' You say, 'What training' Lendel Deeppockets says 'There are many steps that young rouges must take on the road to stealth. The most important part of your training is learning how to use the tools around you such as the forge. From the looks of you I can tell you could use some more [enchanted armor] as well so I think this would be a good learning experience. ' You say, 'What enchanted armor' Lendel Deeppockets says 'I am pleased to hear that you are interested in making your own armor Makkinry. I have some instructions for you so please listen closely. First, I will present you with your Dusty Mail Assembly kit when you are ready. After that, simply tell me what piece of Slickfinger Chainmail you [want] to craft and I will give you a pattern along with a recipe for [Coifs], [Bracers], [Sleeves], [Boots], [Legplates], [Gloves] and [Tunics]. The recipe I will give you for specific items will need to me combined in the assembly kit to create the magical material necessary. Once you have this material and pattern that I gave you when you told me what item you wanted to craft, put both in the nearest forge to create the armor piece you asked for. Here is your Dusty Mail Assembly Kit. ' You say, 'I want to craft the legplates' Lendel Deeppockets says 'I must say that pants are a good idea young Makkinry. Please gather 4 Bricks of Crude Iron Ore, 2 Spiderling Eyes, 2 Large Wood Spider Tarsus, 1 Bottle of Kalish and 1 Ruined Wolf Pelt then combine them in your kit to create your Legplates Material. Bottle of Kalish loot on Goblin Worker in Misty Thicket area entrance Rivervale

i never saw the bottle of kalish drop in misty, but it can be bought from Wilacor Goldenmead in the PoK at -43.77, -154.10. it's also a common enough drop in high keep and can be found randomly at the merchants. my rogue halfling around lvl 9 conned indifferent to the guards in highhold pass and high keep, but i used sneak and hide to get past the mobs.

well i must say i have help with my 35 druid to track, tried doin this with my 52 paladin but harder without track, anywho i track down what i need to kill and kill it, i have been doin this quest off and on maybe spending a hour or two a day and have all the pieces but one scale wich i dont even need, hell i dont need the armor either im very uber on my rouge, but i am doin quest for the fun of it, anywho all i need is the scale from a drakeling and milk which i can buy, i got the tarsus my frsit day the sternite on the firt YJ i killed the next day and the other things randomly over the past few days, guess im just lucky. I've killed around 300 goblins now, and haven't seen a single bottle of khalish. Moreover, I've only seen a large yellowjacket (for other rogue quest) ONCE, killed it, and of course it didn't drop the sternite. I've been playing this rogue now for 3 days, endless killing and looting and all I have is boots and gauntlets. BTW, the thorn drakeling scales are a major pain in the *** too.

Try Gerb Jinkleberry in the potion shop in Rivervale (he's at -215.66, -75.9). At least on EM, he has plenty

You can also buy the Kalish if the gobs don't drop it.
The large YJ can take a little longer since they spawn on the RV side of the wall and are only up during the day. I had a ranger help me track them down, in return I helped her with her newbie armor quests.

Does anyone know what spiders in what zone drop the Wood Spider Tarsus ? The rest I know

Another good place to find Kalish would be in the Butcher Block Mountains...it seems to be a regular drop out on the Goblins in the surrounding area~ Hope this helps someone

nope. my halfling did it no prob. don't think it raises your skill either, sorry hehe

Kalish drops off Goblins past wall. OR you can search the vendors for one that has been sold, always check the bank merchant. Keep killing the large wood spiders too, it will drop.
Granted some drops I am having trouble with but I have the leggins and gauntlets in like 4 hours of play and questing

=) kalish is easiest to be made with brewing... just use bottle, water, foraged fruit, and foraged veggy in the brewing barrle and wala ^_^ pease out

I had the same problem with the Kalish. I am doing this armor quest for my husband. After finding out he destroyed the ONLY bottle he had looted, I gave up and logged onto my druid. I TPed over to BB, killed 2 or 3 goblins and gated back to Misty with a bottle of Kalish. I had a little halfling do a quick transfer and voila! The goblins in Butcherblock are sots, go figure.

have been looking for kalish for days
am now near lvl13 and am getting very discouraged... this is my first character on everquest and don't know if i'll continue if i'm going to have to hunt days on end getting nowhere for one stinking item for a quest

you can find the Khalish at the merchant in the Fool's Gold i think , the ones that sell all the other alcoholic beverages
