You say, 'Hail, High Priestess Alexandrian'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'Greetings child, what business do you have here? I'm sorry but I will only deal with Clerics that are willing to prove their loyalty to Innoruuk. I cannot deal with every single heathen that feels it is necessary to bid me a good day. If you are a [Cleric of Innoruuk] I might be able to aid you in your training. '

You say, 'I am a Cleric of Innoruuk'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'Is that so Branaddar. Well from the looks of you I wouldn?t say you are much of anything yet. However, if you have the willingness and determination to serve your God then there might just be more hope for you then I would have thought. Obviously, to move forward in your training, you will need to shield yourself from your enemies and from the elements. I believe I have something that could help you if you are still [interested in proving yourself]. '

You say, 'I am interested in proving myself'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'Well I must say that I am impressed by your eagerness to learn, however, you are not the first and will not be the last I am sure that has sworn devotion to our Lord Innoruuk. Lets just hope you don't end up in the burial grounds where many promising young ones before you have found their resting place. If you are ready to begin gathering items to fashion your very own Initiate Darkpriest Armor then I will present you with a [magical relic]. '

You say, 'what magical relic?'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'I have a box that I have been keeping for quite some time and have been waiting to present it to someone like yourself. Someone that I had faith would be strong enough to use it's power to their benefit. This magical box can be used to refine certain metals into a magical compound that is used in crafting Initiate Darkpriest armor pieces. I have the molds necessary to craft Initiate Darkpriest [Helms], [Bracers], [Boots], [Armguards], [Greaves], [Gauntlets] and [Breastplates]. However there are some [important items] that you will need to collect before the molds will be of any use to you. One thing to keep in mind is that I suggest you craft your Breastplate last due to the difficulty of obtaining the items needed for that specific recipe. '

You say, 'what important items?'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'There are certain items that will need to be gathered in our great city of Neriak along with many different things gathered outside in the Forest of Nektulos, where most of your training will take place. The most important component that you will need to collect while adventuring in the forest are Helms that are only worn by Priests of Rodcet Nife. These vile creatures have set up camp in the forest from what I have heard and it is your responsibility to find and execute them. These helms will be your most important component that you will gather because it is used in all [armor recipes] as the metal that you will forge your armor with. '

You say, 'what armor recipes?'

High Priestess Alexandrian says 'Ah of course , I almost forgot that you will need to know what items to combine in the Dark Blessed Box that I presented you with. Simply tell me the armor piece that you wish to craft and I will give you the list of items that you will need to combine, along with the applicable mold. For example, should you want to craft a Helm first you would say, I want to craft a Initiate Darkpriest`s Helm. Please remember that the exact items must be combined in exact quantities in the box or the infusion will not take place. After you have combined together the items necessary to infuse your metal the correct way, you will need to take the Refined sheet of Holy Metal to the nearest forge and combine it with the correct mold to yield your armor piece. '

You say, 'I want to craft an Initiate Darkpriest Bracer'
High Priestess Alexandrian says 'To fashion your own Initiate Darkpriest's Bracer you will need to collect 1 Helm of the Lifebringer, 1 Orc Scalp, 1 Snake Egg and 1 Red Wine. Combine these in your box to create the correct Refined sheet of Holy Metal that you will place in any forge along with this mold to craft your Initiate Darkpriest`s Bracer. '

Please update the quest. The Orc Scalp that is needed is dropped off of "a deathfist orc scout" in Nektulos Forest but isn't called "Orc Scalp" like the ones that drop in Greater Feydark, it's called "Deathfist Scout Scalp"

Clarification

Just wanted to make a clarification that I feel is omitted in the text of the quest. The orc scalp needed is indeed dropped off a Deathfist Orc Scout in Nektulos Forest but it is not called "Orc Scalp" like the ones that drop in Greater Feydark, it is called "Deathfist Scout Scalp" Hope this helps anyone doing this quest.
Oh, btw, getting molds

I too noticed the hail doesn't work. Just tell her your a cleric of Innoruuk and you can get into the dialog that way, or just cut to the chase and say "I want to craft initiate darkpriest bracer" and she'll get the mold in short order. Arms are the hardest getting those scales to drop, but I've not done a full campout on them like I did most the other things to get them. I do have one scout scaple to get the other bracer.

