armor is a waist of time =( i was working on it and i came up with nothing. go get some Ringmail or something. i have Ry'Gorr armor. that is way better.

Been killing large leaf scarab and giant scarab and have never seen any PATELLA drop.
Is the it a no drop?

Anyone having trouble getting the Patellas? I find few leaf scarabs of any type (regular to giant) and those I have found have never dropped Patella's. Anyone know where else they may drop?
