You say, 'Hail, Tovan Tenlah'

Tovan Tenlah says 'I suppose you're one of Nestrals new employees, eh? Well if that's the case I can help get you outfitted with some [gear] necessary for people in this [line of work].'

You say, 'what gear'

Tovan Tenlah says 'The first thing you need is a suit of sturdy traders clothing. Take this note to Verona Rankin and she'll help you with a suit tailored to your needs. Once you have been outfitted in your traders clothing return to me and I will inform you of your [next task].'

Verona Rankin says 'Ah, Tovan sent you for a suit of traders clothing. I can instruct you on how to prepare your suit of clothing but you will have to acquire the required materials yourself. Use this Curing Kit to construct the clothing once you have done so. Do you wish to prepare Coalition Trader [Gloves], Coalition Trader [Boots], a Coalition Trader [Bracer], a Coalition Trader [Cap], Coalition Trader [Leggings], Coalition Trader [Sleeves], or a Coalition Trader [Tunic]?'

You say, 'I wish to prepare a Coalition Trader Boots'

Verona Rankin says 'To craft Coalition Trader Boots you require two [silk thread], two ruined cat pelts, two desert spiderling hairs, and a rattlesnake skin. Once you have the necessary components combine them in your Curing Kit with this Tattered Boot Pattern.'

Not that anyone does these quests anymore, but you need to use the word "craft" instead of "prepare"

Make certain you're using the exact components listed. Also make sure things aren't stacked, i.e. when it calls for two Desert Spiderling Hairs, each one must occupy a seperate space in the curing kit. Same with the silk thread. If everything is exactly as listed, the combine will work. Anything even slightly off (like a low quality cat pelt instead of a ruined cat pelt) it won't. Hope this helps.

well.. that's kinda the idea behind a newbie quest, isnt it?

It's to level up and gather components from the zones around where you start out....

It's not about going from Shar Vahl to Freeport to do their newbie quests... that's rather... lame.

The person complaining about this quest being a HEF HUM quest only needs to wake up.... its a HEF HUM city. Surprised?

-Nah-

What the hell is up with these armor quests. This is the second time I've wanted to do the armor quest for my char and I can't because of my frickin race. (the first time being a wood elf druid and this time a Vah Shir Rogue). Well, does anyone know of a good cheap suit of armor I can *sigh* buy for my rogue?

Or, if you know of a quest I can do to get armor that can be used by a rogue, just tell me what zone it's in. That would be really helpful.

Go look up the Ghullam Armor quest for Vash Shir, It is light sturdy and will carry you to almost lvl 30.

If you are standing at the three rogue trainers, she is through the door, past the halfling.

Boots i made were only usable by Rogues of races Human and Half Elf. Too bad if you are a Rogue of a different race.
