This is a newbie armor quest that begins with Arinna Trueblade in West Freeport. She's located at 570, -600, -86 (not far from the bank and findable using CTRL+F).
You say, 'Hail, Arinna Trueblade' Arinna Trueblade says 'Well met _____. I am Arianna Trueblade, Warlord of the Steel Warriors. I am personally in charge of all the training that our young warriors receive. I take pride in knowing that my teaching can help make the foundation of a Freeport Champion. If you are a [warrior] then we might just have something to talk about.' You say, 'I am a warrior' Arinna Trueblade says 'So you think you have what it takes to become one of Freeport's finest? I will warn you now that we expect every single warrior that is brought into our ranks to go through a series of [exercises]. Rest assured you will be rewarded for your hard work with a set of armor that I will walk you though the process of making. Are you [ready to begin your testing]?' You say, 'I am ready to begin my testing' Arinna Trueblade says 'Very well _____, Here is your Steel Warriors Mail Kit. This kit will be your main tool in creating your own armor. You will gather various items from all areas of Freeport from monsters and stores alike. You will use specific item combinations in this kit to fashion together armor materials that you will combine in a forge with the appropriate mold to make an armor piece. Once you are ready to attempt a piece of armor simply tell me what piece you [want] to craft. I will then present you with the recipe and mold for Steel Warrior [Helms], [Bracers], [Armguards], [Boots], [Greaves], [Gauntlets] and [Breastplates].' You receive a Steel Warriors Mail Kit and a Mold (called what?). You say, 'I want to craft a bracer' Arinna Trueblade says 'As you progress further through your training you will find yourself in heavy battle more and more often. Bracers will ensure that you are able to fend off your opponents blows with minimum injury. To create your bracer material you will need to combine 1 Brick of Crude Iron Ore, 1 Rotting Zombie Skull, 1 Snake Bile and 1 Tiny Dagger in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a forge along with this mold to fashion your very own Steel Warriors Bracer.' In the kit, combine the above-mentioned items to create a Material. Then take the Material to any forge and combine it with the mold she gave you. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

If they are in N Ro how often do they drop?? Cant seem to find
There has been a change in the dialogue in regard to teh bile. As of yesterday [8-13-02 when I did the quest] the ingredients now listed is imply Snake Bile. As others have noted I obtained this from a rattlesnake in Northern Ro.

Darkweed Snake Bile drops as Snake Bile. Sometimes quest items are specific as far the exact name of the creature or size of the item, but in this case, I was able to craft the bracers with Snake Bile dropped (fairly frequent) by large and giant rattlesnakes.

Have been killing large rattlesnakes in NRO for 4 hrs and havent seen it drop yet. How rare is this stuff?

Try the regular Rattler's the ones that spawn in the sand nearest Freeport and slither out to the grass where the guards so helpfully kill them.

I have tried all over Freeport to buy a Tiny dagger but have still failed to get one, does anybody know were they are avaliable?

You can buy them from a female NPC *outside* of this guild - she's down by the KFC escapee. Don't remember her name - but is dressed in normal merchant garb. Tiny daggers look just like regular daggers but are stackable and are called "Tiny Dagger". Be sure to purchase the right one. She will sell to you even though you are a warrior (sold to me, human warrior). The only reason I can think of that she wouldn't sell to you would be your race.
Get a magician, wizard or enchanter to go in and buy it for you. Thats what i had to do. or create an appropriate character and 'transfer' sellable items to that character and then buy the dagger, then do another 'transfer' and your warrior will have it. takes about 8 minutes to do it this way. Thats what i did. The casters in fp that night weren't too cooperative with me. :)

Have spent about seven hours killing these darn snakes and just last night was told to go to NRO and kill Giant rattlesnakes and it will drop. and thus reading here guess that is what Ill do.... but I have no idea about how comes to be called Darkweed snake bile in a giant rattler. Oyyeee

I killed an assload of darkweed snakes and the bile never dropped, I then went to north ro and killed a couple of giant rattlesnakes and it dropped within 10 or so snakes. Nice one Verant :p

The friggin bile drops off of regular rattlesnakes in newbie area , i got it on my bard so now im tryin to get it on my warrior u might be able to get off of giant rattlesnakes but "rattle snakes" are H&lla easier =P
I bought the rotting zombie skull from a merchant in east free port. I did notice that other merchants also carried this item for sale. On saturday they were plentiful but sunday they were quite scarce.

These will be the hardest pieces to do because many people (myself included) have killed 30 or more DW's and have yet to see a bile drop. The skulls drop off most zombies in NRO.

Try the giant rattlesnakes instead of dw snakes.
ah, yes this is bull crap isn't it. Yesterday i killed dw snakes for about 4 hours(very boring) and then descided to kil the giant rattle snakes (cause there were more of them) and bang third one dead looted the dw snake bile. how does dw snake bile come to be in a giant rattle snake? O, where can I find the tiny dagger? if you have it and want to sell or trade please st, tolwe/h-elf warrior Innoruuk server.

I believe the tiny daggers can be bought at the Arcane Science building