Okay, I worked on this quest for a few days, had a friend help me out. I have a 20th lvl cleric, who didnt' have alot of armor that give wisdom pluses so though I would get a set. I first got boot, helm, then BP (not broken don't use halfling scull), the braces I only have one, but found they pop on the road between the main road and the lego camp north of the bridge. There is also a pop of a scout in the south, but I'm not sure on that location. I've only killed 3 scouts but one dropped a scalp so I guess I'm luckly. I'm finding the arm much more difficult.

broken????
# Jun 22 2002 at 11:19 PM Rating: Default
drinal server, believe she is broken, hail the high priestess and recieve no response. This occured immediately after the last patch. Have full suit, minus 1 bracer due to fact I can not hail her to get the mold, wondering if anyone else having this issue? used the /bug command to report it, but have seen nor heard nothing in response so far. and as for scout scalps the point on the path towards the bridge after newbie log, in between the 2 intersections (the 1 that heads to spires, and 1 that leads to halfling camp) is where i found the scouts the most. Alternating spawns between lego's templar's and scouts, however sometimes get 3 scalps in half an hour, other times sit there for about 2 hours before even seeing a scout pop in, and then hope it drops the scalp

I just finished all the armour quests and this piece was by far the hardest. It took me about 12 hours to get 1 scout scalp. 1 or 2 will spawn around loc 97, 451 every 30 minutes or so. It just doesn't like to drop. Armour looks nice though. Oh, yeah. I'm on seventh hammer and alexandria isnt broken...she will only speak to you once before you go on the quests and she says in the message she doesnt ahve time for non initiates or something like that.

Yes, the key word is "initiate". Get your Initiate symbol first. Talk to the head honcho about it in the cleric guild.

Orc Scalps

To make this clear for anyone else having problems, the scalp is called a Deathfist Scout Scalp and it drops off the orc scouts in Nektulos. They are the only scalp that worked for me out of all the ones I tried.

Yes as of last night she's there(the hottie.) I've helped my GF get the boots already and 17 cracked helms of the Life bringer (these are what you need.) Where you get them? From the Rodcet nife humans in the zone, it's near the leather feet halflings standing around the tree stump, or past one side of the Ultricle.
One last thing the boots on a female DE, look like a pink plate(magenta more or less.)
Bracer Quest
# Apr 09 2002 at 5:33 PM Rating: Decent
Orc Scalp drops from the Orc Scouts that wander the zone. Cleric partner has completed all quests except the breastplate which is not working and the guants which halfling blood is needed. Other than that all working even the bracers.

Helms of the Lifebringer
# Apr 04 2002 at 9:14 PM Rating: Default
I think the stackable cracked helms are the items we need, however, as the quest is totally broken, when you attempt to combine the items you get the does not exist in db message. I have yet to try anything other than a few of the easier to do quests, although I have 2 stacks of helms, might try each of the pieces. I can confirm, however, that the helm, arms, and boots do not work. Also, I have yet to find halfling blood for the gaunts. I am thinking that I'll try toe bracers with a scalp from HHP, and if I get the does not exist message then they will be the correct ones. Otherwise I'm not sure what to do.
who drops?

Who drops the helms?

just north of the halfling camp where they gather around a large tree stump(west of the newbie log by the road) is a group of priest(human) that follow the god Rodcet Knife. they drop the "cracked helm of the lifebringer" that you need .. many of. there are 2 of each. initates (easiest) that are male in leather, deciples (not much harder) that are female in chain. and missionaries (that are a royal pain in the ***** that are male in plate. they are all clerics and cast the lowest and next to lowest of the cleric single target dd spells and he missionaries occaisonally stun. they dont drop the helms often. but they all can. you can work a cycle of their spawns if you watch for the pattern. they do heal each other and the missionary is very protective of his young students.

Orc Scalps
# Mar 22 2002 at 8:27 AM Rating: Default
While I know that the quest is broken, at least until the patch is finished, I was wondering if anyone has any info on "Orc Scalps" dropping in Nektulos. I have yet to see any scalps, other than Deathfist Legionairre scalps.

Red wine can be bought in Neriak for roughly a gold and change, and snake eggs can be looted off of garter snakes now, or bough for around a silver if someone has sold them to a vendor.

There still aren't enough priests of Rodcet though for the helms to drop in sufficient amounts.

I was taking out the orcs at the SW orc camp and got 3 in about 2 hours on Innoruuk with my 10th level Mage.
